What is the deal in Brighton, snow? I see the game is postponed because of traffic problems and should be played a bit later.
Can't be snow, most of the UK is around 10 Celsius nowhere near snowy conditions, with Brighton being in the South you'd probably expect it to be a little milder than most places. I'm reading it's due to a car crash on a motorway, the A23. It's a bit odd to be honest, I can't recall many games being postponed due to accidents on roads leading up to a game.  Might be a particularly bad accident though.

Looks like the accident happened a few hours ago according to the argus although I can't comment on their reliability, since I'm not overly familiar with them. Though, they're predicting a 45 minute delay, which is probably about normal.

Spurs stormed Leeds in first 20 minutes and settled the question of the winner very early on. I just read before the game that Leeds squad is running on average 5 km less then when season started. Very clear stat that shows how tired the team is and I can't believe they did not buy some players in January transfer window. They are becoming relegation candidate fast, same as Brentford.

Newcastle likely have enough to stay up.

The writing is on the wall for me, I think Norwich, Brentford, and Leeds will be relegated this season. I think Burnley will pull it off yet again, and while I do want to see Everton go down, I don't think it's going to happen. I think Watford have enough in them to secure safety for another season.

I've always said I'd love to have Son here at Liverpool, fantastic player which I'm surprised Spurs have been able to keep a hold of. I actually think despite Kane being a decent player, I think Son complements him in such a way, that I think he would struggle in other teams without him. I'll be honest I was slightly worried about Man City getting Kane, but I do think he wouldn't have the same effectiveness without Son going with him.

@buway @Welsh I totally understand the hate for a team in the same city. I do not even live or go near London but I hate Arsenal for no reason (I have to tolerate them for Sportsbet  Grin ). It is the way football is and I never feel nice to see people using scarves with both teams on it. So feel free to hate Everton!
I'm all for unity between the fans, I think there's a difference of hatred, and rivalry. However, I've seen a few Liverpool fans suggest they pity Everton, I definitely do not when it comes to their league position. We are rivals, we are suppose to banter each other. Although, I think it goes without saying if I was offered the league title or Everton getting relegated, I'd obviously prefer the league title. I'm not obsessed with Everton's demise, it would just be hilarious if they did get relegated, especially with the players they have at their disposal. They're by no means a bad team, they're just going through a rough spot.

Besides, I'd expect any Everton fan wanting to see us go through a rough patch again, and for a few decades bar a few competition wins sprinkled in, we've been pretty bad at times to watch. I remember when we had Voronin, and N'goo leading our lines, those were the days.

Kane and Son both scored,,,
They are now the top combined scorer (37) in PL.  It was Drogba/Lampard before. Well I was too thinking like you. Sprus will win but will surely concede one or more hence I had a 1 - 2 for Sprus LOL

Prediction wise, though, the only time I've ever gone against them is when Liverpool play
That's exactly what I do too. I mean the only team who do not lose before the kick off against City is Liverpool. Besides I think I never expect any team to win against Liverpool even if we are in the worse shape.

Dream for me come true! Kane and Son both scored,,, but funnily enough I lost my bet today because I chose Spurs and BTTS,,, I mean I know we can score goals but we also know how to let other teams score against us, and Leeds is so aggressive I was 100% sure we would give them at least one goal but still, a win is a win, I have to say I never mind losing bets if they win.

Spurs 3 goals up by half time, I thought this would be a massacre especially when Leeds got themselves carded all over the place soon after restart. Looks like they might nick a goal if they keep on trying, but they're desperately short of quality finishers this team... one easy-ish shot on target to show for all their industry.
Spoken like a true Red. I have to admit, I bet against City regardless of the opposition, and the odds in double-digits just makes me think even less.

Prediction wise, though, the only time I've ever gone against them is when Liverpool play -- usually to my detriment in this pool as it's been draws more than wins IIRC except during the 2019 period where Klopp hadn't learnt to put his brakes on yet.

I definitely would love to see them get relegated too, actually, spending all that money, and that that super stadium they're so proud of. I actually do remember thinking when Ancellotti was there the city would probably enjoy a lot of European football but well, they never managed to climb the rungs I thought they needed to fall off.
Good point, I sometimes put a 0-0 or 1-1 draw on when Manchester City play the lesser teams, as you get some insane odds. Usually a minimum of like 7.00, but often more. Today though, I just can't see anyway Everton get a point. They've been terrible, and betting against them this season has got me some cash out wins.

I'll be honest I do feel slightly spiteful when I say I'd like to see them get regelated, but that's what football rivalry is all about, right? Cheesy. I mean the entire time Rafa was there was like a dream come true for me, almost like he went there to put them as low as possible, especially selling one of their best players Cheesy.

I'm going for a 3-0 win by Man City. Don't see Everton seeing much of the ball, and I think they'll set up a low block to prevent the goal difference getting too insane, but ultimately let in a few.

Even though it benefits us for Everton to win, I can never bet in their favour, so I've gone for a Manchester City win, without conceding, and is a part of a larger accumulator which at the moment seems to be going well. I'm actually hoping Everton get regelated, as that would really rile them up. I wouldn't want them to stay down though, as I enjoy the derby matches we have with them. Its just Everton around two years ago when they started spending a lot on players thought they were now the kings of Merseyside, so it'll be nice for them to have a dose of reality. Obviously, they've already had that by losing so much, but I think I would enjoy them getting regelated just this one time.

Absolutely brother. And I hope it starts tonight with Everton. Go at them, they are the slowest team in Champions League in terms of transition, and that also affects them coming back to defend counters. I celebrated Spurs last week, will for sure celebrate Everton haha.

We are right back, and April clash is coming up nicely.

Oh, and they also don't have Matip. I'm not a huge fan of his gangly forays up but hey if it gets a goal every few games, go for it man.

Barely 15 minutes into the game and Tottenham seemed to have gotten all 3 points already, 2 Nil up with no real pressure or response whatsoever from Leeds. Unless Tottenham decides to be the Tottenham we all know, then I don't see Leeds getting back from this.

Southampton was expected to win yesterday based on their form but I didn't expect Norwich not to score so I had an 3-1 prediction for that game. There is not much left until the Premier League ends so based on where I am now I don't expect anything anymore,I know 15 points away from 10th place is not much but it becomes impossible to overtake when games end like predicted. We need a lot of surprise results in order to have some change of standings.

I think the one who deserve more to win this is buwaytress who has led the standings for so long.

Surprised (or not really) to see a high number of exact scores. I'd actually thought I had it at 3-1 -- watched the game and thought at least the late goal would give me an extra half point. Seeing back-to-back exact scores from Gooners and Saints warms my heart.

Like you say, if teams have a real go at Man City instead of being so submissive they really aren’t that good. Their high line can be got at on the counter attack.

We are right back in this title race, Klopp’s men are ready.

Beforehand, everyone had thought that Arsenal would win this match, at home in London. For a long time it looked like that was not going to happen. 10 minutes before the end, still 0-1 behind, and equalized in the 82nd minute. Still great that they still manage to turn it around and make it 2-1 almost in the last second of the game. That is not only luck, but also has to do with class. You have to be able to enforce that kind of happiness.
Are you with us in the sportsbet's pool? What is your superbru username?
No offense, what is your superbru username again please?

Yes but when you look at your opponents they bet the same and you need to be in advantage over them. Its o most important to get at least .5 points more them them. Now i got 1.5 points but all other players in top 10 received 3 points and that for me is a big loss now im behind even more and that kills me. I hope tommorow i get a lot of good results honesty
It's still a long road. We have many rounds left means many matches. You will have your shots. Getting 3 points is awesome but as I said you can not expect it. It's pure luck. One goal from Norwich could give you advantage but it did not happen. Those who had 3 points, they did not plan for it, they were just lucky for this match. Truth is they were as blindly picked just as you and me. It's fine that you can predict an outcome of a match (win-lose) but getting exact score! I do not think anyone will be much confident saying that today team x will win by exactly 3 - 0 goal or put any number in both side.

Most of the players in the pool have went with Southampton to win but i have went with 2-1 like you did for Southampton aswell.
Hopefully both of us get an exact score. Good thing is not like the Arsenal match where everyone o most predicted 2-1. So now to get important points in this match we need an exact score
It does not matter what others get, to me it matters what I am getting. A 1 point is better than having 0 point. But if you get 1.5 points then it's always satisfying. Expecting 3 points does not come to real most of the time but if you get it then you are just lucky.

Since my last post, Southamton are playing better. At some point the commentators were saying they had 5 shots towards the goal and all were shots on goal. I would like Southamton to score one more goal to make the lead 2 - 0 and perhaps before the final whistle at injury time let Norwich score a goal LOL

Well done BitcoinGirl.Club! You see,,, the guys you mentioned here have been saying it every single time to every single person who at some point or other that it is never about giving up. And that is the beauty of playing every week, there is always something to win.

Congrats to BitcoinGirl for winning the yellow cap.You see you should keep playing as we already told you and chances are here although difficult they exist and you can keep trying to win the yellow cap which is a side prize every week.
Thanks brothers. You need a bit of luck too like some of us had in Arsenal match. Without having exact scores it's hard to get handsome points in rounds.

I'm going for a 2-1 prediction.
I have gone with 2 - 1 for Southamton too. Almost 30th minute of the first half and no score yet. I was out and now just tuned on the cable 10 minutes before. I have not seen many chances for any team yet. But let's hope the best for Southamton and get some points.

Hey, PM me your Sportsbet Username and I'll get you a 1 mBTC Free Bet

So we have one game tonight to kick off the week in PL, Saints against Norwich. If this was played a month or few earlier I would have been sure of saints victory now this improved Norwich can make it tough for them. I still took Saints ML on my multi in absence of good matches today but I feel this will be a though one. In Broja we trust, he is in incredible patch of form.

Like you, I've also held that City aren't actually that great. Teams just seem to play against them with a resistance mentality, but go for their throats like Spurs and Palace did, as we've always done, and they're vulnerable, they're panicky, they give away fouls and make mistakes. Problem is, half of the job's done for them before the match even starts as (most) teams set up for damage control against them. I'm hoping and counting on Everton to smack them down tonight. Richarlison can be a handful, hope he turns it on tonight.

Absolutely spot on, buwaytress. Sometimes the lower teams have 2 games in a week & maybe City is first followed by another game 3-4 days later. They literally rest their best players against City in the first game to conserve energy for the perceived, more winnable one a few days later. Essentially they are giving up vs City before the game is played. This has happened 3 or 4 times this season which really pisses me off.

Like you say, if teams have a real go at Man City instead of being so submissive they really aren’t that good. Their high line can be got at on the counter attack.

@Welsh yeah Pukki's been having some peculiar revival of form -- never in doubt when playing for his national team, but always seems to get stuck after promotion from Championship. But like Arsenal, I'm really hoping Southampton are carried by form.

Also missed your comment on Liverpool earlier about not giving up home until the maths says it's not possible -- I've been asking and looking for treble and quadruple specials for months, and tried being cheeky putting up markets on p2p when we were 12 points trailing, no takers haha.

I got another exact score yesterday for Arsenal game but from what I have seen in the pool, during this week everyone did a pretty good job and I think this to be one of those weeks if not the week with the highest number of points in total for all the participants of the pool.
~snip

yeah, it is interesting to see that much of a consensus on 2:1, when we look at odds, that were not that low on Arsenal, and Wolves form, where they won almost all matches from last few (they lost one, against Arsenal, at home)
obviously, Arsenal play is good to beat Wolves, but last night was a tough one, and Wolves were in the lead almost to the end, and have a draw in pocket nearing end, with their defense it was really unexpected to conceive in last minutes

Southampton tonight, should be similar match in result terms?
