yeah we're gonna have some really good games this weekend. Looking forward to Barca v Sevilla, it's gonna be a tough game for Madrid fans cos on one hand we want Sevilla to keep dropping points, but on the other hand, this Barcelona hype train needs to be stopped asap  Grin  i suppose @Trofo will pick this game for the weekly challenge? if so i'll prolly go with a draw and BTTS
Uf, almost forgot about free bet challenge, gonna rectify that in next couple of minutes. Of course I'll pick up Barca vs. Sevilla but i think Barca has what it takes to take all the points here. Of course I am putting both to score on my ticket as usual. Now just to find a game from Serie A...

new round on weekend, most interesting match between Barcelona and Sevilla, but I think it will be an easy home strike for Barca
Real playing in Vigo, which could be a break, and Valencia against Cadiz at home, Atletico against Alaves, should be a home win

*You know how many minutes Hazard played in last 7 games against Barca? 0 (zero), money well spent Smiley

I am so sick of sports papers these days, everybody is piling shit on Real today after praising them until yesterday. Yeah, they were terrible, yes Ancelotti made few bad decisions, especially with playing Modric as false 9 but still this is a team that is first in La Liga (12 points over Barca) and they just dropped PSG from CL. Who can ask for more?

I remember a few games ago when Messi was still in El Clasico and it was also discussed why Hazard wouldn't even start even though he could be half fit and the commentator said it was something about his mentality that wasn't suitable etc. I didn't get it also.

Oh and it's so stupid about the Real drama even on this forum. The La Liga thread as usual is majority of users just recycling comments they read, all going on and on and on about Real being shit etc.

I'm a Barcelona fan and I didn't have Barcelona to win in the pool, probably the most hurtful point I've lost all season long the pool and the only reason why I probably didn't have Barcelona to win was because I made my picks about 2 weeks ago (for 3 weeks in advance) but never got a chance to review it before the game week started which is what I often do.

There were just so many low scoring games in the week, and it's probably the worse week there have been averagly in the pool right ? Yellow cap with just 9 points (I had just 3).

I'm the biggest idiot, putting Barca to win in every game, I just can't help it. But 4-0 if I did that either I disrespect Real or I am crazy or I am Xavi Wink

I dont see a Madrid so weak in a Clasico since the Guardiola era.

The transitions between attack and defense were shit, always they are bad positioning like i see in the goals.

What a assist for Abuameyang in the third goal.

Why nobody put 4-0 for Barca in the pool? hahaha

And yeah, this loss was painful for Real, but like I already said yesterday, globally, nothing terrible didn't happened for them. They're still in Champions league and almost champions in La Liga.

I would kick that almost, since they are already champions, unless we have new Covid and suspended championship, I really cannot imagine them losing this difference, and they will not lose it
will be interesting where they will end up in CL, but could end up with a trophy as well (would not bet on that, but it is manageable to reach final over Chelsea and City)

Yeah, Madrid are already the champions of La Liga this season imo, unless something very drastic happens, even if Barcelona should win their game in hand, they'd still be 9 points behind Real Madrid and there's little chances that Real Madrid would throw away that much points with just 9 games left in the season, although it's of worthy note that Real Madrid still do have some though fixtures ahead, like Betis, Atletico and Sevilla, meanwhile Barcelona still have to play Betis as well as Villarreal.

Damn, I actually forgot that Hazard  is still playing for Real. Probably it's worst Real transfer in last decade.

how many 1v1 barca had tonight? casemiro as centre-back in the 2nd half, two minutes in and ferran torres has two clear chances and killed the game with the 3-0. Ancelotti masterclass  (:

we're thinking about signing mbappe and haaland instead of getting rid of ex footballers like carvajal and nacho and find replacements, grim  Cry
congrats Barca fans
While we are dropping out the stats here are 2 interesting ones that I think sum up yesterday game and Real transfer policy perfectly:
*Gavi entered the game in 71st minute, and had more successful duels than any Real player
*You know how many minutes Hazard played in last 7 games against Barca? 0 (zero), money well spent Smiley

Anyway, wild Barca ride, everything I could have wished for came true. 100% with you LTU_btc nothing changes. We are not winning the title and Real had a big cushion so you could even say they were prepared to lose. But oh, to finally win against them after such a bad losing streak, and to play like we wanted to play is amazing.

Waited almost 1 week for this. So I'm very very happy Smiley I have to show this off again and again Smiley

Today went a little reckless. Picked one team from all La Liga games today to do a 5-leg acca (you know, our favourite insurance boosted multibet). Espanyol squeezed the win over the line and I thought it would be utterly irresponsible of me NOT to add Barca to that at such odds. Real is Real but Barca is... actually starting to resemble Barca.

Unfortunately it seems we both went for Villareal in our bets, I guess like me you were thinking after Champions League maybe they want to try and secure their spot for next season and get themselves into a good form? But then you get a result like that lol. Weird to see 0-0 results also yesterday and just a while ago I was saying La Liga is putting out results as expected unlike Serie A.

Congrats, Barca fans. We been waiting for this win for long time. And not just a win, but win in style. 4:0 at Bernabeu, like in old good times Smiley. Yeah, globally this win doesn't change anything  - Real is almost champion and we don't return to title race. But it's always fun to win big at main rival stadium, especially after long break.
For Real I think main problem today was that because absence of Benzema they played 4-4-2, while all season long they used 4-3-3 formation.

hardly can have any take on the title, but this is hard defeat for Real, could not say that was totally unexpected for Barca to win, but this is more than a win, it is rage
They want to show they are better even though table does not show it Smiley It is always nice to show your strength against league leader. Too be fair it is a bit tough to judge if Real is really bad tonight or Barca really good. Probably a little bit of both plus injured Benzema and you end up with 4:0. Could have been even more. Too bad for Barca that we have international break now, they could have ridden on the wave of this victory for next few games.

it is 0:4 at the moment, but does not seem that it will end here

regarding El Clasico, not sure what to think, closer to Barca win looking at teams, but it is in Madrid, so draw is better option
Barcelona is destroying Real in the middle of Madrid, after first 5 minutes Real disappeared from the pitch. Just as I am writing this Barca scored 2nd goal, you can see it on the pitch that they want it more. High pressing, professional fouls to stop counters....just better energy. Seems like Xavi did very good job so far. Still a lot to play and this could turn in second half or maybe Barca scores a couple more. I lost all my tickets earlier so just enjoining it without skin in the game Smiley

From 4 other today's games I got 0 points, though, probably only Cadiz win against Villarreal can be considered as big surprise.

Sevilla, as someone will put them - title contender, had no shot-on-target, in a match against Sociedad, pretty mind boggling to see them at position 2
other matches were more-less expected, Cadiz to win was not that of surprise, but yeah, in our pool all went with Villareal

I expect most interesting El Clasico for a while. Both teams recently in quite good shape. Yeah, absense of Benzema is big hit for Real. Despite it, they're still favorite, though 2.20 odds for their win at home doesn't show big advantage. Actually, I can't remember when we won against Real last time. Maybe it's time finally?

And after El Clasico we will go into long awaited international break Cheesy.

And while we're at it, since watching Atletico against United, is Simeone and Atletico also starting to resemble old Atletico? I swear that guy is actually happier when his team is shithousing and wins 1-0, then when they're winning 3-0 while actually trying to play positive football.

I've put down one of my big freebets on them with boost to 3.2x
3.2x with Benz and Mendy confirmed to miss the game... not bad.
Huge game for Barcelona to cement their place in the top 4, I expect them to come out all guns blazing and have the most chances in front of goal and dominate ball possession with Real and Vinicius waiting for the counter attacks.

fun fact: the team that scored first in the last 7 clasicos in the league ended up winning the game. Also, BTTS and +2.5 was correct in their last 4 encounters
I was eyeing up that both to score for whole week and than I read today that Benzema is out. This takes away a lot of value from both to score. Don't get me wrong it should still pass easy but value is not there. Maybe adding something like Barca x2 could boost it since I believe that Real would be quite happy with a draw, especially now without Benzema in the squad.

Yup, I thought that Benzema out makes it one less worry and it's a really big worry. Not that it makes the squad any less dangerous as I mentioned in another thread the odds actually didn't even change one bit when Benzema was confirmed not to play.

I also hoping for all goals and nothing less, but I'll be very happy if we come away with a draw because we just can't let the consecutive loss record grow any longer.
