The odds for pole position were like 2.75 for Leclerc and 3.00 for Verstappen. Leclerc was able to fight against Verstappen well in Q1 and Q2. But in Q3, Leclerc wasn't able to show the same performance. Verstappen was like flying after solving the problem he was having in 2nd sector. I tried Leclerc for pole in the pool but failed. Sad

I have Perez on podium too but he also messed up today.

By the way Piastri was really good today but he got a 3-place grid penalty for impeding Magnussen. The race is likely to be really fun.

Looks like it will be between Mclaren and Ferrari for the pole position.

Looks like McLaren is a heavy contender.Maybe I am dreaming but the glorious times and the battles between McLaren and Ferrari seem just behind the door.It also looks like the domino effect in the Redbull team is starting to be felt already with so many people,so many high profile people leaving the team.I guess it is not going to be that easy to win the title for Max this year if other teams keep improving while Redbull stays where it is and does not progress.

After seeing the FP3 finish I have gone for quite some radical picks in the race of tomorrow.I don't really care if I will only get 8-10 points at best if I don't pick anything,yet I don't care anymore what happens and if I reach the prize spots in the end,I simply am obsessed to beat the record points for a race.I see some solid performances from teams like Mclaren which should not go unnoticed to the careful eye and also Ferrari,I honestly don't see Verstappen having a great chance of making the pole position during today official qualifying and as such why not go for such radical choices which if hit right can make me near 25-28 points for the race,I know radical choices rarely hit yet I love to try.

This is also good for the pool here as if I see the practice of tomorrow morning before the official qualifying with the same type of results this mean that most of us in the pool will not go for a Max,Sergio one two and Leclerc,Sainz three four there,also we have McLaren and it also looks like Mercedes is bringing some signs of life here.

I think tomorrow the race can be won by Ferrari if they start from the front row and Max starts seventh or eighth from the grid,a good strategy can maximize even an one two finish by Ferrari that I don't know from how long is not happening.

Gasly didn't do too badly, he even managed to win a race with TOROROSSO the following year.

It's not yet decided, right? It's really an interesting lineup if it will change. They are all capable drivers as long as they have the right fit for the car. Sainz is still in question. I'm interested where he will go next.

I think this is because Albon was at Redbull once and there he made many mistakes to be replaced by Gasly within a season,for me that was a bad judgement from Redbull as surely the qualities of Albon can be seen,he always beats his team mate in qualifying and am not talking about the actual team mate who is not that great of a driver,even great drivers he usually has managed to beat them,also sometimes against Verstappen if I remember correctly,so this is a guy that F1 and the teams (except Williams) has done wrong to him,that is why he rewards Williams with such a long term contract and surely he is expecting something good from Williams when the new regulations come.Williams is not winning since the times of Montoya and Ralf Schumacher.

I do agree that it's exciting to see this kind of news with F1 knowing that it's going to change the tide or the narrative of the next season.

Domenicali gave an interview today before the next race in Imola and basically said without saying it that Imola will probably leave Formula One again from 2026.
He said it's not modern enough and there are many other countries and the US (other tracks) that could take its place.
Ok, formula one is increasingly American but at this rate in 10 years half the races will be in the States.

In another thread the user Distraction has already written about it with a reference to the new Ferrari updates for Imola, I always look forward to the Imola Grand Prix, a classic race track really oldschool, difficult to overtake but a mistake can end in the gravel. It's always nice to watch, even if some people think Imola is a boring circuit.

Yes, he always aims the top no matter what which I like in Verstappen the most. I'm also confident about Verstappen to get more concentrated in Imola. The mistake he made in Miami cost him a lot.

And yes, the Imola Grand Prix has been held for 3 times so far and the last 2 wins belong to Verstappen.

The other winner in 2020 was Hamilton while Mercedes were having their best days.
