I love the quick response and equaliser from Jordi Alba, it could have been worse Barcelona are to go behind at the Half Time, now I hope they can create better chances to get more goals, we've got to keep win these next few games.

two goals in Barca - Sociedad match, Sociedad scored first, but Barca is back in a jiffy, Alba scored for 1:1 at the moment
will be very interesting to see where Sociedad is this season, if they keep their point (or even three) on Camp Nou, it could be that they are heading to CL next season, keep it up

Of course. That's the only way to be "good" at any league, and that's a problem for most of us in Asia to be honest, it's impossible to watch all the games if we have a real life, but to be fair, I am pretty confident I know enough about my own team (Barca), and have been doing well up until this season on betting on them.

Rest of the teams though, I have to admit I'm just swinging for the bat most days. Thanks for the tip though!

Real won 3:1 and got me full 3 points today and nice amount on the ticket but it could have ended very differently. Bilbao got a red card in the early stages and Real dominated the match as expected but they weren't able to score a third goal to clinch it. Then in 92nd minute Bilbao had a great chance to equalize and I have no idea how Courtois managed to save that and from that save Real counter attack was lunched and they finally scored 3rd goal.

I'm not surprised about Celta win, but offcourse, 4:0 score is someyhing unexpected. Celta changed manager recently and achieved 3 win in a row after it.
My main problem this season in all pools - I'm struggling a lot to predict exact scores and it cost a lot points for me. When I get 1 or 2 exact scores per round, it's already not bad result for me .

there were goals last night, but only on one side, Celta scored almost all that they tried in first half, and that was enough for Cadiz to lose this match, must say that I did not expected that, especially after Cadiz score over Barcelona

I spend few minutes per pool, since it is not easy to predict right score (personally, think that it is pure luck to predict the right score) and I am following most leagues, so have basic feeling who will win the match

for pools, consistency matters most, you need to score points every week, and with few lucky right score guesses, you can take good points

actually, La Liga is the post pool for me, and it is all black/white for me, here am on the top, and in Calcio/Premier league on the bottom , but with short analysis, it is mostly due to number of exact scores, so pure luck in all three

It is different for me. I just pick all the results by pure gut feeling and I spend maybe 1 minute per pool. All that research is reserved for the games I actually bet on. Pools are actually a good way for me to judge if my analysis is on point. This one is a bit small for best results but our Premier League pool with 50ish participants is just about right.

For instance both to score on tonight game (celta - cadiz) is paying very good odds @2.12 and I was thinking whether to take it or not. Than I saw that most of you guys expect goals in this match and it was enough to clinch it for me.

You need to be more indulged in the league. For example, I don't watch Serie A much and have no idea how teams like Genoa or Benevento play so apart from 3-4 games, it would have been wild guesses for me if I joined Serie A pool. Hence, I restrained from that pool.

But La Liga for me is different, I regularly watch games for almost all La Liga teams so I can feel the soul and body of these games. Hence, I can more accurately predict La liga results than any other league. This week I spent considerable time making my picks and successfully predicted first win of the season for Huesca FC. I also predicted close-win for Sevilla and domination from Real Madrid which both turned out to be accurate as well. However, I was wrong on Barcelona (I thought they would score more) and Real Betis (whom I thought would win). But even after dominating the game, it ended in the first draw of the season for Betis.

Anyhow, on the contrary, I casually made my picks last week. I won't say those were random picks but instead of studying matches, I simply chose scorelines based on my past assessment of teams within seconds. As a result, I got well-deserved 'wooden spoon'.

So, my suggestion for you is to consider factors like head to head performances, formation home team using, how away team play in away games, is it enough to counter the home team's strategy, is any team missing major players, etc. This will hardly take 5-10 minutes but ensure more effective outcomes. Factors like current standings, performance in the league so far, etc. don't matter much. We saw this week how Eibar dominated Real Sociedad in away game.

Against Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid played surprisingly well. By looking at the shots they tried to take, you can see their desire to climb up the standings again. I hope they can get back into the top spot even though I know it is a hard wish to fulfill.

That perfect run had to end somewhere, though I really thought they would make the most out of the opportunity to make a statement in La Liga. Still, they're in pole position and have plenty more games to go. Plus Real and Barca have more than enough on their hands to keep them busy. Open season still valid!

There was a big change in the game when Koeman switched to 4-3-3 and just one holding midfielder in De Jong, that opened space a bit more for Barcelona and Messi himself, even though if leaves the team more open to counterattack, I'd rather see the team play more comfortably in attack, and I'm beginning to feel more comfortable with the young lads Pedri-Trincao-Dest and co.. The game was a much better display from Barcelona, especially after the break, but the scoreline didn't justify that.

I was already preparing to write another rant about Barca, but Messi saved from another embarrasement. But this win left my mixed feelings. We are struggling to score against mighty Levante - about what we can talk. On the other hand, today there was one big difference from previous terrible games of Barca. We totally dominated game, had plenty of good chances to score.
Next game will be big challenge - we will face Real Sociedad in mid-week round.

They have been unstable with mediocre and bottom clubs but when it comes to bigger opponents and when the match is a must win. They have so far performed well. I had a feeling they would beat Atlético Madrid regardless of how they played the match.

Another not so easy upcoming match is going to be against Athletic Bilbao. I still think they will deliver

I didn't expected such big dominance from Real Madrid today. They've been unstable this season so far, but now they have good period - wins in La Liga against direct competitors Sevilla and Atletico and crucial win in Champions league. Meanwhilwe Atletico suffered first defeat this season and probably it was their worst game so far. But they are still leading league.

At this rate, I don't know what to do. Spend time to make picks, no points. Pick everything randomly, no points. Wish I could see majority picks for Superbru but you can only use up free picks to do that.

Anyway. Tokeweed seems to be doing major surprises in this pool and in EPL pool;)

^ I expected the same from Barca last week but whelps, that didn't stop that from losing and crushing me everywhere.

I'm betting on Atletico to get this. And not just because Real Madrid is weaker these days but because Atletico are actually playing better every game, though they please really need to make up their minds about how they want to grab their points.

Ramos back and hungry though so even Real at above 2/1 just looks so good at home too!

Let's see about Barca odds tomorrow. For tonight, I'll stick to my current bets. Everything else is popping now haha.

I picked a 1-1 draw and well, am just like anybody who had forgotten to make the first pick. Not only you, this season is surely very unpredictable and therefore hard to make the right picks

I expect Real Madrid to play their hearts out and try to reduce that point gap. They have so far never disappointed when the match is a must win or of high priority.

I am happy with 10 points in each week, that is above average from anyone in the pool - think that 7-8 point average peer week would probably give anyone top 5 position in any pool

regarding tonight match, Valladolid had a good strike, but than had a home draw and lose from Atletico, it is a good chance for them to skip the relegation zone, and leave Osasuna there, since Osasuna is in really bad shape this days

this round will have 12 matches, with Barcelona and Real two times on the list, so it could be easier to get these 10 points, or even top yellow cap on above 20, due to number of matches

what you think on Atletico win in the derby, it would clear the season for them for a moment

Don't forget guys, there's a match tonight so put in your picks early. Real Valladolid home win I think? Hard to pick for me these days, it seems it's just impossible to predict the league everywhere. I've been sucking at everything even in Multi Masters.

I know this is not related to this pool but I am in pain from yesterday's defeat to Juventus. Not because Ronaldo "beat" Messi once more in different colors even with 2 penalties. Not because we even lost because we already qualified. But because we still did not find a way to play good football. We do not deserve to progress.
