We are happy to share with you inspirational story about recent winning at SportBet.One! In our review we'll walk you through all the steps how it happened: https://sportbet.one/blog/win-review/
Man, I once won a hundred bucks and thought I was the king, but this guy nailed 30 grand... Talk about luck!
I usually read reviews on https://www.trustpilot.com/review/sportbet.one, https://www.covers.com/betting/reviews, https://cryptomaniaks.com/eos-betting-sites, and recently I started checking out https://safehamsters.io/sportbet-one-review/, but maybe you got any other go-tos?
You could also browse through this forum or ask around on Reddit. Loads of firsthand reviews on just about every sportsbook or casino out there. But sometimes the bad reviews are more about sore losers than the sites being trash, so double-check all reviews, ask around, and weigh your info. It doesn't bulletproof your play, but it sure helps dodge scamming.

Well, it's not all about luck. You gotta pick a trustworthy bookmaker, and SportBet.One turned out to be just that, so you don't get scammed. Plus, managing your starting funds is key. Know your bets and your limits. Then, maybe, luck will come into play.

Feels like these tales are just hype for sketchy betting sites and casinos. How do we know it's legit?
If it's legit, they'll share details about the wins. Take SportBet.One – they've got player screenshots, Telegram chats with support after a win, and it's a decentralized platform, so bets go through blockchain transactions. Big wins often hit the site news too.

I've had the same problem with sportbet.one
Mine started over a year ago, followed self exclusion protocol and waited 5 days and account still allowed me to sign back in and continue to gamble.

Complained as i lost thousands and they only offered $1000 back due to their failure in responsible gambling.

They told me to create a new account with them to receive the funds, and even offered me a bonus to keep playing, all this is after explaining to them my addiction. Ive emails, live chat logs etc to evidence this.

Since then ive used the account with them during relapses, as you can always keep opening it. Its a real problem for gambling addicts such as myself. They say they cant block IP addresses, yet they can see from others when they've abused bonuses etc.

The company is extremely immoral, ive a history of begging them to block accounts, which just got ignoref for months and cost me thousands.

Please, anyone with sense, stay away!

Complete scum website. I asked to close my account immediately, was told I must wait four days, and that was the only way to close my account. Obviously lost a stack to them like an idiot afterwards. Point stand that this is a scumbag way to operate. Avoid everyone.
What's the reason for asking to close your account? Isn't it possible for you to just withdraw all your funds if you don't want to gamble anymore? And you blame to them you lose your money because you probably got tempted to bet? Please enligten us, because if that's your case I don't see it's appropriate to call a casino as a scam or scum (what you call it, it's still negative).

I wanted to lock in a win. I'm not blaming the website and I did not lose too much, but if someone requests to close their account they should be allowed to do it immediately. If the website has a policy you can make another one if you do not 'self exclude' then that is fine. I think the four day wait to close an account is something that should be changed.

I don't get it, please elaborate more.

You wanted to lock in a win, so you'll not be tempted to gamble and just withdraw it? Or what? I mean, what's the reason for locking an account if you will just gamble anyway, just withdraw it and be back later. After all the control is yours, the biggest sin a casino would do is if they'll freeze your funds and will not allow you to withdraw, this thing seems not really a problem for most gamblers.

I get your point, you probably have a problem with controlling yourself, correct? so you want them to close your account immediately but they didn't give it to you, instead they'll make you wait for 4 days, and that is your main issue, right?

Well this is a shame if it's true

Is there any particular reason they gave you as to why you had to wait for 4 days and not immediately

I read through their responsible gambling link - https://sportbet.one/responsible-gambling
and this is what they partly say

The cooling-off period

We introduce a crucial first step for users considering a break from gambling. Upon receiving an email request for account closure, sportbet.one doesn't just snap the door shut. Instead, we initiate a 24-hour cooling-off period. During this time, the account and any linked accounts are temporarily disabled, putting a halt to all gambling activities. This pause provides a moment for reflection, an opportunity to consider the decision without the immediate pressure of gambling options at your fingertips.

Tailored self-exclusion durations

After the cooling-off period, sportbet.one takes a personalized approach to self-exclusion. Our support contacts you to confirm the preferred duration of wagering self-exclusion. Choices range from as short as one day to as long as permanent exclusion, with several options in between, including one week, one month, three months, six months, and one year. This flexibility allows you to choose a timeframe that best suits your needs, ensuring that the duration of the break aligns with your personal journey toward healthier gambling habits. The firm commitment to fixed periods ensures a clear and structured path, free from ambiguity.

Are you trying to say you never even got that immediate 24 hour cool off period?

i'm sure they would say i asked live chat to 'perminently close my account' and not self exclude, but no, no cooling off period. You are told by support to go to a 'request self exclusion button' which then takes 4 days to take effect during which you can click a button and use your account. I went back to support after seeing the four days asking for it to be done now, they said no.

It's pretty clear that he is a gambling addict which is why his anger seems justified in this case.
That's why I just want to clarify what really was the problem as this is the ANN thread of a casino, we don't want to see some newbies trying to ruin it just because they were addicted in gambling and the site was delayed in closing them. I was also addicted before but it has not come this worst that I have to blame the casino for my mistakes.

The mistake lies on both sides here. The site messed up by not closing your account immediately while you messed up by not controlling your addiction. Seems like they don't have a proper self-exclusion system in place.

why is no SBET trading available on newdex or defibox?

The company is supplying liquidity only for our primary listing on https://www.coinstore.com/#/spot/SBETUSDT?ts=1710338700437

In the past, we had SBET on newdex and defibox but those exchanges decided to remove SBET due to it's gambling nature.

Well, the review does have those transaction links, and I snooped around their Telegram channel. The dude was there, griping about a payout delay. From what I saw, he did get his cash, but why the holdup?

In case of large winnings, the delay of withdrawals is a standard procedure. This is due to verification and security rules. The player received his winnings within a day, which is actually quite fast, because according to the rules of most bookmakers and payment systems, such transfers can take several days or even a week

How common is this stuff, though? This review is cool and all, but what if it's just a slick ad trick? Sometimes these stories are just for show, you know?
Could be, but hey, I once pocketed $2000 myself, so maybe there's some truth to this review
