Oh Barca, they actually do look pretty don't they? Heard rumour from friend Catalan government soft promised a bail out if Barca collapse.

They only way out now is for Barcelona to win major trophies for the next few seasons and make some sales too but who is the current most valuable player the club would rather lose if not De Jong ? if neither should happen, it's going to be a complete disaster, they're well over playing their hands especially with the oldies. I value the Kounde and Raphinha deals so far, and but the Lewandowski deal still doesn't sit well with me... He was impressive against Real Madrid and Barca look to be alive again, but it's all just still way to early to make any speculation on how the season would go.

This Brokelona club will be liquidated within the next five years; they are selling their future in order to remain relevant in the transfer market; they have ruined our transfer market; I despise this club now.

I think Chelsea have done us a few bad in this transfer window too, as Barcelona have been forced match the offers from Chelsea for Raphinha and now probably Kounde too, I think if Chelsea had not submitted an offer Raphinha earlier Barcelona would have gotten him for lower price since the players themselves preferred Barcelona to Chelsea but the clubs have no reason to obliged to a deal of lower value, if an higher one has already been made.

igehhh didn't know you were the kind to be watching all games on all screens. My simple mind actually prefers one game at a time, I might switch to another game at half time but not come back and switch back and forth. In fact, there is this really annoying local channel called Switch -- when they can't decide which game to actually follow.

Great that you enjoy goals and incidents then. The entire game, buildup, sum of all its ugly parts, the way the pendulum swings, that's how it works for me!
I have one or two favorite players in each EPL club, so I try to catch as many of their games as possible. I'm also on some EPL pages where I provide match insights and news. I enjoy watching three or four matches at once, especially when my club is not in action.

friendly reminder to all my fellow La Liga fans that today around this time (8pm Las Vegas, zzz i'm sleepy), we're gonna have a pre-season El Clasico 😳
Pre season classico was just Barca according to stats. Did not watch it since it was middle of the night but it seems like Real did not even had one serious chance to jeopardize Barca. It also seems that Raphinha clicked good with this Barca side which I am glad since I did not consider him as the big signing they all said he were.
yeah, Barca deserved the win... Remember the 0-4 at the Bernabeu last season? it was pretty much the same thing today, could've been 5-0 but Courtois was immense. No benzema, no threat in the attack, if he gets seriously injured then we'll probably write the season off,, grim. Overall, i can see why Barca fans are so excited about the next season, team's looking very solid in all fronts

Exactly, I see Barça to be really competitive this year thanks also to Lewandoski that has signed in for their team (I was shocked to see that, considering that bayern wouldn't have sold him for any kind of reason). We'll see

anyway many interesting thing, Real will not repeat his performance of last year and Barça finally will become team that deserves to be.

Barcelona won very deservedly. It was obvious that they were a better team today. Lewandowski seems to fit in very well with Barcelona's playing style.  It looks like this season for Barcelona will be much better than last one. There is definitely a lot more excitement waiting for us at the top of the La Liga table. I wonder if Atletico can handle Barcelona or Real in the coming season.  Roll Eyes

Yeah, seems that Xavi knows what he is doing. This is now his team after he made proper selection and run whole pre season preparation. They really look well on pitch but I am bit worried about their financial status and "creative bookkeeping". Still don't know how they bought all these players.

I'd like to be a part of it. I'm also a Laliga fan, though I only watch the important matches, compared to the EPL, which I watch nearly 86% of the games. If I were to join a Laliga pool, I would base most of my predictions on bookmaker odds because I don't follow most of the teams there. I'll decide whether to join the fantasy pool or Laliga in a few days. I'd also be running a daily 1.50 odd free tips challenge on Telegram for those interested.
So nearly 86% of the games? Really curios how you worked out that number and then added nearly in front of it Smiley Cracked me up really good.

So share some forum link if you are documenting that challenge here, or maybe telegram invitation if it is only there. I believe you have my nick on telegram so you can send it to me there as well.

That means only about 1 and a half games per round that you miss, even I'm hardly at 30% of La Liga games. I'd watch my own IF I'm awake or if it's available, and then MAYBE one other game if I am also not half asleep lol

igehhh seems to be a superhuman guy or maybe he records all the simultaneous games to watch Wink Chelsea supporter who do you usually like in Spain?

It's a friendly, sure, but you bet your ass Lewandowski wants to have a dream debut with FC Barcelona. But on the other hand, Benzema and the boys don't want to miss the opportunity to give Barca fans a reality check (fans look too excited lately, time to smash their hopes, hehe)

Even though it's only a test match, the two Spanish giants will still be testing their new strength. The match that will be held at Ellegiant Stadium, Las vegas will be a fierce battle, this match will show the ability of both teams. Especially at this time who was intensively in the transfer market. Barcelona will have new players, namely Rapinha from Leeds United and Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich. this will be their first debut in barcelona with a test match El Clasico.

Bundesliga is not the same platform, it will be the only one on another site. They used that one in the past and didn't wanted to change. That is probably the only one I may skip. Mostly because of platform.

I'll be joining the Bundesliga pool, and that's for the sake of it being run on another platform, I'd like to see how it would work perhaps, it could be a worth replacement for SuperBRU which I get we all are accustomed too, but sometimes there's always something new, perhaps better out there you just have to find them and give them a trial (I'm not talking about our wives or women here).

I'm definitely going to have my weekends really hectic with these pools next season, I'll probably take a day or two to put in all my picks for the entire season, then change as I dim fit as the game week approaches and team forms begin to set in, at least that way I'll be sure I won't be missing any pick due have a long Friday or some shitty network weekends.

.You also forgot Championship League pool which will be big according to the info I got unofficially, so let's wait and see.

England 2nd division ? or UCL ?

I mentioned that I could be wrong about the percentage, and it's very possible because of how I watch my games. I don't watch my games at home; instead, I prefer to watch them at fans viewing centers, where you have access to 4- 5 TVs, allowing you to watch 3-4 fixtures at a time, and sometimes these fixtures usually start 2 hours apart, giving you more time to watch each game. It feels great to watch games with a cold vodka while also having the opportunity to banter with rivalry fans for fun.
That is cheating Smiley And it is possible to do it home as well, I just don't find much joy at it. When you watch multiple games on different screens like that you end up just watching goal chances and you miss on a lot of stuff. I have a 3 monitor setup in my room/office so sometimes when I have a bet on multiple games/sports that play out at the same time I watch them all at once. When I do that for a longer period of time it just makes me tired and I get headache so screw all that, pick the best game that is on and enjoy it fully.
Haha, I pay $5 for a single match and whenever 3-4 matches start at the same time, we consider it a bonus because you came to watch your favorite but ended up watching other actions as well. I only watch Sunday early kickoffs on my phone while I'm in church, which is a bad habit, but it's a Chelsea game, I'm not missing that. My wife despises it, but she has no control over it. Football is a passionate sport. Cheesy

Haha, realistically, I watched 98% of Chelsea's games last season, missing only two league cup matches because they weren't broadcast on major channels. To be honest, I wasn't sure about those percentages, but I watch 3-4 random fixtures every weekend.

When the league games officially begin, I will share the telegram link. A $100 to $1000 challenge with a 98% success rate. It's going to be a lot of fun.
Damn man, I see I'll have to give out some math instructions  Grin

Let's go with the easy one first. It is impossible to watch 86% of Premier League games if you don't watch at least 2 and probably 3 of them on replays. There is 10 games every week. For you to get 86% you would need to watch 8-9 games every week. Which is impossible since at least 3 of them and sometimes more are played at the same time on Saturday. So if you watch every single live game every single week you would get 60-65%.

Chelsea played 63 games last season (you made me google it) if you missed 2 of them that means you missed:
2/63*100=3,175%, which means you actually watched a little less of 97% of games. So you were actually very close here.
I didn't do my home work very well.  Angry

it is hardly possible to watch more EPL matches, since most play on Saturday in the same time (and if you have one TV, as I do, I can watch one game at a time, so basically missing out on four-five matches on that time) - although we have several matches on live coverage from provider

last two seasons, La Liga did a lot on that, due to Covid, and they have almost all matches at different timing during weekends, so you can watch almost all, but on the other side, some matches could be really boring (I am calling their Sunday 14:00 match a sleeping giant, since it is usually 0-1 goals, and 0-5 shots on goal match))

I have a problem with percentages apparently since I am discussing them here with you after drinking 5 beers and a bottle of home brewed schnaps instead of going to bed. I think is because of college and all the math classes I listened there, ruined for life Smiley

I actually always assumed most people in EPL pool was also going to join, last season I thought only because these pools were just for the first time sponsored by Sportsbet but I guess the majority of football followers don't really see much interest in football leagues that is not EPL.

We should try our best to convert some, like Welsh hilarious LFC_Bitcoin igehhh and rdbase are the loyalists of Premier League, why not try these 2 also, there is free contest every week too for extra freebets Smiley
