When I talk less about the rounds I do average but if I show excitements then I get worse rounds. However it's hard to not share.

So for so good in this round. 4 out of 4 correct picks with an exact prediction. Hopefully today end of the day I do not finish with a frustration. Not very easy picks in fact in the upcoming few rounds, most of us will struggle because teams are very close in strength. Maybe those draw pickers will start scoring more points.

Good luck to all.

Nothing is slipping very long way to go many ups and downs still to come because its this season is very unpredictable any one can go up very quickly without any hard work and any one can fall down very badly because of unusual results which are happening in this season.

Was tough keeping weeks at the top, and now I'm more than 2 weeks of yellow cap points away from the Top 10 -- that's also assuming everyone in between cocks it up and does as badly as I need them to! In other words, it's no longer entirely in my hands, no more master of my destiny as they'd say in football;)

Of course, not giving up. Every yellow cap is still freebets that makes every week worth it. Right tokes?Wink

@hilarious: yeah. I "wisely" went for no draws, but still failed to pick the right winner (the favourites all won, but I did think Palace at Saints might pull of slight home upsets, I was wrong).

Even 3-0 City wasn't good enough to get 1.5 points thanks to Sterling (although his 2nd half goal did win me my 85/10 Sportsbet special on a goal in each half of EPL games).

It's all slipping away for me. 18 more rounds to go though!

I generally think the luck factor is what gets you up the ranking!!But we can do more to get correct expectations so that we can reach the first places. Grin

Well many of the games were close and two matches were only won by one goal so draws were not far off. Didn't expect Arsenal to win to be honest and as expected Man City won comfortably and was the only team I backed to win but went for a 3-0.

Thank god i hit that leeds match correct result, man city probobly all users got 1 point and some 1.5

I went with 1-1 and it was looking a bit dicey towards the end there for Leeds as Newcastle looked like they might equalise.

Anyone else not liking the look of these line ups this round? Most of them are very hard to split for me and many look like potential draws. Newcastle/Leeds, Palace/West Ham, Southampton/Arsenal, Burnley/Villa, Brighton/Fulham, Everton/Leicester, Spurs/Liverpool. There's lot of games where the slightly stronger team is playing away and I'd probably back them if they were at home but not away. I really can't pick a winner out of any of those games. Everton might be in with a chance as I don't think Vardy is playing. Liverpool looked decent against Man U even though they lost, but Spurs aren't doing to bad recently and Liverpool are still likely shaky. Leeds and Newcastle are both playing shit. Might have backed a narrow Leeds win if they were playing at home but not away. West Ham are on a three win run but don't trust them to beat Palace away. Draws are looking the best best but we'll likely only get a couple. Nightmare round for me.

I missed out good rounds where there were draws (and bookie odds should have clued me in on those) so yeah, this one does look like it could throw up a few stalemates, even Liverpool is probably the smart one to pick for a draw.

All the teams that won yesterday were all the away ones. Wouldn't have backed them for sure.

Arsenal and west ham killed me. Like i said its a really really hard round, those who won all or have already a big number of points are really lucky and congrats to them on their earned points. So far i got 4 points in this round i think i can be satisfied, but still looking for that way into top 10
Last round i jumped by 11 positions and was 28th by the end of last round
But a diffrence is only 10-15 points not much for realz

The difference in points from position 15 and up is really low,I see a lot of users divided by 1.5 points between them.

For me this round was 3.5 points so far with one close and two results only.I didn’t expect Arsenal to win yesterday but I am glad they did.Because the difference in points is so low finding a lot of results can give you more slam points than others which in the end maybe can make a difference.

Very poor start for me I have 4 points from 4 games

Meh I have 2 points for 4 games . I keep trying to go for some weird score every round to maximize my points otherwise I wouldnt be able to get into top ten in time but it seems this backfires to me and now Im slipping even further from top ten lol. I still have alot of these weird score for the remaining matches and if nothing hits then I might get the wooden spoon this roun

Such a hard round to predict, whoever predicts this round the best will have a big impact on the main leaderboard.

Basically every round. Anyone from 11th to 30th would probably make it to top ten or atleast close if he wins the round.

So TwitchySeal is on top for now with 7.5 points and if he wins this round, The one-unique-winner-each-round continues  Tongue

Really crazy the number of goals scored in the first 3 matches alone...

Seem the favorites all won today so those exact scores would really matter  Angry

You know that old saying guys: "It is much tougher to stay on top than to get on top", same goes for defending of the title.

We have a really strange season on our hands, I don't remember when it was so crowded at the top of Premier League. Few good results in a row and all top teams find themselves gunning for the title. Now when Chelsea changed the coach and if it turns out to be positive shock they could also start rapid rise towards the top and make the race even more interesting. They have the team for that sure if they just manage to click together.

Not always true for all the leagues,,, for example in Italy and France and even in Netherlands you see that the guys actually get stronger with every time they win. It gets easier every season you stay on top, until the time comes to rebuild your old squad. Liverpool still need to win one or two more in a row then they get to that stage,,, but it is not over for them yet. Other teams know they are in a "speed bump".

Yes, this is the case with crazy football. Sometimes you see your favorite club give up on good performances. And he's back in such a crazy way that he can destroy all clubs and advance in the ranking!!!I also think that Liverpool can still achieve positive results knowing that United can put on good performances and win many victories!!! Wink. This is why this season's hero is unpredictable

Another week & another mediocre week of predictions by me probably Cheesy
I even tried to jinx it by picking Man Utd to beat LFC but it didn’t work & ended up 0-0 haha. I couldn’t buy a good round at the moment. Will try as usual though, good luck to everybody.

But I'm sensing if there are wins, the home side for sure: Palace, Saints, and Brighton at least should be good value (3/1).

I'm going to end up picking tight wins for most, and a couple of big ones. Only way to get back on track is to gamble for yellow cap =D

Life, Love and Laughter...
Lol..  Yup I just got a DM from Steve at Superbru.  And thanks.  I hope I can get lucky for a couple more weeks and get in the money spots.  I think it’s still pretty doable now.  Glad I didn’t quit...  Was about to a couple of weeks ago.

Didn’t you win it last season toke?
You’re doing a Liverpool FC this season. You’re defending your title like shit Grin
I won it the season before you & did crap last season. It’s just so tough, too many people who know their football here Cheesy

Congrats on the yellow cap though.

Yup.  Lolol.  Grin  I blame covid..  weird results.  And this season is a lot tougher.  More players and players who actually know their football judging from their results.  The guy who wins it this year, I’m pretty sure is one clever bastard.  Grin

Chelsea has a squad to win the CL. IMHO.  I think I made a small bet for them to win the CL at 33 or something crazy before it started.  I’ll check...

Edit:  Ah my mistake.  It was for 2019/20 season.  And FJ hasn’t processed the ticket yet.  Lol.

Yeah, pretty sure he was first place overall last season. It's silly giving up as you can obviously win the 50 free bet every week regardless of where you are in the league but it's also not that difficult to move up the table quite substantially with a good round or two. I've been bouncing up and down with each round to be honest.

agree, why would someone give up when there is an independent $50 price each week for the yellow cap, and up to now it is taken by different people, so everybody have their chance to get their hands on it
I am near the bottom from the start, seems that correct scores are not my picks in Premier league this season, and number of draws is really low, that is also not in line with my picks, but would not give up, maybe some weekly prize will go in my direction in the end Smiley

waiting for match between Everton and Leicester, this could be a good step up on the table, since city rival is out of the form lately
