Abysmal results from Leeds yet again, I didn't watch the game live, but the statistics I'm wondering how they had over 65 percent of the ball possession and still lost by 4 goals.

I didn't watch the whole game either, i honestly couldn't...had to turn off the stream after Bamford's 1st goal was disallowed for offside.
VAR is hitting new lows this year, it's just fucking distasteful, turning this game into a souless mess.

This was ruled OFFSIDE, his feet and body are onside but elbow is offside...are you kidding me?

Freaking double standards! From all I've know it's only an offside of any part of that can score a legitimate goal is involved, does a goal stands if a player scores with his elbow ??! The shit gets rather ridiculous by the day when there is no clearcut rule as a guideline or are the rules just too complicated for only certain cases ? I've fully supported that offside should be called when measurable, even if it's by a whisker, but then this is totally wrong!

that's really ridiculous - and i not only recognize the elbow in the offside but the whole thing already starts with his fingernails, which he unfortunately has not cared for since days and weeks Grin Grin

but all the weird var-decisions are also in the other major leagues
for example yesterday at the game mainz - schalke the referee made several wrong decisions

Looks like we got a spammer bot or something up there^

Anyway, yeah Trofo, United are really the Jekyll Hyde team of the season, but maybe now with Cavani they get a bit of steel, similar to when they got Fernandes. Hope they continue to trip up Citeh etc. Richarlison doesn't himself score, but yeah seems like Everton really really miss him in their formation, also Digne. Was a very expensive draw against Liverpool as it turns out.

@cygan: I thought I was on my way home when Sheffield actually scored first (I picked 1-1) but Chelsea if they continue the second half like this, are going to score way more goals.

Southampton top of the league -- yes, it's only one game extra for others below them to change that but still... who'd have thought?

in fact, there are still a few goals for chelsea... the result after 90 minutes was 4-1 for chelsea vs. sheffield

I saw you mentioned Everton is missing Digne in some other thread and i let it slide but now it is too much and i can't keep my mouth shut anymore Smiley

Digne played full 90min today. His ban was reduced for one game later on. I mentioned it also in my analysis of the game:
+Everton vs Manchester united: two team have problem with their recent form manchester the worst with two loses in most recent game, I dont see a winner here so I predict a draw.
I am leaning towards draw here as well but this game could go in either direction. I just hope there will be goals since I am watching this one and I have quite big bet on both to score. Everton has been great until injuries and bans hit them but it seems that Rodriguez should be fit and Digne got reduced ban so he is playing as well. Only missing player is Richarlison. Everton has not kept a clean sheet for a long time so even shaken United should be good for goal or two and DCL is scoring one for sure.

This game don't use to favour me. The way the fees 0.0045 is low this season show that many gambler will really show interest in this game.
Liverpool  vs Atalanta 1-1 this game is still going well I believe Liverpool  will still add 2 more goal to end the game. Am not too comfortable with the way this game is going with my Liverpool right now. There is still hope for me if they can end the match 1-3 for the favour of Liverpool.

Are you living back in time or you're from the future ?? I'm curious  Shocked

Did NOT expect 3 goals from United though, another great 3 points for a few of you, but toma extends his lead at the top!
I can't believe anybody expected united to score 3 goals today but congrats to all of you who got correct points. I expected much more from Everton but it seems they are running out of steam or maybe they miss Richarlison that badly. I was never a big favorite of Richarlison but he had a firm first team spot under all managers in Everton so I guess he is very important for them. DCL looks much better with him on the pitch as well.

I am terrible at getting correct scores but I am at least getting nice money from the bookies lately. Had both to score on Everton - United match which passed 25th minute and both to score on Pallace - Leeds which also passed inside first half.

@Indy @Harko yeah even without Ings, they have been playing such strong physical football, usual aerial dominance, and I actually like Theo Walcott still. Newcastle are my usual foils for bigger teams, but feels good to have a solid 2-0 prediction come through. Least I'm starting the week all right.

i was also able to get my first 3 points in this matchday due to the 3-1 victory of manchaster united
i hope that more "3-point-games" will follow to get closer to toma Wink

I have started the week off impressively, one exact score and one close prediction.

Eh, what a super dull game it was. Lallana was lobbing more than crossing, Welbeck was getting the ball stuck beneath him all the time, that was Championship football bottom half table, all due respect. Nice catch for the four guys who did 0-0. Should have known better.

Now Saints. No surprises please.

Southampton dominated the game for the most part and it was a duly deserved win.

I just read Ings is out of game with injury so feeling now this match is also going to be bore draw because Saints cannot win and Newcastle is also in not good shape so both will try to have 1 point each.

Edit: Very attacking start by Saints just 10 minutes and leading by 1 - 0 by Adams.

Just a reminder that Premier League resumes tomorrow with two games so make those picks.

I'm currently sitting in #8; let's see if my luck continues  Wink

Gone for both draws on these two early games. Really looking forward to Everton Vs Man United and City/Liverpool this week. Will watch the Leeds game as well. 4 people still need to do their picks but I know a couple people like to leave theirs late but a couple of users have also missed them the last round. Most will still have a lot of their default picks left though.

Fatigue prolly starting to set in at Leeds.  They've been going at it since the start, giving their opponents a hard time.  But I think the Wolves showed a sort of strategy to beat them.  Fall back and score a goal on the break which Crystal Palace could do with Zaha and Batshuayi.

I still pick Leeds to win but this coming match could be a test if they're running out of steam.

I'm not sure I buy into the fatigue reasoning but we'll see. Leicester are a great team right now, arguably one of the best and they could go top this weekend. Villa are playing fairly well but also lost to Wolves last week like Leeds did so I think I'll go for a draw on this one, especially as it's at Villa.

Up 25 places last week and down ten this week.

Crazy win from Leicester, I indeed expected them to win but not in such fashion and I also back them with some bucks @ 2.90 ML

Looking at the bottom 15 users in the pool for this week, you'll be surprised with most of the names on it  Shocked Shocked

Leicester deserved the win as they were a far better team but the scoreline was misleading to me as Leeds came out strong the first half. Didn't deserve the last penalty goal either I thought. It was pissing it down with rain as well which made the play a bit hectic and unpredictable, though it seemed to effect Leeds more than the away team or Leicester certainly dealt with it better.

Well done to jeremypwr for that awesome selection. If I am not mistaken last season we had people with over 20 points, so for sure we can see that again this season,,, I am not giving up hope;)

I lost a few more places in the last round so I will tinker again with my selections and see if I can predict a couple of unexpected results. Spurs, do not let me down:p

How is the winner determined in case that there are multiple player with same points?

You mean for the yellow cap? It's explained somewhere on their website I think. I think they give more weight to correct scores or something but there's multiple factors involved.
