Before the match I was thinking that Barcelona would get tired in the second half of the match after playing a Champions League match on weekday and their performance would drop. However the other way around happened. They managed to win 3-2 by making an unbelievable comeback in the Celta Vigo match of which they entered the last 10 minutes 2-0 behind.

Damn, what a crazy comeback of Barcelona. In general it was shitty game, but what was going on in last 10 minutes was crazy - from 0:2 to 3:2. When score become 2:2, usually I think it's already good to take 1 point from such kind of game, but this time I was more than sure that 3rd goal is just matter of time.
Want to say few words about Girona, they're still undefeated after 6 rounds. Win against Mallorca 5:3 today and IMO, from all teams, Girona games is most attractive to watch now. I really would like to see them in Europa league next season at least, maybe even Champions league is possible.
Madrid Derby at Metropolitano tomorrow, any initial thoughts?

I change scores here and there sometimes but sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Honestly, probably just keep things easy and keep your picks unless something drastic happens to team players.

Don't let the bad results from the first few round discourage you. Predicting correct scores is very difficult and much luck is needed to guess the score of a game. I'm too sitting near the bottom of the table, but that's OK. I joined this pool for fun, not for anything serious. Sometimes luck will change and you will get a lot of scores right or close and sometimes you will get most games wrong.

For me neither research nor luck are on my side, started week 1 at the bottom and never got to climb, its so unpredictable and so hard to guess the right score, still early on but have a feeling not much will change for me. I also decided that once i decide on a score i will not make any changes, many times I made a change and ended up getting it wrong while my first pick was the right one, at least i believe i am not the only one with this issue, it feels like the universe likes to be funny with us, there has to be something going on along those lines. Ah well at least I enjoy the fun of it all.

Same. Pools actually not much you can do and random scores win you exact and close points. This season I'm trying more 2-1 scores everywhere and no difference in results lol

BSFL if you research and your opponent does not, you have better chance of "free points" like in picking tennis finalists for example. Still luck like you said but you can win points by research

My knowledge about these leagues are nearly shit. Have no idea of the teams, how they play. I only depend on the result I see online and make my guess from it. Maybe that's the reason of the bad position on the point table for me.

Anyone have more to say about some other teams or any insights that can help people like me? We can always use tips and helps from people who know the league better than others.

A similar problem - when I see that a team has begun to play significantly better than its average level, I always don’t know what forecast to make - after all, the randomness of the results increases (a team on the rise can either beat the leaders or lose points with outsiders), so basically I suffer from the fact that I'm not making a bolder prediction. Yup. I was relegated last year in BSFL and I wasn't trying less hard, it just seemed impossible to win anything. You could score 5 or 6 and still lose or draw at best.

This season also it was a big lucky streak but in my favor. Now I just hope I get lucky one more round to get back in promotion. At least ther research helps. Superbru is true roulette.

Maybe you didn't have any exact scores but you are placed far above me on the table. And I had one or two exact scores in almost all rounds. I guess you had way more close scores than me so you collected more points. It's not just about getting the exact match, it's about getting as much close spires as you can.

You are not alone. I think we all have our regrets. It's been five rounds and I still am looking for an exact score. Imagine in 50 matches you never got an exact score, you will feel bad. That's me LOL. I am in two other pools. Serie A and Premier League. Not doing well in Premier League too but at least have a few exact scores in both PL and SA.

It's too early to think of anything though so don't lose your hopes.
