Mixed round for me. I was the only one who got the full points for Liverpool-Leicester but that's not as valuable as getting 3 right scores (for the bonus slam points). Dropping down 7 places isn't so terrible though, might switch strategy to aim for a weekly cap am even considering switch my la liga picks to EPL to see if magic happens;)

I had an acceptable week with 11 points, congratulations to Ulwen though who smashed it out of the park to win the yellow hat with 15 points.

Who has the highest weekly round score so far (for one round - the best yellow hat?)
Congrats to Ulwen! And your result is solid as well!
As for me, it was the best round so far with 12.5 points and two times when I picked the score correctly. Like others, I have good and bad rounds, but I think it's slowly getting better overall over time. Interestingly enough, this time I spent the least time to make the predictions. It might be that it's indeed better not to overthink it, but it could also be a coincidence, of course. I guess I'll try different approaches again to see what works better for me. I hope the next round will be a pleasant one.  Grin

As you can see the prizes now look a lot better than they were when we started the season. They’ll be at least double that again by May.

Good luck everybody.

What makes you think that by May? Could just as easily plummet. We've seen both happen during the pools. Think one year the price went up significantly and another it was during the massive crash.

Dude, you’ve been around long enough to know how it works. We have 4 year bear to bull cycles which peak to the bull side 12-18 months post block reward halving.

Look into Stock-To-Flow & some of PlanB’s works (Twitter). We should reach over $100,000 per coin by the end of 2021.

We’re at the very beginning of a bull market, institutional money is flowing in, fiat currencies are like a massive iceberg that are melting. Covid has destroyed economies, debt is at an ATH. People need to put their money somewhere else, the smart money is in bitcoin & precious metals. We are nowhere near average joe’s FOMO’ing in yet.

Watch this space.

It really is a great week for me I managed to get my first yellow hat,And now I'm planning to get a second hat Angry
In fact, this season is difficult to predict the outcome of the EPL matches. I wish the participants good results in the remaining courses
The best round is a 7 for jermypwr with 16.5 points.

You have the target on your back now for everybody to chase haha Wink
16.5 points nice, I’m sure last year somebody got 21 points in one week or something. CL on tonight but we return to do battle this weekend  Tongue

The prizes above don't have anything to do with Sportsbet as I will be issuing them, but the prizes are fixed in bitcoin so first place at 0.1BTC is probably a decent chunk of change for the winner. Hard to do this season given we've got about 50 users but will be interesting towards the end of the season when the race becomes tighter, and hopefully bitcoin will be worth more than it is today which will make it even more so.

Don't forget there's a game on Friday as people seem to miss them ones.

Thanks for the reminder. I put in my picks early. Feeling quite frustrated that I dropped out of the race for top 10,,, I know it is only 9 games in so we are exactly 25% of the way but I always feel I perform better at the beginning:)

Looking forward to one week winning the cap, at least get back the entry fee!

Life, Love and Laughter...
Leeds played really well against Arsenal and the 0-0 scoreline really wasn't indicative of the game. Leeds hit the post 4 or 5 times and Arsenal did once but they barely did anything in that match. Shame they couldn't have got the 3 points as they don't deserve to be sitting all the way down in 14th place. Really didn't expect Liverpool to turn over Leicester like they did, but I did back the home win.

And next up for Leeds is Everton away.  Everton looked really bad at the back and made Fulham look like world beaters...  It should be a fun match.

I'm thinking BTTS and the over 2.5 combo at 1.87 is decent.

I highly doubt they will all the sudden change it out of the blue even if it does reach $50k (according to your prediction on the bitcoin coin to be) by May. So that being the end of the season and this competition.
This would not bode to well for those who play on both bitcasino.io/sportsbet.io and I highly agree they would not jeopardize their kinsmanship due to a little thing such as price.
They have much more than just this small prize giveaway rolling in day in and day out on both sites to just toss this trust down the tubes.

^ Actually, now that you've mentioned the dollar value in Bitcoin prizes, all those freebets I've been getting from Sportsbet really add up. Also, they actually did say the weekly yellow cap prize in fiat amount but have always given it out in Bitcoin. It pays to pay in crypto (and get paid in crypto;) ).

So gentlemen. Saints and Palace away parlay at 8/1?

How’s it going boys?
I was just bored & thought I’d do this for you.
When the pool started pay in was 0.0045BTC which at the time was approx £40.
See the bolded below I added to hilarious’ post to show the current fiat value of the prizes. Bitcoin price has risen dramatically & I expect it to continue to rise, by the end of the season I think we’ll see around $50,000 per bitcoin.
But if the prizes were paid out right now they’d be the following (in bold).
As long as the BTC price doesn't go crazy then it will probably 0.0045 as that's a little over £40 right now.
1st 0.1 - £1.385
2nd 0.05 - £692
3rd 0.04 - £554
4th 0.03 - £415
5th 0.02 - £277
6th 0.01 - £138
7th 0.01 - £138
8th 0.01 - £138
9th 0.01 - £138
10th 0.01 - £138
As you can see the prizes now look a lot better than they were when we started the season. They’ll be at least double that again by May.

This is an interesting observation LFC! Smiley
It does favor those who paid their fee when BTC was $8.5k or so from what I remember it being around $48usd for an entry fee.

But as we know, sportsbet.io does not change their prize amounts once they state them. So nodoby needs to worry about getting less since it's paid in BTC amount and not in dirty fiat prices. Wink

I highly doubt they will all the sudden change it out of the blue even if it does reach $50k (according to your prediction on the bitcoin coin to be) by May. So that being the end of the season and this competition.

No VVD, Gomez, Thiago, Trent, Salah, Henderson

NO PROBLEM

You guys can put in 2 teenagers against a top 4 contender and still win the game with a clean sheet and no yellow cards, I have to hand it to you. I did put in an exact prediction actually;) But this was before I knew Salah wasn't going to play. Jota is so much value now for 40 million if you think about it. I read a few reports now that he is using Liverpool as a stepping stone, but I guess Klopp knows what he's doing.

Time to change your front 3 to Mane Jota Salah?

I’ve gone for Liverpool to win, would you expect anything else?  Grin

I’m not buying into this Leicester hype, they’ve had 8 penalties this season, I think we’ll beat them. We have lots of injuries but the expected team will be something like this -

Alisson, Milner, Matip, Fabinho, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Keita, Shaqiri, Jota, Firmino, Mane

Salah misses the game due to covid, Thiago & Henderson will be back in a week or so. Trent AA will be back in 2 weeks. We will miss VVD & Gomez no doubt but the above team is more than good enough to beat pretty much everything in the PL.

3-0

No VVD, Gomez, Thiago, Trent, Salah, Henderson

NO PROBLEM
Current Liverpool team is complete package for win again as they done today now they can beat any team on any place I am really happy with way today they play and won without too many star players very few teams able to do performe like this.

7 points so far from 7 games concluded this week doesn't seem extremly terrible, looking at the City, Arsenal and most importantly the Aston Villa upset, the kind of week I would have expected @buwaytress to thrive in, but its Hhampuz that's stealing the show  Cheesy

I've got the Reds for a 3 - 1 win, but now I'm doubt if we would get 4 goals in this game.

Yeah, I've been overthinking games a lot but to be fair 21 shots and 11 on goal, we should have been 5 goals up at least. Bobby screwed up my perfect score (when I finally don't predict 3-0 haha) but I'm happy he scored, and by the celebrations, everyone was so happy he scored. He hit the post twice, had a goal cleared off the line, ball stuck under him a couple of times, phew, when you can't score, you just can't score but this should put him back on track!

Booked me on a nice parlay this one, and set me off on a new set of 3 consecutive wins with -1 handicap, so yay for me =D 2 games to go but I think Hampuz has got this yellow cap in one hand with 3 point lead;)

P.S. 27 guys predicted a Liverpool win, don't think I've seen "so few" when at home not against City =p
