I can’t bring myself to sit through a football game, American or International. I think they are both dreadfully boring. Same with baseball to be honest. I’ll go to a game, but it’s to drink and enjoy sunshine. I don’t really care about the game. Hockey is alright to watch, but honestly, basketball is the only sport I really enjoy watching. Maybe a good MMA fight. Other than that, watching sports is just sort of meh…
I think I started enjoying some of the sports that you said after watching films. American Football, for example, is the movie The Longest Yard (comedy) starring Adam Sandler. A football game of the prisoners against the guards. That's also the movie that me learn about the rules of football.
What I cannot enjoy the most is golf and tennis. I think they are super boring games without physical contact. I like contact sports more especially basketball of the 80's and 90's, it's different now but it's still there. That's why up until now I keep on betting on those games to add more spice while enjoying watching.

It's crucial to bet on sports you enjoy and understand. Without that, you might end up just chasing losses or making random guesses, which often leads to losing money.

what if the person don't watch it but look at the data and bet based on statistics?
we can't be sure but maybe there's a way to find a profitable possibility over the long run doing that
even if you don't like or watch the games
what do you think?
Sure, relying on stats means understanding what data matters most for predicting outcomes. It's less about emotions and more about staying disciplined and avoiding spur-of-the-moment bets.

It seems to me that if you are not passionate about a certain sport, or especially if you do not like it, then you will not be able to earn money by betting on this sport. You cannot delve into a sport that you do not like, and if you do not know in detail what you are betting on, then the probability of losing will be even higher. Therefore, we will choose the sport that we like to watch, even the one we watch without betting, this will already dispose to know about the teams and assume possible bets.
Not entirely true mate, I've won from basketball too and I can testify to you that I don't know anything nor even the names of the teams, I just hoped in there and made a few elections and got green. It's all about luck. The first time I won from football betting, I literally did not even know much about the platform, I selected a few matches for win and BTS and made a lot of money.

If I do not watch hockey, then I will never bet on this sport.
sometimes certain conditions can make us bet even on sports we do not watch, for example, if you've a friend who bets and wins consistently on hockey, would you not demand he shares his booking codes with you? And if he agrees and gives them to you, would you resist betting on those nice codes simply because you don't watch them?.

Mnk likes eSports events because there is an interesting intensity of passions. There, guys compete in who thinks and makes decisions faster. And this is a common feature with regular sports. That is why the word eSports contains the word Sport, and I absolutely do not understand how one can not perceive this magnificent game as something frivolous.

Everyone has heard what huge prize money there was at the International, it is millions of dollars for each person from the winning team, and thanks to this, one can definitely say that this is a promising direction.

I have few sports I don't usually like not that there is something wrong about them but just that I don't have much pleasure giving my time to watch them especially Rugby sports, is a game injury can be very easy to have because of the strength involves, Tennis is another one I enjoy less and I don't no if I would call it difficult game or an easy game, however I like Volleyball because of how they made it very portable and can be played both land and water because a lot of people use to play it on the swimming pool just to have fun but Soccer is certainly above all others depending on the participation of the person.

this will make you hate watching anything that should be entertaining you. If you cannot process the fact that you are just gambling mindlessly compared to seeing how you are gambling, you need to reevaluate yourself and know that you could get to enjoy what you’re doing. It is hard to rely on blank knowledge of a sport because it won’t help you win a lot.

I think there’s no point in betting if you don’t know what you are doing.
It's like throwing money away if you don't know the match, then it's useless to bet on the end it will lose more while you don't enjoy the bet because you don't know anything.

So I myself bet on sports from the field that is understood, for example, football is one of the most favorite sports, so here I often bet because I already know what to do and look for research about the match, because it is a favorite sport, looking for any information will be fun not so boring.
Some people seems like to play on the sport that they don't know because they want to place their bet while they already place their bet on their favorite sport. They think that this time, they depend on their luck by placing in unknown sports and just pick the team or player randomly. I think that is okay as long as they can accept anything that can happen to them and losing their money so they can place in any sports they want. Sometime I also do that if I don't see my favorite team play but I really want to place my bet.

what about you?

My favorite sport are baseball, football, tennis, and probably boxing and I bet on the relevant events more than often. What I don't like are those sports that are from the class of winter competitions either team except hockey  or individual. I never bet on them sure, hockey is exception from this rule because it is very boring for me to watch its activities.

P.S. I also don't enjoy the athletic sports.

this leads me to thinking whether do people bet on sports they do not enjoy or are not a fan of? maybe there are people out there who are just really in for the money and they would bet on sports that are popular and they have a bigger chance on winning at even if they do not particularly enjoy them

personally i can't imagine having to sit and watch and analyze countless of matches of a sport i do not enjoy watching just to bet on them

what about you?
As a gambler you need to watch what you're gambling, you not watching your fans, how will you know their strengths of their performance, like me, theirs bet we call bet for free, so such kind of bet you have no prediction and you will be ready to accept anything you see on the process, so I think that such kinds of bet you are not sure of your bet, but a process whereby you watch your fans and watch other people whenever their are playing, that will give full courage to bet, because you have already know their performance and their fault, and will make you to know the clubs that you will bet them to win or to lose.

This is basically how most gamblers choose their best sports or most frequent sport game. The thing I've actually come to notice is that majority of gamblers that only place bets they are sure of and literally are not into copy betting, they usually opt in to place bets on games that they will be available to watch and that in fact is what makes the bet interesting most times.
This post reminds me of a thread raised by a member here too where he was more like don't bet on tennis. Of course he gave his reasons but it was mostly because he didn't understand the game of tennis much especially the rules.

It's not wrong, because even though we bet on sports, it doesn't mean we have to watch the match. After all, it's been a long time for me also not to watch sports matches that often because ofcourse, it would be more often for us to only see the results and some goal highlights. But even so, the fact is that I can still continue  to bet, because in this era there are many platforms and sources that can be used for a prediction. Thus, there is no obligation for us  to watch all the matches to get information for a team that we bet on  or will bet on.

i both understand but as a football fan this shocks me

i do think football is exciting however from a non fan perspective i can see how a 90 minute match with players just passing the ball around and making a goal of only one or two times the entire match can be quite boring especially if you do not know much about the sport

Those who bet on sports they don't like do so blindly and make the chances of losing even greater because of their lack of in-depth understanding of the sport, just like you, I also think such betting is just a way to throw money away because the chances of winning are very unlikely, in my opinion, for those of us who do want to win it is better to bet on the sport that we do know how the rules of the game are, so that we can make rational bet based on more real data and statistics, so that at least it can be a reference for us even if it is not 100% guarantee to win.

There may be people like that where they insist on betting even if they don't like the sport or even if they've never seen the sport but I think it's something that shouldn't be done in the end.

Even though they might do some analysis and whatnot before they bet, it's still a different feel and you can't really express yourself well in gambling when you're forced to gamble but you don't like the sport and don't know anything about it, so it's just a condition that doesn't seem to be based on a feel where you're doing research but just based on randomly looking at the quality of the probability and I don't think that's a good thing to do.

there are gamblers who prefer to bet on sports that they themselves do not know at all, the reason is because it allows them not to think too much and only focus on which team they think can win based on their feelings. this is indeed riskier to bet like that ... because when gamblers do not know anything about the sport, they only rely on feelings and do not rule out the possibility that they could have a big chance of losing, so for gamblers who bet with this style their chances of going bankrupt are higher if they do not manage their bankroll well.

That will be foolish for a person to bet for a game that he does not have knowledge about or even enjoy a bit of it. It's blind betting even if let's say he did make some research and a little bit of reading. What that gambler would be doing is just fooling himself forcing his way to something that he doesn't have any idea about. Let's not do that.
There's a big difference of being a betting sports fan than being a gambler who is just chasing his losses and was forced to bet on a game that he doesn't like. It will just end up losing more money.

Perhaps it all depends on your interests and what attracts you and evokes some emotions. The emotions of fans of sports competitions are some of the most stormy and interesting emotions in general on the events that happen around you. For example, there are such people, fans of fine art, who can enjoy watching a single painting of some famous artist for hours. And at the same time they get a huge thrill from it. Many may find this strange, but these are quite normal people. It's just that their priorities in life are set on what brings them pleasure.
