How much votes should be enough?

Right now no one knows, we just need people to keep voting and also commenting. Solaris is currently 19th which is good considering the suggestion was just made a few days ago so we have done well so far. I hope we see over 500 votes soon and over 50 comments.

@lankyman   You will need a stratum for that.
Getwork is not supported . So yes you can solo mine, but you'll need a local stratum.

After reading the information on the solaris coin site, it does say that Nist5 "was" and Xevan is "now".

Okay now i can understand why the hell this was not working after all.

Digibyte kept the multi algorithm which confuses less people.

How the hell do you SOLO mine, now is it the same as the old comments in this post thread?

sgminer.exe -k xevan -o 127.0.0.1:18921 -u solarisuser -p solarispass -T --verbose

[22:47:59] Probing for an alive pool

[22:47:59] 127.0.0.1 slow/down or URL or credentials invalid
[22:48:14] Received kill message

I dont understand why SOLO mining is a pain to get working.

[22:47:59] 127.0.0.1 slow/down or URL or credentials invalid   <--- as far as i know this is a warning, not an error.

something crapy is happening here:
[22:47:59] HTTP request failed: The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found
[22:47:59] Closing socket for stratum 127.0.0.1
[22:47:59] Closing socket for stratum 127.0.0.1

Really having a headache with this

Unless you have allot of GPUs to point at it solo mining would be a complete waste of time.... I'm not sure if it's even supported to begin with, but what version of sgminer are you using?

Hello, can somebody please assist with this issue which persists ?
Solaris Developer, please?
I see many people still asking about this?
Why is it so hard to get an answer , i want to contribute to this coin and its network, and i am willing to pay donation.

There has been claims that people could withdraw yesterday but not today on Koinbi, and as I understand the HOLD coin can be withdrawn.

dev/admin of Koinbi has not responded on the bitcointalk koinbi thread yet, nor pm's

I have some vague hope that they are simply not working today and may be tomorrow things will be back to normal, may or may not happen.
Just wait. If they scammed, you lost your money already. If not, they will come back, and your money will be safe.

Let's send your request to Koinbi exchange.

That looks shady af....

I wont use new exchanges until theyve been around a while.
Besides... whats the point of beeing listed in a bunch of shit holes?

Aim higher.
Work for it.

hi all,

There is a guy who said that Koinbi is a scam site. I cannot find the information which can demonstrate he tried withdrawing his ZECs. So the information need be be re-checked carefully. Anyway, wait till the right time, do not send your Solaris to Koinbi at the moment.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2457397.120

I sent some XLR to Koinbi and tested withdraw:

Withdraw ID    Time                            Address                            Amount    Tx Fee    Status / Action
118                    2017-11-26 11:53    SVUP5STS5gxVz1p5jtac...    0.0997    0.0003    Processing

Been 'processing' for about 15 minutes now.

Can anybody tell if the software they are using is fairly standard or more custom ? If it is a scam, I would not expect too much custom code/layout for a scam mechanism where people can deposit but not withdraw as the news would spread pretty fast...

I would like to inform you that I did not apply for coin listing on "Koinbi" -  be careful because it is a new exchange. You will use it at your own risk.

Already voted for Altcoinexchange and as for the koinbi add give them a chance so far no problems with my withdrawals; but an exchange is an exchange. Waves and ETH are listed on yobit and are still going strong with millions in volume a day and no exchange is more openly shady and welcomes scam coins then yobit so just because a coin is listed on a new or shady exchange does not mean the coins reputation will suffer plenty of people scam surf and once they see this one they will instantly recognize the value of XLR thats how I actually found this coin!  Grin Cheesy
Hi thanks for the news. Does Koinbi work for you (withdrawals)? Thank you again.

mine safe o/
at the moment the best exchange https://yobit.net, trades on USD, DOGE, ETH, WAVES!!!!!!!!
Bittrex is the largest on, for now. We should apply to be listed on Bittrex. Anyway, Yobit is good too. I have never got trouble with Yobit.

Apply to Bittrex? Good luck with that.
They did not even listed coins like BTX.
The best possible exchange for XLR now is Cryptopia, but it's not for free.
