I expected that there will be some strange results in Nations League since many teams don't consider it that important but I never expected all the favorites to fail. Some of them failed spectaculary like Croatia or Belgium, and some of them lost against much weaker teams like England.

Problem is it does not play in our advantage to pick upsets in pools like this one over the long run and then we all do badly except our table leader. I am giving one last chance to NL on my tickets today with bets on Spain and Portugal. If this blows, only underdogs from now on

Not sure honestly which is worse for me. Spain not able to win or France losing or England losing? I mean, we all kinda knew that this whole tournament would be full of surprises, but Spain sort of at least had an excuse with a lot of experimental players but Englang losing with supposedly their best squad? Why is the media so kind to them I don't get it.

Even if for fun to lose to Hungary is not a good look.

I cannot believe my eyes, I lost our big bet but that was not surprising of course (well except France but sometimes you have to allow the big teams to lose) but England killed my first chance at winning money since weeks.

Such a big shame about this ticket because only one left now is Mexico and just France let us down Sad

And it was the lowest odds too as well I just do not understand why this happens with me!

England losing made this bad not for you but for I believe all the participants of this pool.I thought Germany was going to have an easy win but so far the game is ending 1-1 which I think at least some people will get a point or couple of points from this night games.Personally I got 0 points from yesterday games and today games which like you for me is also one of the worst performance in every pool I have take part in.It looks like this pool is going to be a very difficult one for anyone.The first round according to Superbru ended tonight.Let's hope starting from tomorrow the results will be somewhat better than these last 2 nights.

France was dominating the ball, but Denmark took quick attacks and cornelius' finisher got 3 points. No matter how easy Cornelius' first goal seems, not every football player can make the ball hit the ground and finish it with a single shot. Likewise, in the 2nd gold, he had a great shot despite all the contact and bad angle. Nobody takes this tournament very seriously, it's like a practice match. But that doesn't mean Denmark played badly, they played well last year as well. It was a very good game to watch, I enjoyed this tournament this year actually.

I had exact score in first match, and all misses since that one

but there is a lot to play at the moment, and expect from the leader, all other players are in a distance where one exact score can change everything

looking at Hungary tonight, they are up at the moment, did not look at the pool, but probably no one predicted that
Italy and Germany tonight, yeah, Italy was bad against Argentina, but I think they will be good tonight

edit: Hungary won over England for the first time after 60 years, last win was at world cup in Chile 1962 (although without their best player ever than, since Ferenc Puskas was already playing for Real Madrid and Spain national in 1962)

Right now we are in the initial stages,in fact tonight ends the first round with 8 games in Superbru,the fact that the persons are near each other except the leader of the standings means we still have equal chances to make progress in the standings.We have to see the games of tonight,if for example England does not win then pretty much I can say that in the Superbru first round the majority of the big teams do not get these games in the Nations League seriously.There is a lot of games still for the June matches so lots of changes expected in the standings.

There is still a long way to go I think you can get a correct prediction so try to focus more on the upcoming matches!!

Considering yesterday's surprises, I will think twice before betting on the favorites today.

With 16 wins in 24 games played against the Hungary, England have an impressive ratio. Hungary, on the other hand, only won five matches against England. England has historically been a more successful team, but Hungary has matured over the last few years, and they have something to prove in this match. While there is no doubt that England has a better team on paper, I believe that Hungary can at least take a point away from England, especially with the support of its fans at home.

I did the same for Italy,I doubt they will be able to hold Germany tonight,even a draw in this game I would consider a really good result for Italy seeing their recent form.Also England should do well and have an easy win against Hungary tonight.In paper this look like easy games to place bet on especially the England one but seeing what happened yesterday night I am refraining from betting even a single cent anymore in the Nations League where we had some pretty crazy results so far.

@buwaytress finally some big team that did play like they know to play,Holland got away and played that beautiful offensive football they know to play.I had a draw in that game as I though Belgium is really high ranked at the FIFA standings but I was wrong.

So, me being me, changed two things. Decided Trofo's advice was to go unheeded and changed to home win, and then decided Netherlands should be my pick again, both for picks and bets.

So I traded one win for another, but made it worse by placing bets on a live game I thought was a sure win.
