Any that read 25 amp and 5 volt  Should run 40 sticks  after 40 it is a crap shoot.  If you can wait until weds the low cost one from mcmelectronics.com comes to my house .

I will post results.  It would be about 14 plus 10 to ship. with code AFC909.  I have used mcm since the 1990's they are okay.

I built MCM's search engine, ha.  Its funny to see websites you have worked on over the years pop up.

Actually they recently left our company, but I worked on their search and navigation for years....

I went to the site this morning they still have   148 of them in stock....

      http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/58-12860   13.59  after  CODE AFC909  about 10 to ship

I am sure this thread is why they dropped from 173 to 148 ...

I should get a commission LOL.

It is coming today.  I also ordered a second one from them   this one

http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/58-9787   17.67 AFTER  CODE  AFC909

it cost more with the code  AFC909  it is 17.67  ABOUT 10 TO SHIP.

there are 23 of these in stock.    These stayed flat at 23 as I did not mention this link.  Since they are 4 dollars more  and the rail rates at 32amp 5 volt.

Both arrive today ups is scheduled for 2-6 pm  east coast time.

The 30+ amp isn't delivering!!?? Seriously? False advertisement or bad PSU?

false advertising in my opinion.   these units are so lightweight.    I can't see how they could be rated correctly.  these 2

http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/58-12860

http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/58-9787

weigh less then this one

http://www.directron.com/hale82650m.html        the nzxt alone  weighes in about at  6 lbs the 2 from mcm together weigh about 5lbs.

mcm is okay but can be a crap shoot.  looks like these are snake eyes.   unless you just want 30-34 sticks

This PSU looks very promising, and it helps that it's really cheap. Let us know how it goes.

Technically you need around 24.5 amps at 5v. That has 25 amps at 5v... However you need some wiggle room, I wouldn't trust that to run a full 49 miner setup.. PSU's are often overrated in what kinda of power they actually make.

This is a good & cheap option for power, 32amps at 5v, I bought one for my pc build a couple weeks ago from here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=151146545085&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

Are these back in stock yet? I'd like to purchase one.

Crazyguy is on the ball!  Looking forward to getting my new Hub and sticks.

Nice setup btw Phil.  Any good, old server PSU suggestions that have enough power on the 5v rail to run these?  Makes me wish I'd kept some of my PSU's from the original AMD Athlon days when we needed the beefy 5v rails.

Every order placed so far, including phil's, is ready to go. I am out of USB sticks but will be receiving more later in the week. At this point I have a few usb hubs I can sell for 1.1 BTC a piece.

I'm interested on a hub, how do I order?
