Come on Toke! How do you manage all those correct score. If I step one forward you move two 🤪
Only 11 more rounds to go and I really need few good rounds but seems like I am doing lower than average from long time now. Shit!

Some really tricky matches are on the way in the next round.  We can start with Chelsea vs Tottenham. Will we see another Chelsea disaster like we have seen against Utd?

So Pep addressed the city situation after the West Ham game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WqKVY-2-8kw

He said he will stay with City until they sack him so that's respectable. He even apparently said that he would stay with City even if they were relegated to the second division. Now that's something I would like to see  Grin. It's going to be interesting seeing what does happen with this situation. There's obviously going to be a long legal battle as City appeal. I don't know the full extent of the shenanigans that they were involved with but I think there should be some serious repercussions for teams that purposely break the rules and try hide it, and it shouldn't be limited to fines either. I think they should start docking points or even relegating teams. That would send a clear message that it's not going to be tolerated and I doubt any club will even try it after that.

@hilarious

The CL games tonight are really dull, I watched the first 5 mins of the Spurs games & turned over. Next weeks games are much better, on paper at least.

Man City 1-0 W Ham at HT right now too.

Yeah, I had no interest in them. Roll on next week.

Now Match is already end with in favour of Man City 2 - 0 just four members in Pool with full points and Spurs trailing by 0 - 1 as match is enter in injury time I am feeling without Kane and Son Spurs is just crap they are going not good in next matches.
Atlanta ruined Valencia by 4 - 1 which is really good as now they have some good advantage.

Don't forget there's a sneaky PL game on tonight. Man city v West Ham. Can't say I'm bothered by this game or the other two Champion's League fixtures today and City should win comfortably, but the City game might be worth watching to see if the West Ham fans are chanting anything about their ban haha. I'm sure there'll be some boos or 'cheat' chanting. The Leicester/City game on the weekend could be a big one. Definitely one I'll be watching.

Yeah, momentum is never taken into consideration either. A similar thing happened for Real Madrid a while back. I can't remember what game it was but a player struggled to stop and clashed into Marcelo and knocked him over and the goal that was scored after was disallowed because of it. It was ridiculous.

I think you are talking about the champions league game between Real Madrid and PSG. Although it wasn't a goal but red card to Courtois and penalty to PSG. But later on VAR ruled out the card and penalty and Real got free-kick due to Gueye foul on Marcelo in build-up near half-way line.

Yeah, that was it. I was flabbergasted by that, especially when I didn't think it was a foul and any rational person can see what happened. I can't wait for the time a player punches someone in the face but VAR finds a foul earlier in the build up and then has no option but to rescind the card  Grin and the player gets away with a free punch. I mean, it's not a foul right if VAR says otherwise  Cheesy? It really annoys me when they pull things back like that. Unless UEFA can invent a time machine play should stop whilst they make the decision. Or just not bother with it if the ref hasn't called it.

I watched the game. The kick incident was 50/50 to me. At first from the angle shown it didn't look like he did much and maybe he just kept his leg up to avoid a clash, but then from the replays he did extend his leg as if to give a light kick. I've seen players sent off for things like that but it was very light. I'm not sure it was a sending off offence but I suppose you could make the argument that it was technically violent conduct. One thing people were complaining about though was the ref didn't even review via VAR.

It's a real shame about the two disallowed goals. VAR strikes again with someone being an inch offside. I thought the disallowed goal for the push was harsh too. He went down real easy.
1st, Maguire case. I saw the post match interview and he was asked about this. According to him it was just the natural reflection. If we remember the red card for Son few weeks ago then we will see there was very similar situation but Son was shown red card for that.

Well of course he's going to say that. He's not going to admit to violent conduct and suggest he should have been sent off Grin. The Son situation is very similar but a bit different. He blatantly kicked out at someone in frustration. Son's was worse and more clear cut in m,y opinion.

2nd, the disallowed first goal. The Chelsea player was in the middle of two Utd defenders (if I am right about it). He was pushed from behind and from natural reflection his hand stopped on the back of the player in front of him. I think referee did not take that in consideration.

Chelsea could have had a life if they lastest goal stood, but VAR was at the rescue for Man Utd

It's game over already, and it was only just four users who picked Man Utd to win.

Unless there are any goal from Chelsea to make it 2 - 1, I think all 4 will settle with 1.5 points each. If Utd manages to score one more goal then webtricks will need to be happy with 1 point only. But I hope we see the current scoreline after final whistle LOL

Edit:
Wait! With a 3 - 0 I think all four will get only 1 point each. Come on Utd! Score another one!!

That was close!! I had this instinct that Chelsea will have lots of chances but won't score any goal especially due to Batshuayi factor, guy can miss a goal from 5 yards literally. No wonder why he's second to Tammy.

But Chelsea really played well yesterday. I only watched first half since it was already 2:15 AM at my place but Chelsea played equally well in second half, especially two strikes from Mason Mount. However, my instinct got it right and Chelsea failed to convert any goal (although that Giroud one should have been given, offside rule shouldn't be that rude).

Chelsea fans are crying over the fact that Maguire kicked Batshuayi in the balls yet he wasn't sent off...Did he deserve a red card?

That was really cheeky from Maguire. It can be clearly seen that he intentionally raised second leg however, it did no harm. Batshuayi tried to make a heck out of it but he just got up and literally starting walking after 20 seconds like nothing happened. I don't think that was cardable offense at all. VAR was right.

Bear in mind that Maguire scored the 2-0

More importantly, he was solid in defense. I think Man Utd could easily give away 2-3 goals if Maguire was sent off.

Inch is still more than zero, such as the rule for all teams. Just remember last season and disallowed Liverpool's goal against MCity (if I remember correctly), few millimetres but at the end, enough for MC to win the title.

Just compares the intensity of pushing Fred to Azpilicueta vs. Azpilicueta to Williams, pushing with both hands give the impression of intention. it seems like a very clear decision by a referee

Yes, Utd got a clean sheet and won the match but there are questions about refereeing in the match.

I'm picked, 2:1 Man. Utd to win, I did not expect clean sheet from there. Since only the four of us took points here I must be satisfied  Grin

It's looking very suspicious. everything happened in a moment, but nevertheless intention is possible though I do not believe Maguire was thinking of hurting at that point, It was similar with Son although he got red card.

they're unbeaten against Chelsea ever since Ole took the wheel (3W 1D).
Ole knows how to deal with the Blues  Lips sealed  4wins and 1draw now.

I went for 1:1 in our pool and put some money on Man Utd not to lose and both to score @3.15.
BTTS was so close. Batshuayi was shocking today, VAR disallowed a couple of goals, and then Mount hit the post. Unlucky  Sad

Ighalo almost scored right in the end  Roll Eyes But I thought he was sidelined because of Coronavirus...hmm.

Prior to the line up, I gave Chelsea the edge due to being the home team, with 2 - 1 win, However, I'm going with 1 - 1 draw (locked)  Wink
1 - 1 looks very possible.
Poor Chelsea, scored the equalizer but it was revoked because of foul.

I went 2-1 to Chelsea, game’s just started. Let’s see what happens hey.
I too gone with 2 - 1 for Chelsea but it seems we will have a hard luck. Still more than 30 minutes to go. So fingers crossed!

Edit:
@LFC
Maguire's first EPL goal in 26 match and Utd are now 2 - 0 ahead.
No luck for us to get any point today.

I do not trust any of them however I will give advantage to Chelsea as a home team.

None of the players I would have loved to see play tonight are available, Ighalo, Rashford and Abraham are all missing either due to injury or some necessary precautions, It's probably going to be a boring game, I guess, as opposed to my initial ancitipation, but there isn't much I would rather do on a Monday night.

Feeling depressed why I locked my picks few days back now after watching first 25 minutes look like this is going to be draw as some good players already missing right now most of play is playing in center Manchester United going with some advantage as they have good ball possesion no team want to give opponent any space.
