I never expected a Livarpool fan to be the first to throw the first stone, we are brothers in arms, man. Haha

Since we're all at the bottom of the elite now, we can only scrap for bones no one else wants, count me in throwing second and third stones too haha.

Now it's left for us to equal your awful display yesterday -- at this rate, I'm pretty sure we'll wipe you from the headlines heh.

Meanwhile, Everton should have led at HT -- 2 of the best chances, where's DCL's nose for goal gone? I did think Dyche would bring this effect -- switching some players to positions they hadn't played in years.

The only good think today for Chelsea was the magnificent game made by Enzo Fernandez, really good crosses and passing, one key passes.

But asides of that.... nothing new below the sky, maybe a some good things of Madueke but nothing important. Mudryk.... NOTHING.

No body did anything in this match for Chelsea. Had goals and moneyline on Chelsea but they just couldnt do anything today. They are so bad that im thinking of betting every game against them in the future. A new coach is a must in this team for sure. Everything is awful

It's not the manager, it's the players and prolly the club overall.  Put a good manager in there and it'll just be mostly more of the same.  They aren't the team that won the CL with Tuchel anymore.  Not sure what went on after when Roman Abramovich left but these guys haven't looked really great since winning the CL.

And about Enzo, I'm not really convinced with the guy yet.  Not especially with his price tag.  :/

Anyway, I got a parlay with Arsenal, Brentford, Brighton and Newcastle at 5.70 and it looks like it's ending with the first match.

Not that I'm defending Chelsea but come on, if you put in one new person, it's tough enough, all the pressure on one guy, but okay, great players can get lucky.

But if you put in 2, 3 or more new players who probably only said hello to each other before the match, still trying to recover from moving homes, then you for sure can expect something to not work smooth.

Of course, this is to be blamed on the club, not the players. But even I thought Chelsea would win Sad

The Chelsea game was a letdown. I've seen the majority of people, including myself, predict a Blues victory.
And we have new match Everton vs arsenal

Sean Dyche's arrival at Everton is a huge boost for the club. His enthusiasm and commitment to getting the team back on track is inspiring, and it will undoubtedly give the players the boost they need as they prepare to face league leaders Arsenal. His Premier League experience and knowledge will be invaluable in assisting Everton in returning to winning ways.
I don't think Arsenal will be defeated today

Unfortunately, Mount and Cucurella did not allow Mudryk to operate freely, which was a disaster to watch. I'm still wondering what Mount and Gallagher offer to the team right now and why they aren't dropped after dropping 5.6 rating every game. I've noticed Potter doesn't reward hardworking players; Chukwuemeka and Fofana, for example, should be playing ahead of Mount and Kai Havetz right now.

Despite being played out of position, Enzo performed admirably. Madueke also performed admirably in the limited time he was given, and I hope he starts ahead of Ziyech in our next game. I'm sick of supporting Potter; he's not giving me any reasons to believe.

Well. What a disappointment. No Fulham upset (a draw itself was not the likely result but feels a letdwon) and no big money goals. Thought Chelski had it in them even before their spending spree.

Back to the drawing board, Potter.

I guess big money doesn't always win you games Tongue
Anyhow, with an overhauled team I really didn't see Chelsea winning a Friday night game because team chemistry is lacking here and some of the key players that can help the Blues change the game are out injured...and not until the likes of Kante, Pulisic and others get back, Chelsea will have to dig deep.

Odds on Chelsea still aren't dropping, after all the money they have spent they are still at almost 1.6 at home against Fulham.
I honestly feel that odds on Chelsea and Liverpool winning are unrealistically high this week, combined they are at 3 to 1.

Bookies know too well that these big teams don't fare well against the small teams, and with a Fulham team determined to stay above this Chelsea team... It was never going to be easy for the boys.

On the other hand Liverpool here should be a winner as they have a chance to challenge for a top four finish thanks to their games in hand and this could be a big motivator for the team to put in a good fight. My prediction REDS win 2-0.

Graham Potter is literally out of time, his team is tactically dead, and what kind of manager would start a player whose head was at PSG just a few days ago? Ziyech's mind is elsewhere, and you chose to start him despite having more capable players on the bench.

Using Kai as a false 9 when you have D. Fofana and Aubu on the team will always be amusing, and his substitutions isn't any better either. Another disgraceful performance.

I placed some bets already, and will probably go with a Chelsea handicap win as soon as the lineups are out. Fulham is not as good as their results say, whereas Chelsea isn't as bad as theirs currently show.

I think that Chelsea is in front of a difficult encounter just an hour from now and in the pool I have gone for a win for them but the reality is that it won't be that easy as the pool prediction and many prediction sites are favoring Chelsea to even to win to nil.It is a life and death this game for Potter are saying a lot of people and analysts but personally I think that Chelsea management should be wise enough to know that they can't save that much from this season based on their recent form so they should assure Potter of his continuing managing Chelsea and hope for the best for this season while the next one they should raise their stake and aim high because of all these bought players they brought in.

The Blues have a tough run of fixtures coming up, with games against Manchester City, Leicester City, Manchester United and Wolves all on the horizon. Potter will be hoping that his side can pick up some points in these games and put themselves back in the hunt for a top-four finish.

I’m going with blues to win 2:1

I see you are happy and it could work out, but you guys could have at least bought one proper striker that guarantees 20 goals per season in that budget.

Sort of strange to have 10 wingers in the club without proper target man. If you guys had somebody like Drogba or Torres these days I would be much more convinced about success of the project. Something Lukaku should have been but failed spectacularly.

Yes, I am. This is the second time we are completely overhauling the team; the first time didn't go so well because they were all old and we bought them in a panic, but I'm confident these guys will hit the ground running for the remaining fixtures.

We're both aware of how difficult it is to find a decent striker in January; the striker market is always the most difficult; there are plenty of good midfielders and defenders, but few proven strikers. Let's see if Potter can bring in a decent striker in the summer or if Potter sticks with Lukaku to do us another favor now that we have some decent players on the team. BTW We also got D. Fofana ( striker)

Auba dropped out of the champions league squad. Bad decision if you ask me.

What a terrible season for Liverpool. Can't seem to sell the club, so we're stuck with owners that don't want us, we've had one of our worst seasons in recent memory, definitely our worst under Klopp. We've just had the chance to mitigate some of our problems by making a few signings, and we basically didn't do anything. Especially, to that midfield that needed reinforcement. Looks like we've accepted our fate this season. I guess we must be holding out for some big moves in the summer, right?

I'm going for a Fulham win, Arsenal win, Aston Villa win, and Brentford win this weekend. Liverpool have Wolves, so we'll probably lose against then, let's be honest. We haven't had the best of luck with them recently.

I hope so, but you know what all the cultures say about hope. Springs eternal, last to die, has many children, etc. I'm just trying to still watch football with enthusiasm now. Bad results I can stomach for a time when the team plays well but it's hard when even the game on the pitch isn't nice.

Going for Chelsea (huh?) and Arsenal both betting wise but actually picked an Arsenal loss -- only to try and win a yellow cap.

And yeah Konate, gonna miss Real Madrid. Guess it's back to good old Nat Philips... can't imagine if we successfully sold him this season.

Remember to get your predictions in before Chelsea vs Fulham tonight at 8PM GMT. I've gone for a Fulham victory in the end. Even though, Fulham haven't been the best since being promoted, I fancy them here. Chelsea are playing at home though which could impact things. Liverpool have Wolves again tomorrow, I'm not expecting too much from that. Arsenal should be able to secure a win against Everton. Unless, they begin to slip up from here on out.

Also, Liverpool picking up even more injuries. What a bloody season, it seems we can't catch a break, and we just continue to pick up injuries. Konate is out for at least two weeks, and he's probably been our best player recently. Plus, I know from previous announcements it'll probably be a lot longer than the quoted two weeks. We usually give that number as a baseline it seems.

...necessitating the signing of all of our top targets to 8-year contracts (with salary reductions for failure to qualify for the Champions League). The new years starts next summer to stop Todd Boehly madness Grin
That is quite risky to give all those unproven players 8 year long contracts. I read about it on twitter but thought it must be a mistake, who would be crazy enough to do that. It works superb if they continue to develop and become the players everybody expects them to be but reality is that most of them don't do that and Chelsea has a history of making solid players bad.

What happens when player with high salary and 8 year contract plays bad? Top clubs don't want to buy him while lower tier clubs have no many for his wages. And you don't have a way out unless player is willing to take wage reduction and go somewhere. Problem is nobody likes wage reductions Smiley
Honestly, we paid for their entire career. I warned you that Todd is out of control; those players will be at the club until they are 30 or older; this is a tremendous gamble, but if the players do well, the club will save a ton of money over the next eight years. According to what I've been informed, their salary increments/reduction is based on how well they perform, which is another approach to encourage them to give their best. Any player who doesn't perform to expectations will go on loan for the remainder of his contract, just like Bakayoko. This simple.

The only possibility to spend above €300m while avoiding the FFP restrictions was to sign a 7–8 year deal.

Im in the exact same line as you, what its not going like planned?. I know they can work or create another by-pass like, i dont know, loan that player and the other team take the salary, but in some way in the future you can have again a bottleneck. But yes they are really convinced and its ok seeing the development of thinks they know they can hack again the system.
