I also was surprised when I saw it. I saw odds one or two days ago and it was completely different - Real Sociedad weren't such obvious favorites. But there was Covid19 outbreak in Granada and they were missing some players. So, I decided to change my inital prediction on Superbru from 2;1 to 3:0.

Then you still got the 1.5 points either way. Guess Granada really need their first eleven on the pitch to keep challenging for La Liga. Oh well =)

well, Valencia won. This is a scoreline i'd expect to see from the golden era Valencia during the early 00's, not from this Valencia that's on the brink of collapse thx to a terrible job from the board of directors...Man, a penalty hat trick and an own goal...the fck?  Huh

Ah yes, the days of Benitez, that was also my first intro to La Liga (only because I had friends with Real and Barca and here were the upstarts winning it all. How to win a game by a big scoreline without actually scoring from open play. Marvellous season of Sunday football haha.

btw, good job @casperBGD, 19 points in this round and Yellow Cap 👍

I just hope nobody tried to cash out big on them Smiley
I've learned to avoid Arsenal in my weekend bet slips. I rarely put money on RM 'cause i'm always biased. And AC Milan have a been shaky lately so i skipped them today. I'm safe (:

Can anyone tell me why Granada are 13/1 to win against Sociedad? I know they're not as good but both sides have been performing against expectations if we're honest. Tried to see online if they're not playing a full squad but can't see the news. They did so well already in Europa they can afford to try and win this, no? And they have been on fire since that 6-1 game haha.

4:1 for Valencia at the moment, WTF, is anybody watching this?
I started to watch it only from 2nd half when I saw result. Honestly, I didn't expected that Valencia are capable to make problems for Real. But seems that this season Valencia can beat anyone and at the same time lose against bottom table teams.
I have mixed feelings about this round. I'm happy for easy Barca win and that Real are losing. But I'm very sad that Ansu Fati got serious injury and we lost him for half season at least. It's huge loss for us...

great weekend for me in the pool, took three 1:1 scores exact, and have 19 points, with my team playing against Real tonight, could be some more points
as i checked, there was no 19 point yellow cap so far, first time that i had 2 slam points in one round

regarding Valencia and Real, have 1:2 as a score, but do think that Valencia could make to draw tonight, does not look that bad in first 15 minutes

Evening games were very good for the bookies:
Arsenal lost 3:0
Milan is losing 2:1
Real is loosing 4:1

I just hope nobody tried to cash out big on them Smiley

Called Barca perfectly with both to score bet, nothing better then winning your both to score inside first half. Barca 2:1 up at the moment, still a lot to play and Betis is giving their best to ruin the party.

Yeah, sometimes I like to do HT bets as well because there is something weird in the final injury moments of every game that has a way of screwing things up, but BTTS or corners or yellows inside 20 minutes? That's the way to go, if you like parlays thick and fast.

^ Grin similar bets I'm doing as well, when you're trying to find an odd to catch but the 1x2 has no potential
good pick
I was thinking to bet on over scored for Barca, but I avoid completely that match, didn't even looked at the final result by now  Cool

Waiting Atletico's win tonight, nearly done, at the moment '78 3:0

I will avoid those big games, Barca and Real are not showing their best performance at the moment
but there's always value if you know where you find it Wink I went with Barca -2.5 corners handicap in a single bet and it paid off. They always control the match at home and dominate their oponents who have no choice but to defend and concede a bunch of corners

I should've gone with Over 4.5 goals too, this was correct in their last 5 meetings prior to the match today :S

Messi finally scored from open play after 3 months, and despite him not playing in the 1st half, the team was pretty decent even though Griezz was meh in front of goal...all in all, good sensations before the international break

Barca's worth value, and so is Real, thanks to the shitty performances they've had either in the league or Europe recently. But yeah, I'm slowly weaning myself off Barca padding my parlays these days in La Liga (which helped me a lot last season). Except for right now of course, still over 1.5x

Not sure 5/1 for either Real Betis (vs Barca) or Valencia (vs Real) would have been good value either, or I'd have picked them each.

By the way Barca game will finish 3:1, I am perfect this week in my prediction and plan to continue it Smiley

Real was destined to be my top pick this week among all the leagues but now I am not so sure anymore. Valencia is terrible but covid had found its way in Real locker room. So far Hazard and Casemiro got positive test which already drops the value of backing Real drastically and we could easily have a couple of more positives before the game actually starts.

I will avoid those big games, Barca and Real are not showing their best performance at the moment, and I'm waiting for the lineups as well due the covid tests
I have a draw on today's match, Elche scored an early penalty, not bad for my pool prediction of 1:1  Cool

Very good pick there, I didn't know where to go either and most of the games this week is totally unpredictable. Time to bet against one of them I know, but my heart still is hoping for Barca win and Real lose/draw. Probably going to end up with simple handicap parlay for both opponents to hedge my usual Barca parlays...

What about Osasuna for 7/1 vs Sevilla, who just had a home trouncing by a weak French team?

Real is playing away to Valencia. Valencia has been terrible so far and I am thinking on backing Real to win in this match. I am bit afraid since I always lose the ticket when I put Valencia on it but I will give it one last chance here. That was a fair warning to all of you to skip this game and predict something other than Real win Smiley

would like to call it different, but Valencia does not play good enough this season, to even consider them to be a winner here, Real is not great, but in the La liga they play just enough to be on the top and would probably take points from Mestalla
nevertheless, still hope to see Valencia get better, but just as a fan, and will not put money on this one, even both-to-score does not seem secure, as Valencia could prove it wrong

on the other hand, seems that @1.65 on Sevilla does have value in it, Osasuna is solid team, but far from the one that should not lose in Sevilla, and this has more value than Real at the lower quote @1.55

Hey guys, new bunch of the games is upon us and I just made my predictions. First game is tonight and more than half of our participants have not made their picks yet. What is keeping you?

I am looking forward to both Barca and Real games this weekend.

Barca is playing against Betis which is very underrated squad for me. I really like Fekir and their old guard of players like Joaqin, they can score against anybody and I am looking to cash in on both to score in this game.

Real is playing away to Valencia. Valencia has been terrible so far and I am thinking on backing Real to win in this match. Did anyone watched Valencia - Getafe game? It was fun game to watch. Valencia were leading, but Correia got second yellow card on 56 minute. Then Valencia struggled and Getafe managed to equalize result and finally take a lead on 94th minute. I was happy because I predicted 1:2 Getafe win. But on next attack Valencia player fouled and penalty was given. There was a lot of drama and referee had to show some yellow and red card to Getafe players. And finally on 100th minute Valencia took a point from this game.

yeah, it was an intense last ten minutes, or few minutes and a lot of additional time
i had 2:0 for my team, and did not hopped that Valencia will scored second one, but hopped that they will keep 1:0 at the end, but after 1:1 everything fall apart, and it was pretty good that they scored for 2:2, although that was not suited your choice

would not comment on penalty, since i am a fan, so unbiased view is impossible

No, these games are all happening while I'm in bed but yeah judging from the highlights it looks like it was scrappy and fun at the same time. I think we can all agree Valencia are pointless to bet on this season unless the bookies start making them the big underdogs!

I went down to 6th place right in the middle for the pool. Guess my suckiness is now showing true colors;)

However, one thing is not good. Barcelona is still overdependent on Messi. As a result, Messi has to start every game - maybe potentially injury awaiting his Christmas. After all he's almost 34!

At least Griezman shows he can still score and even though Fati didn't get on target he still created chances and had some of his own. Dembele slightly rusty and yeah overall we still need to find a way to get guys like Frankie playing better to reduce the Messi overdependence. Last night we should have won, just a problem with getting the ball into the net. Sigh Barca!

I watched parts of the game yesterday and form what I have seen, Barca was actually much better side and should have won the game with couple of goals to spare. They just had some very bad finishes and they gave that away that soft goal in the early stages. That sort of bad days just happen in football and if I was a hardcore Barca supporter I would actually be quite pleased with yesterday performance.

What is actually happening with Ter Stegen? He was among top 3 goal keepers if not the best goal keeper last season. Hopefully he will be back for Barca soon. Neto actually played very well before this blunder yesterday, but Ter Stegen is another level and he would have probably kept out some of the goals conceded this last month.

So, last night we all raved about Barca pleasantly surprising us, finally coming good, and then we see Pique doing a suicide back pass to Neto... I think Neto shouldn't have been cheeky about it and just cleared the ball wherever, I mean why keepers want to dance around with strikers breathing down their neck I don't understand (yes, I know Alisson does it too haha).

Good thing I didn't Barca any of my parlays last night, seriously.
