Epic game, full time now at Brighton 3-3 Wolves. I don’t think anybody predicted that one Cheesy
Just about to tune into West Brom vs Arsenal, part of me wants to see WBA get hammered for having the audacity to steal a point from Anfield Grin

Well I got the result right with a draw. Just a shame I picked 0-0. I've gone for another risky draw on the West Brom game. Arsenal should win but I don't trust them yet. West Brom got slaughtered by Leeds last game but I don't think the same will happen and I'm hoping Arsenal go back to their shit form like they were a few rounds a go. Need a draw from this game for my 4-fold acca as well for £80. Not hopeful though.

Anyway, I'll keep playing for a couple more weeks and see how I do.  I'll just prolly quit eventually.  Good luck and congrats to this season's bastards.

Lol. Didn't you win last season? Why quit when there's a $50 bet every week. Users can quickly jump up the board as we have seen several times.

P.S. Anyone saw the Leeds Twitterstorm this week? Not going to weigh in on that tricky minefield but I gotta say, pundits get a lot of flak, thought it'd be normal;)

Pundits are fine to dish it but can't take criticism. Besides, it's their plebby fans being plebby tweeting abuse that was the problem.

On the subject of Leeds, did anyone see the Spurs penalty they got? The contact/foul was quite clearly outside the box but the body was probably in, but VAR gave it as a penalty. Not sure of the rules on that but they didn't take long to examine it.

With 3 games to go (Burnley - Fulham game is postponed), the battle for the yellow cap is really getting intense. We have 14 people in 2 points difference, I somehow feel that we all have the same outcomes in the WBA - Arsenal and Newcastle - Leicester games. The last one is Chelsea - City, I'm really curious to see where we stand before that one.

If I'm still close to the top with a lot of people around me, I might change my prediction and go for a less expected outcome.

OK this is now noted and today surely they are going to hammerd because I am also feeling Arsenal need to win this match as they are doing some better in last few matches after beating Chelsea at home.

I’m just watching C Palace & they’re winning 2-0. Sheff U are on the end of yet another beating Cheesy
They must be on track for the lowest points tally in PL history.
Sheffs were better team in the last season. What gone wrong with this in this session?
It's almost sure bet if you go against Sheffs but unfortunately I did not put any money today.

Still has not watch any match today however expecting to tuned the channel for Brighton vs Wolves. I hope Wolves win their match and if this is by 1 - 2 then it will be awesome. I can really use another correct score in this round.

Also, goals now drying up in EPL. City and Liverpool struggling to score in December.
After seeing the score from Tottenham and now Palace, I do not think we are having any problem with over 1.5 goals. In the Utd match I was expecting 2 - 1 win for Utd, we got it. In the Tottenham match I was expecting 2 - 1 win however we got 3 - 0, in the Palace match I expected 1 - 0 and we have 2 - 0 so far. It's going well for me as I am expecting.

Will we have an over 2.5 in the next match? I have 1 - 2 for Wolves.

Impressive win by Spurs today, really puts them in contention for a top 4 place which I think is a realistic aim for them this season.

Really hate that goal drought in PL, costed me heavily. My favorite tip is both to score and I would hate it if I had to remove PL from my tickets and concentrate more on other leagues.

Yeah, def taken me down a few notches, I know you like BTTS recently and I've gone for over 1.5 and that's been a real recipe for disaster with the tight wins.

Spurs on a rampage so glad I avoided betting on Leeds, Spurs actually lead a couple of my parlays so I'm happy with how my weekend's turning out so far, even if prediction wise I'm screwed.

How tiresome. One guy got the West Ham result (surprised to see in the separate Sportsbet MM also everyone picked Everton) but I honestly thought the Villains were worth betting on. Their passing was crisp, and if they just converted one or two of those wicked crosses... ah well.

Also, goals now drying up in EPL. City and Liverpool struggling to score in December. United look decent but memory seems to tell me they got a fair number of penalties too. Leeds to throw another spanner into Mourinho's works?
Villa is playing good football and they could have left with a point yesterday. But penalties and United go hand in hand for some time now so it ended more or less as expected. I was counting on that penalty for Fernadez but I was missing one yellow card for Villa to cash in. I posted a nice betbuilder bet in some other thread yesterday.

I am impressed from Manchester United recent form,it is awesome and I think they have been the most consistent team in these latest games. We have to see how they will fold up in the upcoming games but the Premier League is now more open than never with Liverpool and Manchester City struggling to go away and make big points difference like they used to do in these last couple of years.

Anyone actually think Villa have a chance of an upset today?
I think both underdogs have very good chances of causing upsets today. I have chosen scoring draws in the pool for both matches and I feel like at least one favorite is not winning today. Since I can't decide which game will be an upset I placed a bet on both to score on both of them. That way I am only hoping for the goals and don't really care who wins it in the end. Since it is a first day of new year I also hope that the teams will want to provide us with some entertainment Smiley

You guys all made me think Villa was really going to win but in the end VAR gave Pogba his penalty and Fernandes took it well (I saw the highlights). Not a problem at all I guess,,, but did they really deserve to win you guys think? Villa highlights look more threatening to me. My 1-1 should have stood though I think,,, Pogba threw himself to the ground:P

Because you are very confused and today Manchester United is going to join Liverpool in points after 40 minutes they are leading by 1 - 0 even still some good time is on but look like they are going to have full points.
I know I want Utd to lose points, if possible then no points at all but on the other hand Utd looked stronger than Villa and it really seems they are playing well. In the entire first half their dominance was clear but Villa was not that bad at all.

Anyway, 2 - 1 is not looking bad. Maybe another goal from Utd and then after 80th minute a goal from Villa LOL

I have 3:1 on pool for Mutd and a draw on a ticket ruined by West Ham’s win, so, let’s go for those 3 points  Grin
Eh! Why not keep it at 2 - 1?
Let those 3 points come to me. 🤤

Anyway, I had a free bet and decided to waste it on corner market.

Fingers crossed.

The Premier League never fails to disappoint when it comes to unexpected results, they started the year with a result most of us was not expecting at all with Everton losing at home.Maybe the players have celebrated a bit more than they should have before the game so that is the cause most probably of the loss of Everton in their home field tonight.
Only one was able to collect 1.5 points.

Next match is up in few minutes. As a Liverpool fan I would not mind Utd to lose of even draw. Villa are not bad at all. But Utd with a win will have same points as Liverpool which sucks of course. I gone with a 2 - 1 win for Utd but I will hope I am wrong and will finish the day without any point.

Edit:
I fucking changed my mind. Utd to draw 1 - 1 😛

More edit:
Changed mind and sticking with 2 - 1.
Damn! why it's so hard!!!! 😠

EDIT: Woah! and out of the blue, Barely 3 minutes later, West Ham are indeed ahead 😆
I could have changed my pick from 1 - 0 to 0 - 1 instead of 2 - 1 meh!

yeah, Everton had some issues with the team, but I did not expected to lose
it was not that bad performance after all, but West Ham had their chances too, and although draw would be better fit for what happened on the pitch, 3 points are going to London, and we are missing another chance to get closer to Liverpool, and CL position at the end of the season
hopefully, will be better in a few days

What's worse than having a barren draw to kick off the year, I Initially put a 1 - 0 win for Everton before later changing it to a 2 - 1 win still for Everton, but neither would matter, I guess. I would prefer West Ham still a very late win here to this draw, tbh.
You speak the same as me LOL

The half time is showing a 0-0 on Everton - West Ham, I expected more action tbh  Roll Eyes
I have a draw on my ticket and 2:1 on pool

I expected a lot more. Antonio came on just now for West Ham and I hope he does something soon and then Everton has to get Rodriguez on the pitch and we finally get some creativity. But I am already considering my next ticket since this one will be a bust.

The game here is to not loose and if we win by accident - great Smiley

Eh same here. I took a few bets all having Everton to win, but yeah with 15 mins left not sure if we're heading for yet another EPL draw. Think this season might see a champion with below 90 points for the first time in years. Not necessarily a bad thing for the game overall, I guess.

@slaman29 I'll be happy if Villa pull off a nice win though, my single ticket on that will more than make up for other lost bets. Damned New Year;)
