Quite a funny standings after 5 rounds - after the obvious leaders are Athletic, Girona, Valencia and Rayo Vallecano.

have to admit that Girona form is up since they beat Real at home 4:2 last season, and I don't want to use that, constantly thinking they will melt, but they are staying up, and will probably melt when I start to pick them

Valencia is up since Baraja took over, more than happy about that, and also have win over Real at home last season, at the end

seems that win over Real at home is a game changer for La Liga teams Smiley

Just look at my card

Zero exact point out for 49 matches. Unbelievable.

LaLiga is not working for me. Experts tips and tricks will be appreciated LOL

Maybe you didn't have any exact scores but you are placed far above me on the table. And I had one or two exact scores in almost all rounds. I guess you had way more close scores than me so you collected more points.  It's not just about getting the exact match, it's about getting as much close spires as you can.

Thank you! I'm in  Smiley I hope I can complete everything before the deadline.

It's sad that Granada - Girona play only tomorrow, I don't like to check the state of affairs in the poll during the tour, I prefer to find out the results in the final form. So when a tour stretches for a day because of one game, it’s annoying.

Damn that late goal by Getafe. I had 2-2 (only three of us had that score) and was gonna get 3 points for the exact score but then Maksimović scored a goal in the 86th minute and there goes my points for that game. I'm so bad in predicting scores...
You are not alone. I think we all have our regrets. It's been five rounds and I still am looking for an exact score. Imagine in 50 matches you never got an exact score, you will feel bad. That's me LOL. I am in two other pools. Serie A and Premier League. Not doing well in Premier League too but at least have a few exact scores in both PL and SA.

It's too early to think of anything though so don't lose your hopes.

Poor Betis man... completly destroyed by Barcelona, i didnt expect that bad performance from Real Betis, i al so place a 3-0 pick in favour of Barcelona in Superbru and thinked it was a little bit much. But seems like i was wrong on that.
I had a 0 - 3 too and when a team score 5 goals then everything goes wrong. In the pool nothing has changed. Everyone got 1 point each.

The mayor surprise for me was Valencia win against Atletico, i think our friend Casper its very excited no?
My understanding about Atletico was they were favorite.

I am disappointed with my performance so far LOL. In fact in La Liga I feel like I am totally stranger, looking at the position in the point table.

Really did not expect such high victory from Barca and they did it so easy in the end. Betis had some good chances like the one that fell on isco foot but in the end it wasn't enough to win my bet.

So, it seems that this year we will see different kind of Valencia. Win against Atletico 3:0 is serious statement. Not sure about fight for UEFA spots yet, but at least they shouldn't fight to avoid relegation. Offcourse, nobody won't be surprised if they will drop points against underogs.
Now Barca - Betis is in action.
Trying to watch the game but my provider is having problems all day long. I was out until recently and my mobile app was crashing all the time when I tried to keep an eye on PL. Then when I got home things got even worse on TV. Bastards, if this continues tomorrow, I'll pay only half of the bill and start arguing with them  Grin I know I will lose but that will be excuse to switch providers. I don't care how much it costs but I want all the football without interruption whenever I feel like it.

Have both to score in Barca game by the way.

Most of us had totally different prediction in Superbru Smiley
Valencia can always beat anyone in the league but they can also lose from anyone, and I dont think they have strength and bench to hold up on top of La Liga to the end.
I think that problem for Atletico Madrid in this match was several injured players, and I think they will catch up Valencia later in the season.
Biggest surprise for me this eason is dead last place for Sevilla with zero points, but can they break this bad run against Las Palmas?

(but yeah it's KTC who sticks to mind a lot).
KTChampions was outstanding last year. I think he had first prize of CL pool, then another significant position in PM pool too. I read in one of the post that he was collecting good prizes from other pools too like Bundesliga. We may feel excited about some users but it really is impossible to predict results as you want. It's purely luck I think. The research and analysis may help a lot but still it's luck.

Yeah, it's definitely luck. I was invincible in the BSFL competition in the first season and now I'm struggling to keep my position in the middle of the table. You can research all you want but with predicting correct results for a football game, luck is the main factor.

I definitely noticed jayce and IIRC he wasn't a contender before.

I'm old so my memory doesn't really extend far beyond current season (but yeah it's KTC who sticks to mind a lot). Pools are luck, we generally agree. But for some able to maintain and even widen gaps, that truly is collective balls to go for unexpected scorelines.

but I mostly blame the problems with the VPN for making it hard for me to read the analytics.

It's really important you get VPNs that have servers near you, especially on TOR. I had VPN problems until moving west...

I think lady luck rotates each year. Last year she was having affair with KTChampions, they had a good summer together but this year she thought KTChampions lost his youth so she decided to move with Jayce. Give her good time brother 😉

Free VPNs are slow. I used to use free VPN and used to think that's working fine until I had a paid VPN. The difference is very clear. With a paid VPN you do not feel any difference between using VPN and the regular network.

If you look t the level of rivalry and supposed hatred between Sergio Ramos and Barcelona, and Lionel Messi in particular, I'm about the hostility in every match they played against each other which often leads to physical bruises of intentional gesture and always unremorseful about awful tackles that could cause a career threatening injury, you'd presume that Messi and Ramos would never have any respect for each let share a dressing and be highly professional about it as though they've never being on extreme opposing sides of heated rivalry.

There have been some speculations about how Sergio Ramos isn't being welcomed back well by Sevilla fans, I guess probably due to their history while he was at Real Madrid, but Sevilla as a club right now are in total disarray defensively since the beginning of the new season, If there any defender out there that his level of experience at all level could help them, even if it is mean to be just within the dressing room, Sergio Ramos by all means is one of such players.

That's the media and the fanbase that usually likes to make a lot out of the rivalry trying to paint Ramos/Messi as hateful of each ither. Not true, both are really professional and competitive, you see the same in some other sports, fighting or boxing, they look like they hate each other but in the end it is respect. If you don't respect your opponent you don't even try to tackle them Smiley You see this in football teams who look down on others don't even try hard.

Anyway, it's not my club anymore and Sevilla is in flux, I am now more concerned how to defeat Bellingham and even how to deal with Atletico!!

Yes, but some players just feel like they've had enough of touring and simply just want to go back home, hence why he chose to go back to Sevilla where it all started, and we've read the same of players like Ronaldo and Messi being the biggest last 2 decades saying their the home country and boyhood club is where they want to head back to when the time comes to draw the curtains on their illustrious respective careers.

Well Ramos made a lot of Arab money already in France and maybe like you said, no need to make more, just go back to where it all began. Perhaps after that he will retire to Arab anyway, why not?

He's the enemy because of Real but as a player, no matter the club, I always feel sad when their journeys don't end well. So it's nice so far to see this happen. Hope the fans don't mind Wink

Long season, I hope to mae up for lost points. Be brave and pick against Sevilla? Smiley

Sevilla is in the news lately, but not due to results
Sergio Ramos decided to go back and finish career there, instead picking Galatasaray for 10x money, or Saudi clubs for 20x something that will get in Sevilla, rare occasion in football these days
