(but yeah it's KTC who sticks to mind a lot).
KTChampions was outstanding last year. I think he had first prize of CL pool, then another significant position in PM pool too. I read in one of the post that he was collecting good prizes from other pools too like Bundesliga. We may feel excited about some users but it really is impossible to predict results as you want. It's purely luck I think. The research and analysis may help a lot but still it's luck.

I definitely noticed jayce and IIRC he wasn't a contender before.

I'm old so my memory doesn't really extend far beyond current season (but yeah it's KTC who sticks to mind a lot). Pools are luck, we generally agree. But for some able to maintain and even widen gaps, that truly is collective balls to go for unexpected scorelines.

but I mostly blame the problems with the VPN for making it hard for me to read the analytics.

It's really important you get VPNs that have servers near you, especially on TOR. I had VPN problems until moving west...

I think lady luck rotates each year. Last year she was having affair with KTChampions, they had a good summer together but this year she thought KTChampions lost his youth so she decided to move with Jayce. Give her good time brother 😉

Free VPNs are slow. I used to use free VPN and used to think that's working fine until I had a paid VPN. The difference is very clear. With a paid VPN you do not feel any difference between using VPN and the regular network.

If you look t the level of rivalry and supposed hatred between Sergio Ramos and Barcelona, and Lionel Messi in particular, I'm about the hostility in every match they played against each other which often leads to physical bruises of intentional gesture and always unremorseful about awful tackles that could cause a career threatening injury, you'd presume that Messi and Ramos would never have any respect for each let share a dressing and be highly professional about it as though they've never being on extreme opposing sides of heated rivalry.

There have been some speculations about how Sergio Ramos isn't being welcomed back well by Sevilla fans, I guess probably due to their history while he was at Real Madrid, but Sevilla as a club right now are in total disarray defensively since the beginning of the new season, If there any defender out there that his level of experience at all level could help them, even if it is mean to be just within the dressing room, Sergio Ramos by all means is one of such players.

That's the media and the fanbase that usually likes to make a lot out of the rivalry trying to paint Ramos/Messi as hateful of each ither. Not true, both are really professional and competitive, you see the same in some other sports, fighting or boxing, they look like they hate each other but in the end it is respect. If you don't respect your opponent you don't even try to tackle them Smiley You see this in football teams who look down on others don't even try hard.

Anyway, it's not my club anymore and Sevilla is in flux, I am now more concerned how to defeat Bellingham and even how to deal with Atletico!!

Yes, but some players just feel like they've had enough of touring and simply just want to go back home, hence why he chose to go back to Sevilla where it all started, and we've read the same of players like Ronaldo and Messi being the biggest last 2 decades saying their the home country and boyhood club is where they want to head back to when the time comes to draw the curtains on their illustrious respective careers.

Well Ramos made a lot of Arab money already in France and maybe like you said, no need to make more, just go back to where it all began. Perhaps after that he will retire to Arab anyway, why not?

He's the enemy because of Real but as a player, no matter the club, I always feel sad when their journeys don't end well. So it's nice so far to see this happen. Hope the fans don't mind Wink

Long season, I hope to mae up for lost points. Be brave and pick against Sevilla? Smiley

Sevilla is in the news lately, but not due to results
Sergio Ramos decided to go back and finish career there, instead picking Galatasaray for 10x money, or Saudi clubs for 20x something that will get in Sevilla, rare occasion in football these days

wish him good luck, and Sevilla will hopefully made some better results this season, after worst ever start
they also have weakest CL group - so maybe they can pass that group as well - as Troll Football pointed out, UEFA done everything they can for Arsenal to feel comfortable in CL, they even gave them EL group there - PSV, Sevilla, Lens

Lol I didn't notice this is the LaLiga thread, I thought it's EPL. Yeah this is my first season here, so hopefully I can stay on the top until the end in my debut.
You are crushing it for first season but Ulven had amazing last round with three exact scores  Shocked
We are still super early and La Liga season is vey long, so I think we are going to see a lot of changes in next rounds.
Worst surprise for me so far is cryptofrka and Trofo taking dead last places in table, cro2 team members are DOWN hard  Grin

It's ok we're all related and I think with pools, BSFL, and soon Champions League starting, we will see a lot of overlapping discussions and overlapping leaders like you lol

It's fine too as in the end almost all heavy football discussion is under UEFA jurisdiction, so it's one big network of football Smiley

As for La Liga season, don't worry, there are still plenty of surprises to come in the upcoming rounds. We are sure to witness significant changes ahead.

As for the bad surprise, it seems that cryptofrka and Trofo are going through tough times and occupying the last places in the table! 😬 It looks like the cro2 team is having a really hard time! 🤣

Jayce its destroying us in both pools, you start really confident. But you know its not easy to be in first position and we have a long run ahead.

Its like when you play Crash and you be in first position and you received a lot of rockets and the blue power who catch the one who was first.

We just have 11 points gap only and there are still 34 remaining rounds, so you have very high possibility to overtake me anytime. Good luck darbit Wink

Don't organize pools is working best for me Grin I am at the rock bottom of both my La Liga and Serie A pools. At the same time I am doing great in other pools:
- Fantasy Premier League - 2nd
- Premier League - 5th
- Bundesliga - 1st

Can't really explain it. Only league I am watching is Premier League and I definitively know most about it but I am watching much more of La Liga then Bundesliga for sure.

Excellent results. And as far as I remember, a good position at the beginning (even if ahead of 90% of the way) allows you to stay at the top. Maybe due to confidence or due to the fact that when I try to come up from below, I make risky predictions and they do not work well. This season didn't get off to a great start for me, but I mostly blame the problems with the VPN for making it hard for me to read the analytics.

I agree with KTChampions, pool growing is better, and prizes still make it even better for all. Bring it on, one day I'll figure out how to win Tongue
Figure out how to win?
Stay consistent until the end, don't give up.

I think I am positioning 24th or 23rd but I am still hopeful that I will get something from the pool. It's still too early to lose your hope 😉

Did you guys notice Jayce is leading in LaLiga and PL, both pool. It used to be KTChampions but now it seems we need to do something against Jayce LOL

I'm definitely consistent, pick Barca and Real, and also Sevilla and Valencia, the last two is what makes me lose. The thing is, don't bet on them, you lose money but in the pool how do you pick them to lose? You also get zero for draws if you pick lose. But of course way too early to give up. Many people won prizes later in the season.

this is the key, have an average 10 points per round, and you will be able to get prize spot, close to winning the pool
but it is very hard, TBH, one/two lousy rounds, and you start to make some unexpected predictions to get back into solid position, which drags you down below

it is better to stick with favorites, because pools does not encourage chasing surprises by their point system, but that is also not easy

It's indeed a good achievement for me but then I remember last season, which I was on 1st for several weeks and in the end of season I went down to 21st LMAO

I dont have any tip to win yellow cap but sometimes I made a few of surprising picks. Not a good bet but it could turn the table at some points.
