Anyone ballsy enough for United upset?
I know I am not going for it but United has that something to surprise better teams since they like when they can be the ones counter attacking and not making the plays. The more I think about it, I believe United is just the team City hates playing against. Still not enough to actually place the bet but I will watch it and maybe play something live.

For now I just have Arsenal ML from Premier League since Arsenal defense should be more then enough to stop Watford attacks.

Watching Liverpool now and I can't believe they did not conceded the goal already. West ham had some incredible chances in this game.

Saw parcels of the first half, also thought we were lucky, and I was even prepared to get the Mane goal offside, VAR was good this time around. Every season we seem to get one or two different teams we have trouble against. Glad we survived it, have to find a way to understand why they're a tough opponent for us.

I had most of those games as low-scoring draws. 0-0 and 1-1s. Hoping Liverpool game finishes 1-0 for the full three points for me, though I just need them to win on a three-fold acca so another goal wouldn't hurt.

I had Newcastle only as a draw, expected wins everywhere, only got the Wolves one wrong (I knew they have a rather horrendous home record but for some reason though they're doing things different now after their last home win, they also seem to have gotten out of their 1-0 games). You were the only exact score for Liv-Hammers.

Consistency is key here in order to be able to fight for the top spot.

agree, consistency is the key
no bad rounds, should be good on average, and few good rounds here and there would keep you in upper part
for top spots, you need more good rounds, but it is better to avoid really bad ones

better avoid spoons, than getting yellow caps, and you will be within top 10-15 people

back to topic, expected more goals on Liverpool - West Ham match

Another week another me another same results. Im always between 10th and 15th place in weekly rounds its just impossible for me to go for upper places. Thank god im currently in 10th place overall that counts for prizes. I want to attack other top places but just dont have much luck in it. Hopefully i at least save this place
Never lose hope. I think I could be the one who almost gave up but returning well. At some point I was even out of top 30 when I missed few weeks matches to pick. But then after coming back I am constantly giving my best to keep up with the trend, luck is helping too. Hopefully I will in at least at top 10.

What an eventful match! We almost conceded a goal but lucky enough to block it. Liverpool could score more but in few occasions they were unlucky too. We could even score in the 2nd minute. The chance for MoSalah has been wasted even from the six-yard box, we started from a disaster but Mane is keeping us ahead. Liverpool could have at least 3 to 4 goals and West Ham could have at-least one goal. But anyway, we are leading by 1 - 0. Let's hope we get more goals in the second half.

Im not losing hope my goal was and is the first place. I would be satisfied with top5 positions but first position is the goal for me like for everybody. But i hope couple of nice rounds so i can get some decent points to try and have a chance to fight for first place until very end. Its getting pretty intresting now

I see that in these last weeks you have done well consistently which you missed in a couple of bad run weeks.Consistency is key here in order to be able to fight for the top spot.Seventeen points are nothing if you manage to get really good results during the upcoming weeks.I am extremely surprised at the win of Crystal Palace and Brentford with Brentford coming from a lot of lost games. That is where I lost points and I did a mere 5 points so far.I have lost hope but I continue to put my predictions every week, even if I get to top 10 which is not impossible because of points difference I would not call it a success anyway.

What a stressful last 10 to 15 minutes. West Ham were almost having it. Every chances was taking the breath away. If they would score today then it could be one of the most important goal for this season. The happiest team we would see City from the goal. But boys were strong. I don't know what would justify our defense but at the end we were able to defend.

Hoping Liverpool game finishes 1-0 for the full three points for me, though I just need them to win on a three-fold acca so another goal wouldn't hurt.
We had many chances, many chances to score. West Ham has the same but the 1 - 0 result was surprising. In the pool I had 4 - 0 for Liverpool so obvious I did not see all those attacks coming from West Ham.

I see now you are in 10th position and the difference between first place to yours is only 16.5. You just need one or two very good rounds and keep making decent scores in the coming round. Good luck man.

Being in the top 10 at this moment doesn't mean much Grin with so long left. It's always close at the top so people can easily drop out or move up. Consistency is the key I think.

Now how often do you get teams scoring so many goals against teams who are supposed to be even matches? I back Villa to win so happy for the result but 4 goals? To none? And watched parts of the game so easily could have been 4 to nil at half time. Coutinho is so good.

Then Chelsea winning also not a surprise but another hammering without conceding also a bit surprising. Then Wolves letting in two?

Weird night tbh. Only I underestimated Toon army. Otherwise, great for me so far. Come on you Reds!

Really weird day, as you say there were way too many one sided outcomes in games that did not look to have so clear favorites. What is worse there wasn't that much of field advantage as well. Lost all my tickets with multiple wrong choices so just played a late one to salvage the day a bit.

Watching Liverpool now and I can't believe they did not conceded the goal already. West ham had some incredible chances in this game.

I'm currently 11th for the week and just above you on the overall table at 9th position.

It's been a really messy day for my picks despite the goals galore, I've only been saved by the 3 points I got from Newcastle vs Brighton, I'm pretty surprised by the amount of user that went for Aston Villa to win against Southampton, given the latter's recent form, that's their second loss so far this year (in all competitions) so how could they have seen it coming ? and 4 unanswered goals, wow!.

Liverpool vs West Ham have been every entertaining, it's half time with Liverpool ahead, but they don't seem to be in total control. The score line could easily have been 5 goals combined, thanks to some misses and superb clearance at some points to.

No way we are going to lose any point today. That 3 - 2 should turn out 5 - 0 for Liverpool today LOL

^ That's okay, lee. Everton just need to keep on playing like they did against Citeh and they'll be fine. It's City who will feel like they cheated death already. Jitters all down their spine. Good. But Liverpool just need to keep on winning and focus on their game. Pity about Thiago, was hoping to see him back, but that's fine too.

Remember the Everton handball that was not given as a penalty by the VAR official?

Well,,, it seems they (the refs) have now admitted it and issued an apology to Lampard. https://www.football365.com/news/everton-duo-lampard-kenwright-receive-apology-var-controversy-man-city-rodri

As we all could see. There was no offside. There was a clear handball. Even Pep himself said penalty,,, And yet VAR made the call and the referee did not get a chance to review and make the decision.

I do not see a conspiracy,,, but Pep got off lucky and Everton are closer to relegation than they want. VAR is terrible in EPL.

Less said about Spurs Smiley

I got 0 points from yesterday game as I thought Burnley needed the win more in order to fight to get out of relegation. What I have noticed is happening a lot of times during this season of Premier League which has not happened this many times in previous seasons is that whenever a team needs the win badly, for example to get ahead and fight for a place in European Competitions or to get out of the relegation zone like the match of yesterday was for Burnley these teams only keep losing. As an example of losing when needed the most to win to enter in a place for European Competitions was Tottenham a couple of weeks ago.

I had 2:1 for Foxes and changed it to 1:1

did the same mistake
it was better that I did not know that there is a match tonight, would keep 1:2, but had to change Smiley
and put a bet during second half, for both-to-score, it was a tempting @4 on half-time

Leicester and Tottenham, I should skip those in betting

Bloody Leicester, I had a few bets I had them to draw with Burnley 0-0, and Tottenham to draw 0-0 in the FA cup. Plus, I then had a few champions league games. It was looking so promising until they messed it up. I wasn't convinced they deserved it either. Although, I only caught a little bit of the second half.

@Welsh, LFC_Bitcoin, hilariousandco: was saying how teams just seem to lie down and give up against City, and Pep himself's just confirmed this, naming, with some difficulty, the only teams that attack them in the league: Liverpool, Arsenal, Leeds, no surprise but Villa and Brighton also get the nod haha.
Even the refs recently....nah I'm not that bitter, I swear. The thing is I do think a lot of teams end up sitting back against them which plays into their type of players perfectly, it's when teams attack Man City that they start having problems. I don't know what it's whether it's fear or what, but teams just sit back against the better teams. We have it a lot, and we can sometimes struggle to break that down. However, Manchester City have different types of players which can break it down much easier.

Despite that, they've been really struggling recently. Even tonight in the FA cup, Pep names a full strength side, and yeah they end up winning it 2-0, however they looked as bad as a 2-0 win with dominant possession can get you. They looked awful considering the statistics against a lower league team, that's struggling to stay in their current league.

I thought I missed the chance to put in my prediction but I just saw I had Leicester to win 2-1, I probably put over the weekend or something. If I had done the prediction today, I would have gone for a draw 1-1, I think.
This game is one of those that was postponed due to covid cases so you probably put your prediction in a long time ago when it was originally scheduled Smiley
I had 2:1 for Foxes and changed it to 1:1, does not seem like a good decision since Leicester was much better team tonight. Still a few minutes left for Burnley to do something, keeping my fingers crossed.

We have one game tonight, Burnley - Leicester, don't forget to put your predictions in. If this was played 2 months ago I would have placed big bet on Leicester but they have injury and form problems while Burnley had a nice transfer window and started to play much better. I actually think Burnley is closer to winning tonight but my bet goes on both to score. Leicester has one of the worst defenses this season and they should be able to score something as well.

Leicester have started quite  well but then it was all VAR to the rescue, otherwise Leicester would have been a goal behind by now.
