Does 7th place give the club a ticket to the Europa League (which is still significantly worse than the Champions League) and not to the Conference League?
With the new Champions league format the English Premier league (and 3 other best competitive leagues) should have 5 qualifying teams for the UCL next season. If that happens, 6th and 7th have a shot.
Newcastle can also finish above 7th if they finish the season strong.

Can't remember who it was who liked to go for draws (other than Steve and Trofo), yesterday must have been a dream for them. Naturally, any accas I had died the worst possible death (drawing just always feel so empty to me).

I'm with Igebotz here, got some shizzle on Villa -- is 20/1 Luton any good? It should be 30/1 really with the devastation that Arsenal have been carrying out.

Draw is the worst market out there!!

Arsenal is going to bury Luton but BTS @2.02 is certain - no team find little space in-between lines more than Luton this season and are very good at set piece too. Beat them 5 but they must always find a way to score one.

I haven't gotten over the final match day City-Villa under Gerrard... when Coutinho put Villa up 2 nil... and still lost 3-2. That's just how impossible it is to beat City.
Too much was at stake on that day for City to lose that match.

Yeah, final day dramas, we (Liverpool) have given Prem League a lot of memories. Still somewhat bummed about that season but there's always too much at stake. We had even, more, arguably, and yet still created Crystalgate (haha).

I don't know what handicap this is based on you said +2 goals, but If that's Man City not to win by 2 goals or more, I really don't think the odds is worth it @ 2.05, I think if Man City are going to win this, it will a kind of statement, or their struggle will just simply continue, I'd have fancy the chances of the latter, if Aston Villa will not be without their biggest goal threat, while Man City defense is kind of getting into a better shape, and that was evident against Arsenal.

My bet for this game would be on an individual team to score certain amount of goals, and my decision is currently tilting towards Aston Villa under 0.5 goals scored.

I'm giving Aston villa two goals ahead to win. The odd has increased to 2.25 looking little bit scary now after the Watkins News I guess.

Aston villa O.5 goal is 1.70 - not bad at all.

After having good last season now in this is surely going to be worst end for them
Newcastle are not in a bad position at all. They sit at 8th with a game in hand on WestHam and are still within a shout for a Europa league spot this season. Two seasons in Europe consecutively will be an amazing achievement for Edie Howe and he would have done it with a crazy injury crisis.

That was a very vital point for Everton.

Does 7th place give the club a ticket to the Europa League (which is still significantly worse than the Champions League) and not to the Conference League? To maintain their chances of the Europa League, Newcastle had to win, but Everton are in a desperate situation and also desperately needed points and were also highly motivated.
I hope today the results will be more expected, if the other favorites lose points, then all multi-bets will be lost.

Yeah, bookies sometimes do this - I don't understand it as well.
Could be that they know Watkins is unable to play - without him Villa is a different team after all.

Still - makes perfect sense to give it a shot - I think I'll try to go for a draw.

Manchester city are already exhausted from the low block game against Arsenal and not going to get around the Aston villa game so easily. Aston villa +2 goals handicap @ 2.05 is a valuable bet. It's going to be a close wining game.

Agreed about this was vital point for the Everton but killer for me as I have down with this goal on both sides in pool and on betting as well my two parlays gone down just because of this goal I have done wrong decision going with ML instead of going for the both teams to score was my first choice but at the end I drop this and have this ML for the Newcastle United which kills me.
Now today having both easy games with most chances few points and some recoveries are coming in the way, hopefully we will have Arsenal not give any shock in this game.

Newcastle absolutely deserved to win today. However the injures that haven't left the team in peace since beginning of the season showed itself today as well. Dummett who has been able to find very few chances for years entered the match and right after that he caused his team to lose 2 points by making a mistake clumsily.
After having good last season now in this is surely going to be worst end for them with this all now things are going to be had the good number of changes in coming season because we have too many rumors about this all.
Chances are not high for them to have spot into top six teams because their performance and injuries both are at the top and remaining season is going to be not easy for them.

After winning one yellocap few weeks back I am also going down badly and now having no chances for going into top 20s because this round in first few games I have no point all gone wrong.

Martinelli has too many bench options, but there are no good options for Saka - Arteta lost the league last season because he overused Saka and got his ass burned near the end of the season; this could happen again!!!
Starting Trossard on the right and Jesus on the left. Fabio Vierra could have also performed well, he is not up to the quality of Saka, but he will be better than a Saka that have not trained with the squad for a couple of days.
I would not go as far as saying that is why we lost the league, but it burned Bukayo out.

Both Arsenal and Manchester City have fallen behind now and judging that only 8 games are left so far including today and tomorrow games I doubt Liverpool will have much of a problem to keep the standings the way they are right now and become Champions of the Premier League. They have quite an easy game again at home against Sheffield United,Arsenal also against Luton while City is facing a stronger Aston Villa,so most likely two sure results during this midweek games will be the win of Liverpool and Arsenal and it won't matter for Saka if he will be play or not,Arsenal can win this game even without him.

In terms of money bets, I like that the top three have a lot of easy games for the end of the championship. Even if you miss the games with Tottenham, Brighton, Aston Villa and United, then in each round there are games where the favorite will not have the right to make a mistake. Unfortunately, bookmakers give meager odds for such games, but they are still great for adding to multi-bets.

This round is insanely difficult to predict. We might see some fluctuations at the top of the table, I wonder how Omikfuse and Joca97 will play this.

I waited until the deadline to submit and am still not sure about at least half of the outcomes. I just hope that Saint-loup and MoSala don't have monster rounds.

It's doesn't make sense to risk and throw him to wounded lions (Mancity) like that. Win or Lose Aston villa are in safe heaven.
Tell that to Arteta. Saka and Martinelli should have been rested on Sunday.
We have 2 premier league games in 4 days against tricky opponents and a visit from European giants Bayern Munich soon after, we need not exacerbate any injuries our players may have.

City alone should score over 1.5 goals against Villa.

Martinelli has too many bench options, but there are no good options for Saka - Arteta lost the league last season because he overused Saka and got his ass burned near the end of the season; this could happen again!!!

Saka has little competition in his position and no rest; unless this issue is addressed, Saka may become another Hazard, accumulated hits/knocks every game and became weak at 30.

The loss of Watkins is a good argument, but 1.26... this is literally the quote of Athletic (4th place) against Granada (19th), but in this case we have third place playing against fourth. I understand that this is a distant analogy, but it makes some sense.
City by all indication should win on Wednesday. Aston Villa are a strong opponent, but with the circumstances around the match they should win easy.

I'm with KTChampions here. This is a poor indication of Villa, and an overestimation of City. Of course, City I think should still win this fairly comfortably.

Manchester city are already exhausted from the low block game against Arsenal and not going to get around the Aston villa game so easily. Aston villa +2 goals handicap @ 2.05 is a valuable bet. It's going to be a close wining game.

Won't touch it until I see the lineups. If Watkins plays, yep - going with +1,5 on Villa makes sense.
As already said, I can see myself trying a draw as well - the odds are around 6 which is quite attractive.

City hasn't been at their best for a while and Villa can be dangerous if given some space to counterattack. They need Watkins fit though.

Watkins will not play, he had a serious knock and would be likely available this weekend. It's doesn't make sense to risk and throw him to wounded lions (Mancity) like that. Win or Lose Aston villa are in safe heaven.

+1.5 can actually work without Watkins; all we need is for the defence to avoid being pussies and opening themselves up to every dick City attack. I trust Martinez in games like these; he'll bully Halaand into an early yellow card.
