Not a natural Catalan here but spiritual supporter of Barca. I guess you and me know the heartbreak for 4 seasons in a row now, it's like we love to go to Champions League to be humiliated by French, Italian, English and now German teams. And that is the life of a football fan. We live and die with our teams, no matter what.

Look forward to do better in this league than in EPL and CL where I'm bottom:p

My first and only team is NK Rijeka  than I have a few more teams that I love and support: Internazionale, Liverpool and Rayo
Why Rayo? well it’s a long story, but let’s say in a few words, is the complete opposite to Real Madrid

Being a culer, last couple of days were horrible for me. Can't tell you the mental pressure after seeing my favorite team getting smashed by German Giants by 8 to 2. But now I am ok and ready to support FC Barcelona once again. We won't let our team become Milan and support any kind of revamp team comes up with. Once a culer, always a culer!

Thank you Trofo for coming up with the prediction pool for La Liga. Last year, I joined Premier League pool hosted by hilariousandco but my favorite league is La Liga and prefer it over EPL any day. I can already see 10+ names in OP so it gonna be interesting competition. Beware people, I am La Liga expert and you won't find it easy to end in Top 3 playing with me.

I'm curious how did pick this team because they don't have significant achievements. For me Rayo is one of teams that I unlike most in Spain, after Real Madrid and Espanyol.
Any way, they were just 1 point behind promotion playoffs this year.

I think we all know answer . They are here to take money from sig. campaigns and they aren't ready to put their own money.

This sounds like a very fair deal, and I think it's great to give the sponsor some traffic so they feel it's worth it to sponsor us every season;)

"my" club is still in LaLiga2 (Rayo Vallecano), maybe next year will be promoted in the first league

I have put you on the list. Don't worry you will know when it starts, I will start collecting money if/when we reach 10 participants and probably sent a PM to all users who expressed a willingness to join. And we will get some extra traffic here in the tread before the actual league starts for sure.

If Bitcoin price stays how it is at the moment I am considering to put buy in on round number of 0.0025 BTC. That is just about something less than 30$. Sounds like a nice amount for the whole year of playing pool and especially now when we have sponsor. If there is 10 of that will result with a rewards pot of 0.035 BTC which is a little more than 400$ and is already a nice sum to win.

Rewards would be something like
1. 200$
2. 120$
3. 40$
overall best round result 40$

So, 3rd guy and the one with best round result get more than they paid for. Hopefully BTC will go significantly up in the next year and our rewards will be that much better. I will put out the "official" rewards as rounded BTC amounts after we start the pool so there is no confusion but they will be similar to those written above if we have about 10 players. If we get more players (15-20) I will add more paid places. Maybe first 5 or something.

Count me in please! I played the EPL pool last 2 seasons, and last one only the Champions League, Barca small fan here. Not a serious one like most people, just a regular supporter but ok why not, maybe I do better in a league I like watching the most:) But please remind us before we start ok?

Anyway, registering my interest here. I will probably be throwing money away even more than in the EPL pool, but since I'm so generous, I might as well support the gambling people in this forum;)

I think fixing the entry at 0.002 to 0.003 BTC would be good, giving BTC price. Heck if we ATH in September, that's going to be a $40 fee haha.

Also, regardless of whether I participate or not, I am also stating my intent to sponsor additional funds for my very small crypto business that I work on with a few others. It's not the best of times for everyone, even before the pandemic, but it's a small bunch of people doing their best to support the industry and a few freelancers all over the world, so I always do my best;)

I cannot put down a very hard number down, but I can say with some certainty that it should be BTC0.01 to the prize pool if we get 10 paying members, which I'll send to the host before the season starts. I can't promise much more BUT if I see participation from more established forum members, I will likely look to boost that amount.

Spread the word guys for this pool, next season will come sooner than anybody expects. For now the start date is set for September 12th, that is a bout month and a half away and we still have to finish all Champions Leagues matches before. That will be very short break for players from top tier clubs.

I will join the pool if there will be more then 15 interested participants, that would ensure that this would be interesting and fun to play. La Liga can't be worse next season then what it was this season for sure.

Although I barely join such pool, I am interested to join the pool this time. Looking for more participants. Would be great to see above 15 participants to have a better riding.
