Valencia is playing home match with Osasuna, but cup final is next week, and all eyes are on that one, since League position will be between 10-15 this season
damn! i totally forgot about the Copa del rey. No wonder we have such a high-profile game on a friday night (Sociedad-Betis). About this match, the recent head-to-head is something else: 3-1 Betis, 4-0 Betis and a another 4-0 in the league cup. Betis win @3.6, i'll take my chances  Grin

So we just now have 2nd place to fight for. Let's make it a good fight.

Sevilla, you can go ahead and take it easy, I actually want Real fit for City hehe

yeah, Eintracht won over Barca was real surprise, but it happened
interesting round with Sevilla Real derby, but also great Friday night match between Sociedad and Betis, will be interesting to see if Sociedad can get over Betis tonight, they are fighting for spot 5

Sigh, what a terrible night. I'm honestly not heartbroken actually, was kind of expecting that we would run into trouble, plus, we did an incredible fightback but just needed one more goal to go into extra time but by then anyway we were too tired I would say.

Match with Levante was more difficult than expected. There was feeling that two similar level teams are playing and that one of these teams isn't in the bottom of table. Well, it's usual that teams in relegation zone seriously improve how they are playing because they desperately need to survive.
Xavi did good job with substitutions. Luuk de Jong don't have big role, but how many times this season he saved our asses?

If i rebember good Levante allways make a magnificent games against Barca and Atletico Madrid, i dont know why but all the seasons they make this two teams strugled.

Atletico lose directly and Barca against Levante maybe win but like this in a game with a lot of goals.

And here is my confession: I put Atletico on every single bet I had I was so sure they would put their Champions League into focus and get a solid win.
ah yes, that feeling of seeing all of your betslips destroyed because you put the same team in many different bets and that one team decides to shit the bed,, i know, painful. We learn from out mistakes, though.  oh, and next time just skip atletico, they're shite  Wink

To be fair, they've also won me quite a lot of games this season and last when Barca let me down. The thing with them because of their results, it's quite easy to get 2x on them. My own team on the other hand now you have to either bet early win (like halftime result) or handicap to get 2x now because they can't stop scoring.

Amazing game last night too for you guys who watched, I must find a way to take vacation days next season picking the best games to watch. You guys realize I stopped mentioning Dembele a lot and he's weirdly getting to be at his best? Hope I didn't just jinx him lol

We have some nice games today. After watching City-LFC classic I switched to Barca now. First half was a bit slow and Barca looked out of it, but second half is much better. Already 2:2 and now for the final 10 minutes push.

and your picks for the challenge were awesome, I thought that those will be easy favorite wins, but...
Napoli lost home match with Fiorentina, what a title push from them, they are literally pushing the title away

and Barca is still 2:2 within overtime, probably they will stay that way, with already relegated Levante, they cannot push CL away, because there is no quality competition - and while I was typing, it is 2:3

I usually employ the same tactics, meaning I have one or two tips of day and those games end up on all my tickets. If one of them fails all my tickets are bust. It hurts when it fails but it also sets me up for very nice wins when they come true. In the end it all comes down to market analysis as usual Smiley

What a bad weekend for me, this time i take more risk with a few results and for few this dont go good.

I go for Bilbao ton win , was close, i go to Celta to win, and they failed. And the worst i put hope in a tie in Cadiz- Betis , but not work.

it was a slam finish for Sevilla, having 2:1 in the end, conceiving, and than scoring two within 10 minutes of added time
Atletico lost against Mallorca (it was time for them to win, eventually), so Betis is back to challenge their spot, not that they are going to made it to CL

lost my first spot in the pool, congrats to MoSala

Problem with spending so long at the top is you can get height sickness haha. And then as you retch you way down you just never feel the stomach for the top anymore.

Mallorca win wasn't even worth betting on... but I'm with Trofo. They can go to hell and die -- and I say this even actually liking one or two of their players. And I say that knowing they won't, and rest in the fact that they will always be around to annoy us. We did get our revenge against them this season, Real comes next hopefully.

MoSala rising up, well done. Anyone who thought Real would slip last night should see the highlights, I think that team is in danger of winning the double.

And here is my confession: I put Atletico on every single bet I had I was so sure they would put their Champions League into focus and get a solid win.

But funny enough they played 3 5 2 and got punished with a loss.
Atletico will never get any sympathies from me, they are destroying everything I value about the football. Wouldn't mind to see them in relegation battle Smiley I know it will not happen but I can dream.

To add salt to the wound I was on beers with buddies yesterday and had to watch that game in the bar, they did not have a channel for PL. And we are watching that shit and then to make it even worse in halftime they show 20 best goals by Torres for Atletico and you can see that they used to play football once upon time Smiley

Goal fest in the end. I don't know which is more surprising... Sevilla scoring 4 goals? Granada 2 away? Or the game ending with only 5 yellow cards? The only winners last night I guess would be Sevilla ML punters, bookies probably raked in a lot of money. Well, more than they usually do anyway ha!

Thin odds and I'm broke so no betting for me today. Tomorrow decides if I start Monday with fresh bags of cash. I'd definitely smack on Real on any other ML bet though. Atletico too actually.

Anyone fancy Granada snatching points from Sevilla?

yeah, I think that Maximiano will be at his best, since I changed him as my top keeper in NFT game that I am playing from him to Volcan Babacan from Istanbul Basaksehir, so it is Maximiano time to shine against Sevilla and show me that I made a mistake
you can probably add Basaksehir (Turkish premier league) to lose this week, and do not qualify for European competition next season, as well

nevertheless, Sevilla is really lousy lately, but there is no fifth good team in Spain to take position four from them Smiley, for me the biggest hit on them is losing to West Ham in Europa league, that was their terrain

I am thinking time has come for Sevilla to stop spilling points and get back to winning ways. They lost way too much points in recent weeks and if they continue in this fashion they will soon loose any chance to qualify for CL. Remeber when they had a niche bag of points in reserve on second place? Now they are at same points as Atletico and Barca. I am thinking they already lost the race as some of us predicted they will but surely they have to at least try to fight it out.

^ On the rise, Barca, on the rise, and yes, I lost bets on them last night, yes they should've won, but pretty pleased with the actual performance of the guys on the pitch (except for killer finishing) but this was unfamiliar territory for most of them, against a fast and physical German style of Red Bull football. I think they learnt enough  to play proper at home.

I imagine how much pain to watch European football if you're Asia. I experience similar things when I try to watch events hel in America or Asia. Offcourse, you can watch replay, but then you have to avoid spoilers somehow and it still don't give same emotions as live game.
And that Pedri goal was real beauty. Important win and next target is Eintracht.

Replays are very hard to find unless it is a big game, and usually they play it on a very bad time anyway either afternoon or night, when there is something else on) but it's really not the same if you already know the result and impossible to not know lol I try sometimes but it never works. Social media and phone just have a way of telling you!

But strangely for me I actually used to not mind staying up late to watch football. The real problem now is my work shift which changes week to week and I actually start work around now to end of shift, which is just around midnight my time. By the time I get home, there could be some games but I am too tired to stay up OR my shift starts very late and around the times games play.

Either way my sleep is so screwed in past years. And none of it to football benefit Sad

Yeah it was very nice goal from young Barca prodigy. I liked how Barca supporters welcomed Rakitić, he played for them many years and he went away during covid restrictions so this was first time supporter had a chance to say good by to him. Too bad Pedri was not playing then so he had no respect and sold him a world class fake before doing another one and then scoring a goal Smiley

Ah I really miss these moments because I can't watch the games so no idea this happened, that's very good of them, but Barca can be a classy crowd (if you forget pig heads thrown lol).

Actually I set an alarm for me to wake up and try catch a little bit of the game but came home way too tired to even hear the alarm. I think one day I will move to a country 3 or 4 hours before me so I can watch all these games!

BUT watch the Pedri replay and be happy. Xavi says he actually is being encouraged to shoot more and more in training, because he's very shy lol
