Spurs has to be one of the most inconsistently good teams in the Premier League. One day they look like world beaters with their counter attacking style, and then other times they look like they'll just about roll over for anyone in the league. This was particularly highlighted with the game against Man City, they looked like every counter attack they could score, yet they play against Man Utd, which lets be honest despite the win aren't particularly good at the moment, and Spurs just look absolutely hopeless.

Chelsea also struggling against Newcastle, I made a bet for a 0-0 at half time as Chelsea has found it hard to break down teams at times, and I always see Newcastle as a first half team, but they usually lose it in the second.

Thanks slaman29! I had to wait until 28th round to get my first yellow cap. And yeah this round was so tough indeed! Good luck for next rounds Wink

And this is another reminder to everyone who has given up that every round has something big to fight for, plus one yellow cap takes you up so many positions in the table, and even if you didn't take it, climbing 3 or 4 positions every round will put you in good stead.

The top 10 is so close that one big round matters.

Anyway this is another big round and great opportunity for another max slam points with many already getting 3 correct predictions wow!

Good thing at least in the end is that Man Utd won and gave me another 1.5 points. So far on 4.5 with 3 won predictions as most of the players have. Tommorow will be really intrested on west ham match and evertons match, this is where i think most points will be lost
I too have 4.5 from 3 wins. However I could do better if I would not chance my pick in Liverpool match from 0 - 2 to 0 - 3 and in Utd match I was very close. The 2nd equalizer from Tottenham lost my hope to get 3 points from that match.

Getting 3 points is pure luck to be honest.

Few matches we have today which are hard to predict. Chelsea should have win but remember Castle has not lost last 8 consecutive match. I would not wonder if Chelsea vs Castle ends up with a draw but it's hard to stick with a draw LOL

3:2 now and just 10 minutes to the end. Every time we start to doubt Ronaldo he comes back strong.
Man! I am glad that I witnessed the record and the beauty of Ronaldo. He was at the top in the match. The first long-range goal was a beauty. No one predicted that was coming.  The 2nd one had great effort and he did not hesitate to send it back of the net. This was a record breaker too. Josef Bican had 805 FIFA recognized goal. With this end goal Ronaldo just broke the record. And the third one was an incredible head which Ronaldo does every time with precise calculation.

Well mostly i agree with correct scores, that is pure luck,i dont know what to expect i seen man utd at 2:1 then i just hoped that it would stay like that. But ofcourse something had to happen and then i just hoped man utd wins the match. Today will be intresting because we have the most games for this round today.

Oh men it is so so annoying,,, beat Manchester City, then lose to Manchester United. Get last minute goals to win the game, then concede hattrick to Oldnaldo and lose. We did not even score actually,,, just got one penalty and one own goal, so I guess I can say we deserved to lose. But if we cannot even take a team low on confidence to win, I guess it means our confidence is even lower!

Really wierd round for me had both matches 1-2 and 2-1 and both ended 0-2 and 2-0 and got total of 3 points but in loss of points against all above me. Now i have Man Utd 2:1 and currently at halftime its 2:1 and its perfect. But just seen that 60-70% of top 10 players have 2:1 so mostly everyone is thinking the same and if it somehow stays like this until very end everyone will bank some good points.

It's often always the case, scores like 2-0, 2-1 are the ones you'll never get alone except you go for an extreme underdog.

I got Liverpool on 2-0, but had Brentford for 2-1 and the same for Man United, I really need this exact score to keep up the pace.

United is leading 2:1, but not sure that it will stay that way, expected lower result, but you never know with Spurs
3:2 now and just 10 minutes to the end. Every time we start to doubt Ronaldo he comes back strong. 3 goals today and standing ovation when subbed, I think even he will be happy. Entertaining game for sure and I would not be surprised if Spurs manage to claw themselves back in the game once more.

yeah, it seems that top10 is now made some gap to others

Liverpool won 0:2, with a clean sheet, while Brentford won with clean sheet as well (did not expected that they will keep clean sheet)

I'm probably going to put one more bet on this week, since I quite like the fixture list for an accumulator. Though, I think I'll forget putting Chelsea on my accumulators for a while.

I put a terribly ill-advised bet on Liverpool to kick off my day -- never do it from a phone when full and lazy. Dawdled on it, and went for a ML when I should have just gone for a regular halttime win and it'd be all settled. As it stands, I'm still going to have to wait for the game to end to see if I have money to go for more accas or end the weekend wondering why I did that. Salah's penalty makes that wait a bit more comfortably but still...

Blacklists? Chelsea, United, Spurs are all out of my bets unless they're the distinct underdog, as Spurs are today.

That's a good point mate. However changing the coach in the middle of tournament while they just passed the winter transfer window isn't a wise thing to do since there is not much the new coach can do with the current squad (except for some great coaches I guess, which obviously Leeds couldn't afford). Hope Jesse Marsch could do something.

Btw, Aston Villa have significant performance lately. Great to see Coutinho playing his best again.

I'm still torn over Bielsa. I just wish his fans and supporters and team -- clearly, they're devastated with losing him -- would have found a way to get the message through to him. That yes, his way of football is why the city is brimming with confidence again, and that is the way football must be played, but I also agree with Trofo that something had to be done. I remember when Klopp was stubbornly doing heavy metal football in the early seasons but he eventually listened to the club and compromised.

Compromise. That's so important. Not to abandon philosophies and entertainment, but to be pragmatic and understand game management. Klopp at BVB and Klopp at Liverpool is a difference of maturity. Something I truly wish Bielsa achieved.

Villa yeah, I'm so happy. I picked them back to back in wins they were expected to find it tough to get, and sadly could only get close and result points as they blew everyone out of the water in terms of expectations.

It's getting worse and worse for Leeds. Getting beat 3-0 by Villa at home and it now looks like Firpo will be out for the rest of the season. The game on Sunday against Norwich is going to be interesting. A loss against them would be devastating and Norwich desperately need to start grabbing some points and Leeds are looking like their best bet right now.

Ah this one gets my attention for real. Hate to see that they are in shit situation currently but firing Bielsa was not the solution imo. If Bielsa cant make Leeds rise, no one can. Such a disgrace thing to do to their 'saviour'.
Usually I am against changing managers but in Bielsa case it is a bit different. He is great manager but he has some strange methods and conceptions for modern football. For instance he never rotates his squads and that results with diminishing performance in second part of the season. Leeds is running 5 km less per game now than at the begging of the season. Stuff like that is felt on the pitch. Granted he had injury problems which limited his rotations even if hew wanted to do it, but this happens with all his teams.

Yeah, maybe saying the sanction is racist may not be the best way to describe the sanction, but the UK sanction on the club is doing more harm to other people than Abramovich himself, there are several UK citizens and tax payers who would have or have had their means of livelihood halted by these sanctions, I believe the measures are rather extreme, why let players and other staffs suffer ? They could easily allow him sell they club and go about whatever means they want all out on him ALONE.
Exactly, there is no doubt that Abramovich is close to Putin and nobody is objecting to sanctions against him but these sanctions seems poorly thought out and targeted at wrong people. Why do you forbid Chelsea selling tickets to supporters? Isn't it better that you broker a deal under the table with Chelsea representative that half of all the money goes directly to help Ukraine? It actually helps people and Chelsea gets a chance to restore a bit of the image and maybe keeps some sponsors.

Slava Ukraini!
I absolutely am not the biggest fan of "Chelski" this season, they've actually ruined five of my accumulators this year. One which actually did come in for 25k. Although, I'll still stick up for them, because the treatment they're receiving is as you put it; racist, and unfair. I get the UK government want to make it look like they're trying to hurt Russia as much as possible, without actually going to war with them, however I don't agree with the mass amount of seizures of normal people's assets either.
Abramovich isn't just ordinary normal person, he is an oligarch who is close to Putin and I don't think it's correct to say that these sanctions is racist. Abramovich already wanted to sell Chelsea, but now this proccess is on hold and it may hurt club seriously. I understand that government wanted to prevent from getting cash, but I think they had to let him sell club.
I agree that some sanctions looks just as attempt to make look that governments is doing something. It's questionable how it will hurt Putin's regime, but it definitely will hurt ordinary people who aren't most responsible for war. But all these sanctions looks so hypocrite when EU and UK continue to buy gas from Russia.

I'm really disappointed with the news I'm hearing this morning about Chelsea being seized by the UK government. I imagine they'll likely approve of a sale to someone that isn't Russian, which you could definitely argue is inherently racist, obviously their pitch will be because of the current owner is a oligarch. Looking at the special license that they've been given to continue operating, it looks like renewing, and buying new players could be a problem until the club is sold. Isn't Rudiger's contract running out this season, and I believe hes said a few times he would be interested in staying. For me, that's a player they absolutely need to keep. Thiago is getting on a bit now, and Rudiger is the only other defender that I think is up to scratch for the top four.

Back to the football on the field; I've got Liverpool to beat Brighton by three goals to nil, Chelsea to beat Norwich by two goals, and keep a clean sheet. I've got that accumulator with Chelsea also to beat Newcastle without conceding next week, and Athletico Madrid to beat Manchester United in the champions league without conceding. It's one of my long shot accumulators again.

I'm sure these sanctions will backfire. They're trying to make it look like they're doing something without actually doing anything because they're worried it'll kick off WW3. Well I don't think Putin will take too kindly to the economy being crippled and them directly arming Ukraine. At some point I think it's going to escalate especially with the mounting Russian losses and the invasion seemingly not going to plan. Pretty much all those Russian tanks that are being blown up are done so with British weapons. It's like grabbing someone else's hand to punch Russia in the face then saying it wasn't me. The UK/Nato might not have boots on the ground but they might as well have. I find the whole situation pretty hypocritical to be honest. When is the world going to start holding all countries to the same standards?

So the UK government has block the sale of the club? This is disturbing news to Chelsea fans.
Thought he was going to hand it over to a delegate under some sort of donation/charity foundation for the time being or even to a Swiss elite who owns other sports teams. Ah well, they were all just rumors.
Yeah back to what really matters.. the matches on the pitch. Need to wait a few more days until those commence.
Think we have been spoiled with all those made up matches being played mid week since the season restarted.
Not only block the sale, they have put a number of ridiculous measures in place. Almost like the guy who wrote those regulations hates Chelsea and has just decided that this is perfect opportunity to make their lives hell.

They can't sell tickets, except to people who have season tickets. No merchandise sales. Traveling budget for away games has to be under 20k pounds. I mean WTF, how does this measure help Ukraine or puts extra pressure on Putin? Is that amount even enough to go play against Nice in Europe? I guess no flying this time for blue boys Smiley

Witting stuff from head after reading it on twitter trough the day so there is possibility that there is some fake news in that as well. Did not double check to be sure.

They should just let Abramovich sell the club without all the red tape, otherwise it's the club and fans that will suffer. They want him to sell it but have made it practically impossible for them to do so? Doesn't make any sense. They'll just end up selling it to some other dodgy immoral fucker with dirty money anyway so they cycle will just continue. They should really look into privatising clubs and getting them majority fan owned or something otherwise it's just always going to be about the money.

Congrats man, very nice getting all those close scores.

Exact scores are bitching hard to get and I feel like they are mostly luck. Maybe it feels that way to me since I can't get them. Some players manage every week so I could be wrong Smiley

Thanks bud! Ikr, have no idea too why they can pick exact score regularly in every week lol.
