Question:  Can I download the new version of the developers wallet when it is released, and leave the old version on my computer?  That way, I will not lose

anything if the new version somehow does not connect with the amount of Solaris coins I have?

Someone said to download the dat file "as is".  Does that mean I should not name it when I download it?  I do not know what is meant by "as is"?  Thanks.

Is there a way to put the "dat file" (the one that has all the vital info in it) into the new version of the wallet that is downloaded?

Thank you to everyone who helps,

G.P.

In case of update, which branch should I checkout for building?
For example now there are 2 branches: origin/v2.2.0.0 and v2.2.0.0 and respectively origin/v2.3.1.0  and v2.3.1.0

Basically, it's the same branches. And i think, you should just checkout master to avoid such questions Smiley

Hi, don´t you know where is problem?

Mining is not possible until the problem is fixed.
Just wait for an update.

thank you.

It's strange because it's connected to my friend wallet and it works now.
I wanted to try arcpool.com and after 15 minutes back and lychebitt and it is not possible.
I think we should not disconnect lychebitt then back can not connect now

Hi,

I don't understand one thing : it is said that we must update our wallet BUT i don't did anything and my wallet is already in Solaris Core version v2.2.0.0-afc402a (64-bit).
On solaris website the wallet to download is the same v2.2.0.0 ? why they said we have to update our wallet as they made any changes it is the same version ?

It will be update to ver 2.3.1, now its in testing on pools
And your wallet can be updated from here:

Good news from Telegram @viscolex:

Quick update. We got a solution and released a fix. We are now working with mining pools to get the chain moving. They are currently trying to find the next block of 130117, due to high difficulty it might take some time.

Once the block is found and chain is moving we will make an official announcement and release updated wallets.

Thank you. I can't wait to update my wallet now.

Looking at the chart of XLR today, it really hit the old peak recent days. That is really good news for Solaris holders, investors. Congratulations.

I found the answer I'd like on the front page: Solaris is going a step further to consolidate this privacy feature by incorporating the ZeroCoin protocol.
