I managed to dig myself out of a hole a bit, I was in the relegation zone a few weeks ago - I think 3rd from the bottom.

Just goes to show, everything to fight for until it becomes mathematically unassailable. You don't want to miss out when/if one of the top dogs has a bad week. Just 10 points more changes everything.

Twitter is one of the worst places on the internet.

Crypto Twitter the same too. If not for my work, I would never even be on it. Have a hard time reading the crap spewing from there most days.

I've gone for the draw. Liverpool should win but I don't trust them right now and Southampton have been playing surprisingly strong losing to only the two Manchester teams and those were close.

Yeah, I've gone for an outlandish score but bets are firmly on them if only because Mane and Salah ought to be itching to score, and they seem to somehow play better when the opposing team actually tries, as Saints surely will.

We (LFC) are going to win this one.
In last two matches we played poor. Match against West Brom was ruined after West Brom got that sudden goal and in the last match against Newcastle we were very bad. No goal from the forwards however wasted a lot of chances, I guess over 6 sure chances. I hope today we do not miss many chances. After two draw, we need a win and get back to the track. Utd fans will want us losing point though. Some of them are dreaming for the title 🤣

Line up hasn't confirmed yet.

Thiago's playing time so far:
20/9/2020 against Chelsea 45'
17/10/2020 against Everton 90'
30/13/2020 in the last match against Castle 18'

His career with us is all about injury LOL

(since Richarlison tried to end his career with a cowards tackle in October).

We (LFC) are going to win this one.

Don't remember the exact tackle but considering it is Richarlison we are talking about I am quite sure that was just one of his stupid tackles. Almost every game after he looses the ball he takes sprinting to get it back which often ends with sliding tackle from behind. Usually it just ends with him getting yellow card but you can see from his face that he is not thinking at that moment. He decides to end the run with sliding tackle no matter what opposition player does Smiley

Early team news is that Henderson will start CB (due to all the injuries) & Thiago starts for the first time in months (since Richarlison tried to end his career with a cowards tackle in October).

We (LFC) are going to win this one.

This is very possible. I am doubting between a draw or Liverpool win. Check Liverpool's stats from away games, only two wins + 5 drawn and 1 lost until now.

yeah, draw seems as a good fit, Southampton did not scored on last three matches, and did not win last four, and Liverpool has two draws in a row, bearing in mind that Liverpool has more issues with injured players
nevertheless, I will put Liverpool win in the pool, and maybe put otherwise in my betting ticket, more or less, under goals are my first pick for betting, not winner in the end

it is much more interesting season than last season, but Liverpool was in a position to still slowly get their position on the top, with now Manchester United as main competitor, are we going back to Fergusson era Smiley

I was able to get the exact scores for both matches that were played today, that's boosted my rank to 4th and 6th position in the round and overall leaderboard respectively.
After some long time we have very good round because too many members with very good number of points but sadly now again we are going for vacation and now we have to wait for next round of EPL for more action hopefully now we are going to have some good and interesting matches as top ranked teams doing much better for title race.

There are not many surprising games, almost all favourites win. Maybe except Everton.

It's interesting Chelsea vs. Manchester City game, it is evident that a break suited M.City caused by postponed match. They played much easier, maybe this was their best game of the season. rhythm games on every 2-3 days are really too much.

Pundits are fine to dish it but can't take criticism. Besides, it's their plebby fans being plebby tweeting abuse that was the problem.

On the subject of Leeds, did anyone see the Spurs penalty they got? The contact/foul was quite clearly outside the box but the body was probably in, but VAR gave it as a penalty. Not sure of the rules on that but they didn't take long to examine it.

Yeah, I'm sure other pundits have taken a heck lot more of abuse on and off Twitter, though I'm pretty sure she got quite a bit of threat DMS. Mostly plebs as you say, but I've seen how people can take down people they target -- shame as she did have a point a lot of people online pointed out earlier even!

Twitter is one of the worst places on the internet. A Load of trolls and snowflakes battling it out to see who is more stupid. They're all just screaming into the void either way. If people can't handle criticism they shouldn't be using it to blast out opinions, or at least they shouldn't be reading the comments or replies. You're absolutely not made out to be a pundit if you can't take this sort of stuff as it is going to happen every week. People need to learn to ignore it.

Very impressive first half by Man City, to be 3-0 up at Stamford Bridge is not easy. Maybe this is the game that really kick starts their season because up until this game they’ve been really inconsistent.

For the record my prediction was Chelsea 2-1 City  Roll Eyes

I went for a draw. Chelsea should have done better but got walked all over. City practically had their B team out as well. Hadn't even heard of  quarter of their players. How long is it until Lampard is sacked? Werner accidentally kicking the corner flag and then going down like he's injured was pathetic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOJT8u8S3Io

That being said this week is bad for me and I need one correct score today to make it better but have no clue what to play on Liverpool game. I have a feeling this will be low scoring affair and maybe even a draw.

Yellow cap is still unreachable though - with almost 50 of us playing I didn't come close even when I was on fire.
I don't think I ever managed to get yellow cap and this is my third season here. Now it is tougher than ever since as you said there is 50 of us playing. I am more of slow and steady progress type of player I guess. Never close to yellow cap but usually doing quite ok with points.

2-3 top 10 performances and I'm sitting comfortably in the middle already, so don't give up if you are in a shitty position. All can change really fast.

I had it 1-2 for Manchester City and I was about to change it to a draw but I didn't.Strange enough for me I have been very consistent these last 3-4 weeks and I am now just 0.5 points behind you while I was far away in the bottom and you were way up.I hope I can keep these results coming and climb up the ladder slowly.
Initially I had 0 - 2 for City but then I changed mind and gone with 1 - 3. Chelsea needs a goal to make it happen for me and with 3 more points I can have some good time in the pool. However I have a bet of over 4/4.5 in this match and the stake is 0.01 BTC. Considering the BTC price it's a lot. I thought they will score more goals after scoring 3 goals in the first 45 minutes but it seems my luck is drying up slowly. 70th minute and still 3 goals 😏

One more goal will give me half of my stake back and no goal means I lost the whole amount.

So, looks like EPL is back to the favorites winning? And even the Brighton draw wasn't a big surprise, the only thing shocking is them scoring three goals (but that match had own goals and penalties too). So those of us thinking of upsets and draws, we got crap points:)

I have different reason why I want to see them get hammered. They sacked Bilic after he took a point from City and I felt like he was doing the best he could with the squad he had. Now they appointed Big Sam and they are conceding goals at home like crazy. Granted he took the points of your reds but everybody else hammered them. They conceded 5 against Leeds and 4 so far from Arsenal, still 25 minutes left for a couple more.

What is even better I have been watching the game and playing next goal Arsenal all the time. 4 winning tickets and counting, odds were 1.65-1.9.

Yeah which is why I actually don't feel bad if my team (Barca) goes down badly after the way the club treated our loyal servants.

After seeing the score from Tottenham and now Palace, I do not think we are having any problem with over 1.5 goals.

Yup, haha. I have this habit of jinxing myself, but I suppose all gamblers get that "feeling"Wink Hope the goals all come flowing for Liverpool soon too;)

Epic game, full time now at Brighton 3-3 Wolves. I don’t think anybody predicted that one Cheesy
Just about to tune into West Brom vs Arsenal, part of me wants to see WBA get hammered for having the audacity to steal a point from Anfield Grin

Yeah, shame on me for picking 3-2, I honestly thought Wolves were going to win too. And you got what you wanted, a 4-0 hammering which worked out for me anyway since I picked Arsenal for a parlay. The audacity of Albion! =p

Didn't see the Spurs VAR but we had a similar foul outside the box against Sheffield United, and that's when I learnt the new rule (as did everyone else haha) -- as long as part of your body is above the penalty box line (touching or above it), it's considered a foul. Same tech used as goal line, which explains why they didn't take long I guess.

With 3 games to go (Burnley - Fulham game is postponed), the battle for the yellow cap is really getting intense. We have 14 people in 2 points difference, I somehow feel that we all have the same outcomes in the WBA - Arsenal and Newcastle - Leicester games. The last one is Chelsea - City, I'm really curious to see where we stand before that one.

If I'm still close to the top with a lot of people around me, I might change my prediction and go for a less expected outcome.

I've got 4.5 points and I'm only 3 points short from the leader, It's been a really close week.

I've got 1.5 points from Tottenham and Palace, but I had Wolves to win 1 - 0, that's probably the game of the week, both teams had 4 shots on goal apiece and each converted 3 of them.

Arsenal are already 2 goals up, and that's what I've gone for but it's only the 33rd minute so there's still time for more goals against this horrible West Brom team Cheesy
