I just hope that we do not lose the excitement very quickly and it happen today.
Manchester City, and Arsenal I think are the games that decide this league.
There are two more matches Liverpool vs Utd and Liverpool vs Tottenham. These four matches might be hard for us to win, considering easy wins against others. All these excitements LFC fans are having because Kane and Son duo were able to fire up and put City behind. If they do the same against Liverpool then we lose all hopes.

On the other hand City does not seem to have many hard matches upcoming except the match against Liverpool. With this team they should be winning easily against all the teams they will play rest of the season.

Well,,, I was definitely in my right mind when I picked my team Spurs to beat Manchester City and they did, in injury time Smiley

I know everybody says the top team always gets help but I definitely remember when they got the penalty also in injury time to draw 2-2 I really thought the ref was just doing all to help Pep.

GL against Arsenal, we need your help to catch Top 4 spot Sad
So are you going with Arsenal tonight 😉?

The thing is, Liverpool are going up against a very in form, and determined Arsenal squad. While, I definitely think we should beat them, Arsenal have been playing some excellent football. I would normally bet for Liverpool to win, with a clean sheet because of the odds are always there, however Arsenal have just been too fluid in attack to risk that. Seriously, at times they look absolutely brilliant going forward. It's their defense that's the issue.

If I was going to make a prediction, I'd probably go with a 2-1 to Liverpool. Though, I'm not particularly confident going in this game, if we do win then I'll probably be a little more louder on our chances of winning the league. Manchester City, and Arsenal I think are the games that decide this league.

Oh and one guy actually predicted 1-1 yatty and he got 1.5 points!
I would like to ask yatty (not sure what is his btt username), did he really thought it would be a draw? There was another user who picked Palace over City, I doubt they were in their right mind 😉

I watched 2nd half of the match. Every block in the Palace defense at the last 10 to 15 minutes were exciting for me. PL has record of late goal and I was praying it not to happen. With this draw Liverpool has not great opportunity to win the title race. We need to ensure that we do not slip a point in any upcoming match and obviously win against City in April.

Talking about slipping points, let's face Arsenal today.

I think Liverpool has their motivation to the highest level for the game of tonight and most probably they will win the game, even a narrow win would work as that would make them be just 1 point behind Manchester City.Arsenal as strong as may look lately still has not the capability to hold back a team that is fighting for the title which looks closer than ever now in the Premier League.Personally I think Liverpool will win 2-1 against Arsenal tonight.

Well it looks like Manchester City didn't take it that seriously the game and they just got one point here when in fact they should have easily gotten three.I said before that the odd of 1.30 was big for Manchester City comparing it with last year odds of such games at 1.12 max.Now it is just a matter of time until Liverpool catches them and even overtakes them in the standings,I doubt now Liverpool can have the luxury of making any error in the upcoming game considering City result.

hehehe How many bets this game destroy?

All the Man city wins and handicaps of that win.

All the over x ammount of goals, also the incredible 0.5.

All the Both team to score.

All the multiplet bets or Betbuilder (this maybe).

All the superbru predictions...

Now the city feels the breath of Liverpool behind the neck.

Well, it looks like you guys are all having fun. Only 9 games left for City and 10 for Liverpool,,, but meanwhile there is still 3rd and 4th spot to fight for. As I just saw and mentioned in Sportsbet ANN thread,,, Arsenal if they win all games in hand they will be a big gap between 4th and 5th, but Spurs also can climb above United if they win games in hand. It would have been a lot easier if we at least drew at OT but I pray for many more upsets like this Smiley

btw. casperBGD congratulations on a great result in this round, even if it's still not finished. Now you are just 0.5 points behind the top place.

yeah, great round, not finished, but you are also good, three more matches to go in this round

it propelled me to second position, which is great, and open up a fight for top spot (although I am happy to secure any of top10 position all-together)
moreover, won yellow cap in La Liga pool this week

There is an easy game in paper for Manchester City tonight against Crystal Palace
~snip

there is no this kind of tactics in Premier, they all play every match as if it is really important for them
it is different in Italy or Spain, but I expect Crystal Palace to fight in this match (not that I expect that they will take point or something, but they will not make it easier for City to get points)

race for the title is interesting, it seemed that City broke at one moment, but three points distance is within reach, for sure

see City results in PL over the past few years, you will see that mostly in this part of the season they are doing worse. somehow it fits me with the continuation of the competition in the CL, it seems that this competition burdens them and they do not give their best. Games like this last night against Crystal Palace are very hard to win if you are not fully focused.
here I see a big chance for Liverpool, who does not have that kind of pressure, especially in the next CL period when much stronger opponents are coming.

btw. casperBGD congratulations on a great result in this round, even if it's still not finished. Now you are just 0.5 points behind the top place.

Well I'm hoping good old Vieira finds it in himself to pull off a double against City. It's not quite the same lineup against them though but that away smash and grab was legendary and played to City's weakness: aerial threats, setpiece wobbles, absolute physicality. We've discussed this is how you go against them and it works.

Pacey Zaha is featuring and as always, Palace are a threat whenever he's playing, and he loves going up against Jesus, but an unknown factor for me is Mateta instead of Benteke and Ayew, have to admit haven't watched him play much.

"Only" 10/1 on Palace, but I think it's worth it.

There is an easy game in paper for Manchester City tonight against Crystal Palace and normally it should be like this because Crystal Palace plays for nothing, they cannot be relegated and they cannot fight to get a place in European Competitions. However it is exactly in these type of games that Manchester City should be very careful to not underestimate them otherwise they risk to screw up and guess what next,Liverpool will be equal on points with them if they manage to win their game. That 1.30 odd looks like a big one for a team like Manchester City compared to last year odds at such games which were 1.12 or so.

Guys... if you want a granteed win on your bets... just ask me what I was going to bet on... and then bet on the opposite team. Who would have thought Watford would win that bloody match 2 - 1 against Southampton?  Roll Eyes

Well, I bet a bunch of money on Southampton beating them....and it kicked me in the teeth again. Hopefully Stake will give a bonus for the Watford win, because they are their sponsor. (this will not even come close to the amount I have lost)  Roll Eyes

Even for me it was the biggest surprise Watford. Most of the games though ended really like predicted during this week so far.Manchester United did turn things back with a triple goals scored by Cristiano, defying his age and doing a triple in such age I think it was the 59 triple of his career making him for me the best player in the World.I was able to get 2 correct scores yesterday from both Liverpool and Brentford games, all other I think I got 1 or 1.5 points in all other games so far except Southampton game and Manchester United when I got for a win for Tottenham. It was a good week overall although it is completely irrelevant now as I think the top 10 are already defined and I find it hard they will change in the remaining few weeks to play.

Kakmakr then you better share all your picks before games start so we can adjust Wink But no,,, it is not just you, only 2 users picked Watford to win and actually 6 others went for a draw. It seems Southampton can be in great form but if you have one special guy playing against you,,, nothing matters anymore. Just like Ronaldo against my team.

Top 10 is so close, count the difference from #1 to #10 and that is just one week worth of points.

It will be so much interest this finish of the Premier having a lot of teams and Big teams fighting each other for the European places, and the relegation fight seem like can be a long run between 5/6 teams.

Plus City Liverpool seems to go to the final for know who can be the Champion, so with this panorama we have matchs very interesting.

Everton, though, dire, dire. Wolves reminded us their 4 goals was a fluke, back to the 1-0 wins, but I made a mistake of backing Villa again, Hammers had to win this at home, didn't they? Same can be said of Watford, but it was always going to be tight today with no clear favs in all the games.
Watford is the biggest surprise of this game week for me. Would never guess they can take full 3 points away against very solid Saints squad. Killed one of my tickets but Arsenal now looking good so I'll get it all back with a little bit of interest.

Was sweating on Villa game since I had both to score and they took a lot of time before goals started flowing in. That one was customary luck needed to clinch nice ticket Smiley

Yeah, Ronaldo hattrick papered over what was essentially a vintage poor show from United, highlighted by the 2 goals directly from poor defensive play (Maguire's face when he does something dumb has almost become something to bet on now).

It was not the entire defence though just silly Maguire with his silly performances as usual that made United looks like a clown but yeah his hattrick literally saves Maguire this week. Bookies should start adding bets regularly everytime United play wether Maguire will make silly mistake that leads to goal or not for the entire 90 minutes. Im pretty sure he made mistakes like 90% of the time

yeah, Everton is close to relegation, hopefully Lampard will find some magic to leave us in Premier league (nevertheless, expected this Wolves win)
Watford win really coat me off-guard, did not see that coming, Southampton is playing solid football lately, but yeah, Watford needed these points

Leeds won important match in relegation fight, Norwich is a must win, I would say, and West Ham had to win as well

now to watch Arsenal, really would like to see them in CL next season

Spurs has to be one of the most inconsistently good teams in the Premier League. One day they look like world beaters with their counter attacking style, and then other times they look like they'll just about roll over for anyone in the league. This was particularly highlighted with the game against Man City, they looked like every counter attack they could score, yet they play against Man Utd, which lets be honest despite the win aren't particularly good at the moment, and Spurs just look absolutely hopeless.

Chelsea also struggling against Newcastle, I made a bet for a 0-0 at half time as Chelsea has found it hard to break down teams at times, and I always see Newcastle as a first half team, but they usually lose it in the second.

Yeah, Ronaldo hattrick papered over what was essentially a vintage poor show from United, highlighted by the 2 goals directly from poor defensive play (Maguire's face when he does something dumb has almost become something to bet on now). But Spurs as well, really, haphazard passing, slow to get themselves in position... Chelsea super lucky to get that late goal.
