I agree with you,in order to increase bitcoin popularity, price and volume we need to get more businesses to accept it as a payment method. In my city I don't think there are any shops that adopted it. But the good part is that I see more and more bitcoin ATMs being installed in almost every neighbourhood.

Spending does really need to be done by most of us because that helps the adoption of bitcoin. And what do you think if most of us will just hold?

There are probably 2 results that will happen, death of bitcoin and total wipe out of its popularity or demand of bitcoin will increase.

And that's a good indication that there are bitcoin people in your neighborhood because of those bitcoin ATM.

Bitcoin ATM's a great to help get a bit of public awareness and help a few people get there first coins but the markup some of these machines charge for the convenience means that most people soon either stop using bitcoin or get more involved and find an exchange to purchase btc from.

To grow the adoption of bitcoin we need people spending it as a daily currency.
In my country there is not much I cant buy with bitcoins.
Granted not a lot of retailers accept BTC yet but with all the services available now they dont need to.
A bitcoin debit card can be very handy.

Nowadays if I need to pay a bill then I can pay any bill via a site called livingroomofsatoshi

Please list any reasons why you could not use bitcoin for day to day expenses and maybe we can find a way.

If it's hard to use bitcoin directly used it in other thing . Like i am doing , i use coin,ph an app to convert bitcoin , pay bills or convert it as a load. It's a wallet at a same time so you can save money there. Or in your case you can trade bitcoin to money to use it somehow Smiley And i suggest you no to rush spending your bitcoin. If you have time invest it to earn more or start trading . If you earn more , in the future no doubt that there's a time that more business and companies will be open on accepting bitcoin that's the you can spend well.

Well we can't really live with just bitcoin itself we also have to convert it first to Fiat,
then we could use it to buy any stuff that we want but who know's maybe someday we could use bitcoin as payment for everything.
yes most of the people are dong the same job. as bitcoin can be use as currency in very limited area. while in some area bitcoin is really using as fiat currency, as some shops accept bitcoin for shopping , but in majority of place bitcoin the facilities are not available to use bitcoin for shopping in local shops.
in current time i am not going to sell my bitcoin because the price of bitcoin is increasing too much and very soon the price of bitcoin can every cross 1200 USD level therefore i even cannot think about spending my bitcoin.

Yeah, currently thats how it works to be able to spend it. i usually spend my btc by loading my phone and paying my monthly bills, i have a friend accepting btc as payment she's selling pre loved clothes.

I hope that the stroke difficulties in using Bitcoin will soon cease to exist, and each of us can easily spend a Bitcoin.
Now these services are not yet very well developed

As long as bitcoin is not introduced widely in a region or country you can't actually use it like fiat currency.Your option will be limited unless you convert it to any local currency. As I live in Bangladesh,I ain't sure if 10% people knows about it.So I have to buy things online where bitcoin is accepted either I need to exchange for Bangladeshi currency. For this I have to pay a good amount as fee for this exchange. As long as bitcoin is not adopted by mass population things will go like this.

you can use bitcoin wallet for your smartphone as a replacement of a debit card, in my city there are no stores accepting bitcoin payments and the country doesn't accept bitcoin as legal currency takes high risk to create a store that accepts bitcoin
You do not just rely on bitcoin as your means to transact business, you can have a store that accepts fiat and bitcoin at the same time. I guess there would be no problem with that. I understand bitcoin in your country is not yet highly recognize, but it's about time to be positive, over time people will be aware, just believe on that to happen.

I rarely spend Bitcoins for the reason that I now consider cryptocurrency as an investment. I plan to cash Bitcoin after 1 - 2 years.

I want to save my bitcoins as a wallets and when i need for money then exchanged with our traders as a real money.
Absolutely, there is no use if you will just keep your bitcoin and you have no plan of cashing it out. However, if we really are investors, we have to aim to grow the value of our bitcoins, the current price surge would tell us not to sell and hold a little bit. There's a bigger profit that is waiting for us, we just have to be patient.
I see a lot of people having that idea and quit to be honest I personally thought that way for a long time but then I came to the realization that it be most profitable for us to be using bitcoin as method of payment rather than having to exchange it into fiat, there are other option like using bitcoin debit card but those take monthly fees, we want to use bitcoin when we ant and we here we want.

I agree that bitcoin is not so popular in India at a moment and there are no places to spend bitcoins directly but how can you say that price has gone down and it has no potential in it? Just look at the price what it was in the last year and what it is today you will see major growth in the price of bitcoins and it will continue to happen even in future when bitcoin gets more older and older.
That's because bitcoin does not only circulate in India, it's a global currency and there is a huge demand of bitcoin than in your country. Small countries will follow big countries and it might not be popular now in our country, but overtime, we will experience the benefits of spending our bitcoins to buy our needs and wants. When that time happens, the value of bitcoin might be big already as it increase as time passes.
It is true that the bitcoin is not yet popular in some countries, there are people who never even heard of it, and if you ask me some of the third world countries barley have access to the internet so how do you want them to use bitcoin, maybe bitcoin will become something like PayPal in the future making the use of money on the internet easier but nothing like replacing fiat money.
