After seeing the score from Tottenham and now Palace, I do not think we are having any problem with over 1.5 goals.
Yup, haha. I have this habit of jinxing myself, but I suppose all gamblers get that "feeling"
Hope the goals all come flowing for Liverpool soon too;)
Epic game, full time now at Brighton 3-3 Wolves. I don’t think anybody predicted that one
Just about to tune into West Brom vs Arsenal, part of me wants to see WBA get hammered for having the audacity to steal a point from Anfield
Yeah, shame on me for picking 3-2, I honestly thought Wolves were going to win too. And you got what you wanted, a 4-0 hammering which worked out for me anyway since I picked Arsenal for a parlay. The audacity of Albion! =p
Pundits are fine to dish it but can't take criticism. Besides, it's their plebby fans being plebby tweeting abuse that was the problem.
On the subject of Leeds, did anyone see the Spurs penalty they got? The contact/foul was quite clearly outside the box but the body was probably in, but VAR gave it as a penalty. Not sure of the rules on that but they didn't take long to examine it.
Yeah, I'm sure other pundits have taken a heck lot more of abuse on and off Twitter, though I'm pretty sure she got quite a bit of threat DMS. Mostly plebs as you say, but I've seen how people can take down people they target -- shame as she did have a point a lot of people online pointed out earlier even!
Didn't see the Spurs VAR but we had a similar foul outside the box against Sheffield United, and that's when I learnt the new rule (as did everyone else haha) -- as long as part of your body is above the penalty box line (touching or above it), it's considered a foul. Same tech used as goal line, which explains why they didn't take long I guess.
