Didn't even get a close score but doubt many people would have with that scoreline! One more week and then we'll know I think how it all plays out.
This season I missed two things.

1. Liverpool lost too many matches or drew them which eventually a good reason for me to score less in the pool
2. I was not able to hit many correct scores, in fact very few so far.

Life, Love and Laughter...
Anyway here’s another one:  Man City to win to nil at 2.07.  City won their last 11 away matches and have kept a clean sheet against NUFC in their last three matches.  If you want a little more value there’s City to win both halves at 2.60.  Watch it win cos I passed.  Lol.
Will they give their best in this game since they won the league? Most certainly not, they are playing only for CL title, everything else is just obstruction. I am thinking PEP will use his 3rd squad in the league and not risk anything before CL final.

That being said they are still good enough to cover your proposed bets but I am not betting on City until next season. Better to throw my money on teams who have lots of motivation.

As long as Ruben Dias plays along with John Stones and with Fernandinho since yeah..  its going to be the third squad, I’m pretty sure Newcastle will have a hard time getting a goal in.  City has decent enough players to play up front and could get at least one in.  So City to nil at 2.07.  Watch it win cos I won’t be betting it.  Cheesy

@Harkorede @hilarious
Probably, yeah, I thought it would go in too but from the angle behind the goal Alisson's eyes and hands were following, and he actually comfortably would reach the bottom corner, but anyway, I suppose Nat doesn't mind not getting an unwanted OG to his name. Just don't want Fernandez up the charts. Personally happy Salah levelled with Kane now for Golden Boot. Will be a nice bonus to get that one more time.

I'm going for another Toons win. Won't be the same 25/1 Benitez win 2 seasons ago that everyone thought won Liverpool the title, but still =)

Well done on your yellow Harko. 2 points behind you, I couldn't make it!

Strange that they gave the goal to Bruno, when it seemed unclear if the ball was going in. You could see Alisson ready to comfortably catch it, only for our boy Nat to deflect it into the roof with some gusto heh. But he totally redeemed himself, fighting to get the goal and eventually assisting Jota. I gotta say, we were dominating throughout and deserve the HT lead.

It probably was going in to be honest but you can never be sure and could have easily hit the post. Should have been given as an own goal though as it completely changed the direction of the ball.

Allison was completely beaten if you ask me, although it could have struck the post but Allison sure didn't have that covered... It should be an own goal nevertheless and why wasn't there a penalty call for the first handball by United after the 2nd minute ?

It was a bad round for most as there were a lot of upsets. Didn't think Liverpool would beat United especially given their recent form. Newcastle v City tonight could be tricky as well. Both have nothing to play for now and City could put out a b team to give some players a game and get their PL medal if they've not played the minimum amount of matches.

I couldn't have hoped for a better week, lol!

I'll probably wait for the line up before locking my pick for tonight's fixture, but since both teams have nothing to lose I'd still expect City to get the job done regardless, because the likes of Sterling and Aguero who recently barely getting game minutes would likely be in the starting line up.

This is probably my worst round so far lol. I was trying to be 'smart' and started to pick few unlikely result to get few more points lol

Have a betbuilder that just needs a yellow and a win, was actually going for leads at both halves but changed my mind. Silly me =p

45 more minutes!
Looks good for you LFC fans Smiley My BTS has passed nice and early, just how I like it and now I am just enjoying the show. Could use some more goals/assists from Fernandez, Shaw and Jota to boost my fantasy points.

By the way, Chelsea losing this match could be a blessing for Liverpool. They just need to ensure that they do not lose any match and it starts from tomorrow against Utd.

Im not gonna lie, thats going to be hard. Instead of just winning all the last 4 matches, Liverpool needs Chelsea to lose to get a shot on the top 4. Leicester might somehow win against Chelsea probably so cross your fingers

Its going to be a big match tomorrow, United wont lose this one especially after losing against Leicester

Anyway I think Toma is pretty much set for the 1st spot of this season, still with 19 points difference from the 2nd . I cant believe someone would stand on top for weeks , great consistency

Did you mean against Newcastle? They should win by more goals lol but here I think Trofo has a point.

They are definitely saving their energy for the CL final.

Today Chelsea did not look much affective in the forward. They should have score few goals and with this performance I do not think they will be able to challenge City in the final. City are far better team than this Chelsea.

Most of the offensive and middlefield players were resting even when losing tuchel decided to put in the bench guys that are usually on the bench.Havertz went out as well so he could save him for UCL final

I had Man Utd to win 2 - 1, but looks like I might have a change of mind here  Huh

EDIT: I've switched ship, I'm with the foxes.
It was a well worth switching with full three points LOL

So official City are now PL Champions. Leicester played really well in the 2nd half and this win possibly took away all the hope for Liverpool to be in top 4. I have not done the maths yet but does anyone think that Liverpool has a chance to be in top 4?

And it wasn’t because I hesitated.  I really had no plan on betting the match.  I just made a quick look at the odds and at the the stats, etc. and thought it was a value bet.  Of course if I don’t bet on it it wins.
I have countless time when I missed this type of wins. Gone against my feeling but found out that I was right in the first place.

Full disclaimer: I am not gambling from last few weeks. It just doesn't give me fun at all LOL

Yup me too...  Lately.  Lmao.  But I love the process of looking for bets, looking through the betting market, the stats and watch the matches to see if you made the right read.

It's so hard to pick a side between Man Utd and Leicester City, Ole has decided to bench a lot of his regular starting eleven and Leicester needs a win here  Embarrassed Other than the last fixture against Newcastle, Leicester haven't been doing terribly. I had Man Utd to win 2 - 1, but looks like I might have a change of mind here  Huh

EDIT: I've switched ship, I'm with the foxes.
I have 2:2 in the pool since I expected United to bench some first team players but I did not expect whole 2nd squad. Leicester should win this one if they even hope to finish in front of Chelsea.

I had both to score on my ticket so that one is already in the beg. Nothing better than getting your bet settled in first half Smiley

Went with a home win but probably would've backed a draw if I'd have seen the B-team United put out. Not sure why Ollie decided to do that as a win would have at least kept them in the title race. I could've understood if the Europa final was this week but it's not until the end of the season so they should keep playing for the wins until that's out of reach. City have been playing inconsistent and have the CL final to concentrate on so a couple more slip ups wouldn't have surprised me.

I guess that'd be because they'll play Liverpool again on Friday, and perhaps, he'd rather prove a point against Liverpool than win at home against Leicester, even if that doesn't make much sense I wouldn't understand any other reason.

Liverpool could still make the top, provided they can win their matches, Leicester have got the toughest fixtures (Chelsea, Tottehnam) and I don't see them winning both.

It's still possible but it'll be depending on Chelsea, Leicester or West Ham losing a lot of games. Europa is their best bet now but even that will be put of reach if West Ham win all their remaining games. West Ham have quite an easy run now though as well so even that will be difficult.

Yeah, Indeed it was worth it! I was dead right on the verge of changing second pick to Crystal Palace, I'm also glad I didn't (even though that only fetched me a point) every single point matters at this stage, I must say...

And looks like I might finally grab the yellow after 35 long weeks, huh.. I don't wanna jinx it though 😊

a lot depends on their next game against Man Utd and they will probably play in the first team, not like today.  Grin
I have no high hope for Liverpool. Well say they will win on Tuesday and then win last three matches too. That adds 12 points. Let's keep West Ham out of the equation (not realistic though). Arsenal and Leicester can challenge Chelsea which means they may lose a few points. Say they will be able to manage 6 more points out of 9 that takes them 70 points. Hard run for Leicester because they are going to face Chelsea and Tottenham next. But say they manage another 3 points which means Leicester will have 69 points.

There is a very thin chance for Liverpool but they will have to ensure that they will not lose any match. The current Liverpool team may even ruin everything on Tuesday against Utd.

to me as a fan of their opponent it will be a big disappointment if they stay away from CL next season. in that case, it would be much easier for them without Wednesday games. They will not have tough matches in CL will be much more relaxed and dangerous in PL.
For example, West Ham if they qualify to CL next season, can’t keep up with the pace games every wednesday-weekend.

Worst case scenario for Liverpool.
Leicester whose manager scouser Brendan Rodgers, moving away CL from them, defeating their fiercest rival. I believe they secretly cheered for Man. United.

Okay, Pep, you win.

I didn't expect an entire 2nd squad either, holy damn. I know the title was a fantasy but I'd thought Ole would at least want the dream to last a little longer.

But okay, fine. Makes my 25/10 Liverpool bet all the more worthwhile (was 2/1 until their lineup showed their stars would be rested and the team playing Leicester became apparent, then jumped), cause we'll still win on Thursday =p
