Looks like they will be skipping it aswell as the latest one will be for matches on the 19th so not this weekend but the next:
I guess I got a whole week plus to refresh my brain huh after losing 3 rounds in a row. It was horrible of me, I really thought I would atleast get something back from the previous round after most favourites ended up winning on Saturday.
No way the EPL will be losing in court? Yeah they have all the money to afford the best lawyers in the U.K but that is not always the case. Just look at the what happened to the owner of the WWE who had all the power and money but ended up losing his case in court.
Well its City we are talking about as a whole organization which also includes their oil money investor behind them so yeah. Now that City know that the court is trying to hunt them down, they would be pretty careful in future to cover this thing up. I would love to watch City got relegated if they are guilty with all those charges but probably its not happening
But they are losing this one in court.
One way or another. Too much money at stake for all those teams and those stadiums to not have it in favor of those teams at this point in time.

Osimhen was on loan from Napoli a month ago which I didn't even realize he was playing on a Turkish team til viewed  these articles:

Both these matches today ended in a draw.
What a worse result to have for those who were still in the Predictor pool to have.
The last match for this Sunday are Brighton vs Tottenham which just began about 10 minutes ago.
But those two draws really killed those who needed atleast two to gain a prize from this week's competition.
I hate red cards, we ( Chelsea ) could have won that game if the red wasn't given, it's always nearly impossible to break a low block team with less than 30mins to play. The red flushed them back.
Tottenham are not beating the bottler allegations anytime soon. Those lots bottled a 2:0 lead and ended up losing.
Well to hell with those matches then. Also if they will be doing UEFA Nations League games for the Jackpot @ralle14 then we might as well skip them.

The bigger news in the EPL is off the pitch:

Chelsea, Newcastle & Everton were all backing behind City on this verdict since they are affected by it.
With Leicester City winning their case against the EPL last week this was going to happen.

That news from the Premier League versus the owner of Manchester City was a real bummer and the tribunal's verdict was for both parties winning over commercial deals I really think that they should not have any argument like this at all as both need to verbally tell the other what is the problem as the Premier League should not or let a club benefits over a commercial deals which I found really amusing although I haven't understand most of the part but pretty much a club and the League should not have any problems regarding this as for the Tribunal to step in and work out a way in solving both parties problems,

I thought both had claimed victory over commercial deals but anyway watching the video it seems the most benefit was for the Premier League for sure as they are the ones giving the rules and the APT system will continue to operate however the Tribunal has to identify a small number of discrete elements of the rules which do not, in their current comply with the competition and public law requirement.

The Premier League should stick its corruption and unfair financial transactions in their ass. Who cares? I love how they're being exposed by City and other bluesides. I knew we'd be teaming up with City after almost missing out on the front of jersey sponsorship this season. We played a portion of the preseason and league games, as well as the most of the season, without the jersey sponsorship.

The red cartels (Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, and co) are envious; the current business model does not benefit them. That's three charges dropped; we're looking forward to the main event next month.  Grin

Well, I havent really check the match that they are putting on the jackpot round but idk man but isnt it supposed to be way easier on these games? We might have few favourites against non favourites on these games. I guess I'll make up my mind after I take a look at them, I might need some break as well after losing for the last 3 jackpot rounds lol.
There is no way that they are losing in court. They have the best lawyer money can hire and of course they could always bribe anyone that hinder them

Just look at the what happened to the owner of the WWE who had all the power and money but ended up losing his case in court. Sorry but just finished watching the documentary on the NetFlix called Mr. McMahon and after watching that it just goes to show you no matter how much power you have in a company (that being your own) it can be all taken away from you.
It was brilliant how it was done too. TKO(merger with the UFC&WWE) essentially forced him out of his very own company since he signed an agreement which was his death warrant.

I couldnt check my results, I tried to check the history but it isnt there.

I think I got 5/7 for the first 7 games then the last 3 were pretty horrible for me iirc about my selection then its either 5/10 for or 6/10. Horrible, another horrible week. I was laughing that with the last 3 games ( 2 favourites ) and already gotten 5/7 on Saturday, I thought this would be a great week for me to get atleast 7/10 but oh well shit happened I guess

Those last three matches were so unfortunate, Aston Villa only had one SOT against a shaky United team and Forest held Chelsea to a draw while they were a man down.

Then the Spurs allowed Brighton to shift the momentum by scoring three quick goals in the second half to ruin my final hope of getting the minimum reward.

I might skip this week's jackpot if they'll use the Nations League matches as the alternative.

So ralle14, it looks like all the favorites won their matches today except for one. That one was going to end in a draw.
Don't know how many are left in the competition with their all correct record today.
There might be a few.
Most of them delivered, but there's still a couple that got away like Leicester beating Bournemouth and the Newcastle match ending in a draw due to missing a crucial penalty.

Ipswich also failed to hold West Ham so I only got 4/7 correct predictions. If all favorites win tomorrow, i'll be happy to end the round with 7/10, but it's too easy to assume all three will win.

Ten Hag's LAST Chance! ASTON VILLA vs MAN UTD Goldbridge Preview

I posted something about Erik ten Hag in my last post and I said that if he ever loses the last two games, Porto and Villa, he might be fired/sacked by Man United. Fans are not happy anymore and I believe the owners and management will just accept what the fans are saying and fire him. He might have a great connection with them but fans are more important. They bring money.

I still see other fans who are supporting Erik but I don't think it's going to be long especially when they lose the Aston Villa game and I think they will lose it. Morgan Rogers. He plays an electrifying performance against Bayern Munich and there's Jhon Duran. Many fans including the video I shared is thinking they are going to lose that game.

This I didn't know either. Thought you were only eligible if you place a bet over 1.5 odds so to qualify for the pick-4 competition.
So yes, nice touch.

Didn't put a deposit quick enough so couldn't enter into this week's Jackpot in the EPL unfortunately.
As ralle14 had said earlier, this week's looks like an easier one than most of the in the past.
That is if all the favorites win their matches and if there aren't any draws.

First match of this weekend is starting in about half an hour from now:

Will Liverpool spoil the start of this one yet again just like Manchester City did last week with a draw?

Ipswich Town FC would be the one which can ruin that perfect matchday pick if you look at their record.
In their last four matches they drew them all!
Didn't realize this until I actually was even bothered to look them up on the table because of this discussion with you guys on here.
And to be honest aswell, West Ham ain't that great so they just might have their fifth draw inrow this weekend too.
Their match is the only one I picked as a draw, and i'm putting the rest of my eggs on the favorites. I think it's worth going against West Ham when this could be a letdown spot and Ipswich is starting to become the draw specialist.

Also, I only found out that participating in the Sportsbet Jackpot makes you eligible to submit predictions for their Pick 4 Win promo which is a nice bonus.  Wink

Winning the FA Cup against Manchester City saved him from getting sacked with Manchester united.
No doubt about that.
But we will see how they are doing when they face-off against Porto later on today in the Europa league:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/soccer/international-clubs/uefa-europa-league/fc-porto-v-manchester-united-66f9614c0d6af00001a56fd8

There was some talk about the court case against Manchester City and the APT on how this will change the rules if they win it.
This would mean that teams such as Newcastle will be able to pour as much money as they would want into their team.

Just imagine if a Saudi backed team would be able to put "Visit Saudi Arabia!" on their front jersey team kit as advertisement.
They could put billions into the club if they wanted too without any ill repercussions such as Manchester City has had done to them over the years.

Erik ten Hag's name is hot.

Why Haven't Man United SACKED Ten Hag?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a827YI_7F00

This article even enumerated all the losses of Manchester United just to point out the future of them is bad with Erik ten Hag.
Top 10 Manchester United lows under the doomed Erik ten Hag

Quote
10) Copenhagen 4-3 Manchester United (November 8, 2023)
9) Sevilla 3-0 Manchester United (April 20, 2023)
8 ) Manchester City 6-3 Manchester United (October 2, 2022)
7) Manchester United 1-2 Fulham (February 24, 2024)
...
1) Liverpool 7-0 Manchester United (May 5, 2023)
https://www.football365.com/news/opinion-top-ten-manchester-united-lows-erik-ten-hag-sack

But despite all that, the Man United bosses are still keeping Erik and they think that defeat against Tottenham is just a bad start. Still, there's a possibility that what others are thinking might happen especially if they lose both next game. Porto and Aston Villa.

Erik on the other hand is still optimistic that they will be successful this season.
He says, "Nothing is easy, but this is nothing for me to panic about."

Lets mark all the favourites for this round. Obviously its Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, West Ham for me. I would be picking 5 of them for sure. Ipswich was lucky on their last game but Im not sure if they could pull another stunt like that. So if these 5 ended up correct then all I gotta need is to pick 2 more winners for atleast 7/10 for $100

And to be honest aswell, West Ham ain't that great so they just might have their fifth draw inrow this weekend too.

But focusing on the one prize amount firstly is a good strategy going into these predictor pools:
Going for the 7/10 is probably your best bet on how to approach this promotion.
If you can manage to get those first few matches correct then target getting the $100 per competition.
Then you will be well ahead of the rest who are entering into these which seem to be getting atleast over 100 participants in the last three having run.

But if Manchester City and Liverpool manage to get another draw again this week, then that strategy is upended and a dud.

Great Analysis I also thought the same Ipswich Town FC against West Ham they might have a 5th draw in this match but well that is a maybe we got to see the gameplay of Ham first before saying something like that but in looking in the standings one can surely conclude something but I really like your analysis because West Ham is really not a pushover even though we can assume a 5th draw could be a great bet to try when the game started.

But I will take that advice of yours it is really viable but looking at a great bet because we already know what would happen in Liverpool VS Crystal Palace and it is one choice we can conclude for Liverpool winning but this is only Matchday 7 but there is a huge chance, and with Man City VS Fulham for me, this is a difficult choice in my opinion as Fulham can have their 3rd win streak or Maybe Man City can make it a draw if they look at the match difficult for them winning it and I can see Erling Haaland in action again.

Yeah exactly I mean as long as you can manage constant 7/10 atleast then its free money every week. Getting x5 on your $20 buy-in is absolute gold at this point. Everyone obviously hope to land that 10/10 but you know it probably will happen sooner or later to someone but honestly I cant imagine myself winning it so I'll stick with winning 7/10 atleast for most of the rounds  Wink
