Half of your submissions were in spam mega-threads and buried deep within them. The other half of the submissions were just simple trading knowledge that wasn't particularly relevant to bitcoin. It might be helpful to some people, but I will allow for them to merit your posts. I was not particularly interested, impressed, entertained or informed by your posts and therefore I don't feel it right to grant you and merit from my reserves.

I believe your first submission to be sufficiently merited and therefore I won't be throwing any your way for that one, although it looks like a reasonably well written post. Plus, I mostly agree with the sentiment of them being necessary for the economy, at least for now. I may hop into the conversation myself Shocked Again, HCP did my job for me on your second submission and I don't have too terribly much merit to give away so I'll let their merit stand in the place of mine. Very nice post, I like the thought and the idea behind it. I would've merited your third submission if it was in response to some genuine discussion within beginner's and help or something along those lines. It seems the most basic information, but maybe I am out of touch. There were already thread discussing decentralized exchanges, and it seems like you have very long posts that don't have too much substance in them sometimes. You earned a merit from HCP, I'd count that as a win.

Your instruction on how to upload a photo onto the forum would probably have gotten a merit from me if it wasn't approximately the 150th reply in the thread. It was very well written, informative and I would suggest creating your own thread unless there is already a similar one. HCP did the job for me on the submission after that, so I'll let that speak for itself and enjoy the merit. Suggesting where to find their profile was already done numerous times in the thread you did it within, so I can't see a reason to merit that. I feel like a lot of your posts were already explained earlier in the thread, but you do it in a much more creative fashion so I have to give you style points. You got a merit from HCP for one of these and I would consider that a win.

Suggesting an ICO is not something I'm interested in meriting.

Going through all of the posts since the last round as we speak; but I am getting a bit hungry so there may be a short hiccup at some point. There will be consistent progress until I am finished though.

While I don't see anything malicious or necessarily wrong about the posts you've submitted here, there isn't really anything with enough substance or interesting/informative material to warrant a merit. One of the replies is the 200th+ reply and the others are mostly just conversational.

Very nice thread, I have watched the thread and I expect to link to it in the future. I see it has already been merited quite a bit so I will let it stand as it, because I don't exactly see it as "under merited". Although, when I link to it, I will merit it; expect that in the future. Smiley

You almost slipped one by me there, but you've broken a rule by submitting more than 5-posts at one time. Feel free to resubmit and I will be happy to loop back around to you after you've read the rules.

I stopped reading at the first line. I don't like these kinds of threads.

Bill, I hope you don't mind me drive-by commenting in this Sisyphean project/thread that you have created here, but I have a few points up for grabs for low post count members.
I randomly looked at these

I do not mind in the slightest. It's actually quite entertaining when people pop their heads in to give a genuine opinion, review or their own or use my thread as a reference point when they're searching for posts to merit. I encourage more members to do exactly as you've done here. You've even taught me a new word/concept, "Sisyphus"/"Sisyphean". I thought it was an intellectual burn, but I realize it is simply descriptive.

Can I also add... that being post #300 in a thread means that the value of your contribution is very likely going to be close to zero. Roll Eyes
or post #572!!?! Shocked Roll Eyes

In all honesty, your chances of getting any merit for posting in these types of threads is practically nil.

This on the other hand... https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.32152502

Shows that the poster has actually put some sort of effort in... they've found what is potentially a very useful resource (eBook + assignments + video lectures), and taken the time to share with other users so they can explore and learn. +1 merit from me fxstrike!

I also appreciate what cheefbuza has done here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.32344326
Not only found some decent crypto twitter accounts, but actually put some effort into providing some background info and commentary on WHY they consider them to be worthwhile to follow... thats a +1 from me!

You can add whatever you would like. I agree with everything you have said here, and I don't mind you taking over the thread for a minute to give your own opinions, reviews and merits. I've repeated myself a million times within this thread saying exactly some of the things you have and many seem to not understand. Maybe hearing it from another member will allow them to grasp the concept a bit better.

Hey Bill,
Posting in this thread again to get a few posts I made, trying to help the OP with his lost seed, reviewed. Here's the last post of those -

Very surprised that I needed all of my "Reserved" posts. I got a little bit lost, but it looks like we're getting everything back under control. Finishing today, I swear; although, genuine responses where people are making proposals or just making a comment are getting priority at this point. They are going to be the lifeblood of this service very soon, because I am not a merit source and I am running low.

You broke a formatting rule with the way your links are tagged. Please, read the rules and resubmit your posts when you fully understand them.
