Barcelona is playing Bilbao tonight, did not check line-ups, but Bilbao is always a difficult opponent
Bibao are playing with their B team, i guess they're focused on the Copa del Rey semifinal, should be a cakewalk for Barca tonight, probably the first clean sheet for Barcelona in a very long time (dissapointing, heh)
Fuckers, destroyed my multi ticket with that choice. Barca is always good to let a goal or two but not against B team. My fault really since I forgot there is cup semi final during the the week which is obviously more important to them. Ah well, I had a couple of great days of counting profits now back to damage limitation Smiley

You must be the happiest man alive when it comes to Barca, slam. Goals coming in from left and right, no more pressure on Depay with Auba and others to share the workload.

Life without Messi, at least for this season, doesn't look so bad anymore right?

a bit dissapointed Real Betis couldn't fight back in the second half... a 9-point lead would've been sweet for Madrid, but i guess the title race is back on
and congrats, first domestic silverware for the Reds (:

Thank you, thank you, I wasn't expecting it to be honest, but if this is what our semi Team B is capable of, we can finally spread ourselves. I know it sounds arrogant about a quadruple but I think it's more than a possibility if everyone is fit and Klopp again acts as a "human being" (referencing his explanation of why he stuck with B keeper instead of Alisson).

And yeah, I think a real title race in La Liga is going to be fun. England, Italy, Spain, these will go down to the wire!

Germany? Bayern can lose to Bochum all season long but BVB will also find ways to lose.

Auba opens scoring, and then we get bonus 2 goals very late, Memphis long time no score important goal, so good to see him too get on the scoresheet and still be relaxed.

One game at a time!

Nobody I am sure except Levante fans would ever have put in such a prediction.

they're gaining momentum, maybe i'll start backing them in the pool

I'm definitely tempted to agree with this based on performances of recent games, and if they pool is already starting to do that as we saw this week, maybe it's also time for me to switch over. When they're playing at home anyway should be great.

And Villarreal, I think nobody didn't saw this coming - 5 goals against Espanyol is solid stuff.

agree about this one, Espanyol took points from Barca and Sevilla in previous rounds, was thought about draw in this one, but decided to "go with a flow" and pick Villareal
Barca won over Bilbao is really surprising for me, but if Bilbao played with B team, than it just my information

we have just Granada left, it could be seen where La Liga compares to Premier league, when you have this Friday and Monday matches, that are hardly interesting anytime, while in Premier league every match is solid and interesting

It was so much joy watching Barca yesterday. Wins against Athletic is rarely so easy. I don't even know what to say about Dembele. Month ago he was written-off without future in Barcelona. Now he enter from bench with a goal and 2 assists. And Luuk de Jong - believe it or no, but after Depay he is 2nd on team top scorers list.
Sevilla won over Betis, but did not hold to usual 2:0 score, so they can done it with any team? Betis was much better in second half, but far from that they earned more than a decent lose, could have done it without scoring as well
In 1st half it looked that Sevilla will completely destroy Betis. In 2nd half they were a bit better, but that late goal didn't changed anything.
And Villarreal, I think nobody didn't saw this coming - 5 goals against Espanyol is solid stuff.

Barcelona are on the right track to win the game, 2-0 up, at the 82 minutes gone already. And this win would see Barça back to the top 4. Barcelona played well and dominated the game for the majority of the time.

Sevilla on track it seems even with those key players missing huh. Are we ready to acknowledge they have a chance? I'm moving over to you know which game =D

Villareal drive me crazy. When I say they can get 3 goals, they can't. Then when I back them again they score 5. It's pretty annoying to "go brave" and predict a high scoring match and then still get the same points for when they go and score 5. Then again, also brave to predict 1-0 and then see it all fall away with 2 goals in 10 mins huh.

Sevilla derby to start in 20 minutes. So what do you guys think? I have a bet on Betis to not lose since Sevilla is missing a lot of players, especially in defense. I hoped that Carlos will be absent as well since he picked up a knock against Dinamo but he is in first 11 so I am not so sure anymore. Placed another bet on both to score so 1:1 would suit me perfectly.

Valencia on their way with their win, and I was surprised to see less than half of us thought about this. I know we all said can't trust the team but Mallorca is clearly less capable on paper.

Match shows one-sided match, of course, so I guess I got lucky here. Valencia defending the lucky goal like a team from Liga Segunder! 1 corner, all the cards and a sending off. Seriously, who can take them seriously even after this win?

last week Levante beat Atletico Madrid and then a few days later they escaped with a 1-1 against Celta, both were away games, that's nothing to scoff at tbh... Levante are gonna play at home tonight and momentum is on their side. part of me thinks they're capable of beating Elche, but the other part says "you're delusional"  Grin hmm

So 3 brave guys went for Levante win, I guess they must be thinking some regret that all only got 1 point out of it because 3 goals and conceding nothing? Nobody I am sure except Levante fans would ever have put in such a prediction.

friendly reminder that the weekly free bet challenge is up https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/sportsbetio-la-liga-and-serie-a-free-bet-challange-5354144

I guess not many people are going to be excited about the first game of the new round, but Levante are the home favorites and but it is strange as this is bottom team versus 13th place team, so Elche should be expected to win again right?

Pedri's goal from the shot touched Auba and the goal and has been awarded to Auba, so he has a Hat trick on his first game for Barcelona as a starter.
Yes, Aubameyang played as the starter first time in this match. He made 3 goals for Barcelona to ensure Barcelona management that he deserves to be a starter in each match. I am sure Xavi will consider him to be Barcelona main central forward after this good achievement. We must admit that Aubameyang is an extraordinary striker in the past, but he made the wrong decision to join Arsenal previously. Now, he started very well in Barcelona, hope he will be successful here.

Pedri deserved to have that goal, actually. But I guess being the awesome dude he is, he probably also preferred to let Auba celebrate his hattrick. Free transfer already paid off I guess.

I wouldn't say he made a wrong decision about Arsenal though. He was good for the club and the club also reaped rewards. All the issues kinda was his fault. Still not 100% sure about this guy especially with all the stuff that happened at Arsenal but hopefully we find that Xavi is a better person to manage that guy's personality than Arteta.

Going to just switch off and hope Celta salvages my Monday, no points anywhere to be found.

Levante pull of a point, to put an end on this round
who would call that from Napoli, Celta and Bologna, only the later will win their game on Monday, but then it is always crazy Monday, and most of the time, results like these

nevertheless, happy with this round, Sevilla was a booger, did not see them drawing with Espanyol, and everything else is much-less expected

Should have been a bit more adventurous than 2-0 pick but who'd have guessed 4-1 anyway?
2-0? big mistake, i've said it a few

Indeed. There are lessons to be learnt all around from the big boys, and I'm ignoring them time again (of course, when I do try to be a good boy Serie A seems to punish me on BTTS).

Don't believe in Levante today, but already on first minutes they had crazy open miss.
The first 10 minutes was ok but maybe it's just me the rest of the half was poor, I don't think there was anything other than one good shot saved early on, the rest of the game has been snore and not even brutal to deserve many cards. Feel so cheated after a great weekend. Going to just switch off and hope Celta salvages my Monday, no points anywhere to be found.

four goals in the end, and Bilbao trashed Sociedad, who would see that coming after 60 minutes
they were a bit better whole match, but scored almost all opportunities after first goal, nevertheless missing penalty in first half

Celta is closing this round tonight, should be an easy home win, but Levante won in Madrid, and maybe they could repeat the upset
It was difficult to expect such result, especially after 60 minutes, maybe result don't fully reflect game. IMO, Inaki Williams is one of the most underrated players in league.

Pedri's goal from the shot touched Auba and the goal and has been awarded to Auba, so he has a Hat trick on his first game for Barcelona as a starter. Pedri deserves commendation though for that nice shot on target. For Auba, it is a clear show that a happy player puts in more efforts, he was definitely no longer happy at Arsenal, Barcelona will be good for him, he has already started well.
Let's just hope it stays that way both for Barca and Auba, they need each other. Sometimes it happens that new players starts very good and then looses the touch soon. Just look at Lukaku example in Chelsea, he came scored some incredibly important goals in though matches and then disappeared.

Must admit that I doubted Auba signing the most. I was expecting most from Torres and he started by blasting every opportunity over the goal.

First some brilliant goals and assists from Traore, today a brace from Auba. Must be good times to be a Barca fan eh slam, and I know it's Valencia but they're capable of tripping up teams.
