Losing vs Norwich cost Pep a whole lot.  That's one must win match out.  Now they'll be hoping LFC would lose one too which is so unlikely.

Coutinho must be saying...  'Damn I blew it!'.  Grin

Oh, nice. I was there a few times, did some european away games as well, but not being from England makes it kinda hard.

Enjoy while it lasts, this is by far our best team I watched - and seems Klopp will not extend after his contract runs out.

Oh, nice. Are you from Liverpool or just visiting?

Yeah, Newcastle are a tough, tough opponent, with or without Rafa to guide them. Again no offence to Steve B, but he doesn't belong in this era I have to say if he refuses to change his approach.

Newcastle were horrible even with Rafa but he managed to hide it. They are one of my strong picks to drop to Championship this season.

Really did not expect this. Liverpool 5 points ahead of City and 7 ahead of others after 5 games, incredible.

Straight wins since March last year.

Hope Norwich hold out to win this game but it looks like that City goal on the stroke of HT will give them confidence to come back & win.

Any way fuck that - LFC_Bitcoin @LFC earlier today Wink

Saw the picture in WO!
City down 3 - 2 (Rodri just scored or it was 3 - 1). If City lose 3 points today then we are well ahead by 5 points (total 15 so far). I hope you enjoyed your time in the ground.

More power to Liverpool!

Edit:
It's official now! City lost 3 points 🤪

Norwich 3:1 Man City
I don't watch this match, so, can somebody explain wtf is going on Cheesy? Norwich stats - 3 shots on target and all of them were converted to goals.

@hilarious I do recall draws getting me a lot of points last season in Superbru and generally I know I should also pick more draws as upsets. Judging from my performance on betting (as I hardly ever pick draws) last season anyway, I would have had a LOT more winnings picking draws or handicaps when the underdog I bet on go for draws -- but the gambler in me wants the whole bag is the problem!

Well I got one of the draws right and with the correct score. The only shame is about 13 others also picked that  Grin Angry.

Man City are currently 2-0 down to Norwich  Grin. Hope they lose as this will give Liverpool a huge boost with taking them 5 points clear. Only 30 mins played so far so City can easily recover but I'm hoping they don't even if it costs me the points on the outcome  Cheesy.

Edit: City have clawed one back. Praying for VAR  Cheesy.

^  No idea about the white hair but he seems a bit fatter.  Lol.

Anyway, United - Leicester...  Seriously, was that deserving to be a pen?

I could careless  Tongue

I've got Man Utd to win in the pool and Rashford to score on FortuneJacks majestic 7.

Tottenham is running riot! Son is on fire! 3 nil at 23 minutes, Lol, Definitely not the Crystal Palace I was expecting.

Anyone notice Mo was first to celebrate Mane's goal? And then that group hug hehe. I know it's a little bit for show, but also a reminder that the dynamics between the Terrible Trio have always been that way!

@toke I knew we would recover but it took Firminho coming in to cut open Newcastle. Also just switched over during half time to see Hazard coming in. Is that white hair I see on him? I don't recall him ageing so quickly... the weight of galactico on his hair?Wink

Time to get thinking again.  Smiley
Totally agree with tokeweed , really tricky match to predict - Man U v Leicester, gonna leave it until last minute on that one. Heart says one thing and head says the opposite!
Good luck all  Smiley

It will be close. I was thinking about a draw but I think United should win it, but I'd like to see Leicester do well again and challenge for the league. They're in third place right now so who knows. Doubt we'll ever see anything like that again but I think that season of the PL was the most exciting in the last ten years. I have United to win on my accumulator though so would rather they win but I'd be happy with a Leicester win as it's always nice to see United lose especially at home.

I've gone for a lot of draws this week but I might change some. Brighton/Burnley, Sheff/Southampton, Wolves/Chelsea, Bournemouth/Everton, Watford/Arsenal & Villa/West Ham are all hard to call.

Yup.  I just couldn't see United losing back to back at Old Trafford.  But then again they got some key players having some minor injuries (so draw).  But then again, again this could be a good moment to gamble and go for an LCFC win and get more points than most in the pool?  I think mostly everybody in the pool could be picking United or a draw.  Hmmm...

Edit:  Made my pick just now.  Lol.

A gamble on this game wouldn't be a bad call. I could actually see a 2-1 to Leicester, especially given United recent form, but maybe the draw would be the better choice. Or United could just surprise us all and storm them.

Yup, I exactly did just that.

Anyway, was watching Real, it was almost HT, the score was 3 - 0 and switched to Liverpool vs Newcastle.  Lulz, shocked to see Newcastle is leading by a goal, away.  Cheesy

I've got five draws currently  Undecided. Really unsure of them though. Draws are usually the best to go for if you can't split the teams but they all won't end up like that or could be some upsets. Hopefully I'll get at least one or two right though to cover the potential loss from others. The good thing about going for draws is usually others don't tend to go for them because it's usually easier to pick a winner or go with the favourite no matter how close the odds are.
I always find it risky to go with draw, however it's not that I am really doing well in the pool and draw match happen once in a moon LOL. In fact, I see very good number of matches ends with draw.

I was thinking to pick draw for Man U vs Leicester, Bournemouth vs Everton but changed my mind and risked it for Man U and Bournemouth.

Quote
Leicester and Wolves maybe but not sure about Palace. With that being said they beat United at old Trafford and Spurs got beat by Newcastle last month so who knows.
If Leicester really can snitch some points from Man U then Man U will be in more trouble. After the first and only win so far (against Chelsea in the round 1), they seems lost their way.

Regarding this week's pick, I made only 1 draw I think. I went for broke and selected upsets for almost every game, except Liverpool of course. Depending on how today turns out I might just switch some scores on Sunday games. I never learn my lesson, do I?

I really do feel there are chances for Leicester, Palace and Wolves though! We're talking about 3 teams who either have suspect defences (and I mean United and Chelsea) or over-reliance on 1 guy to score (Spurs).

Brighton v Burnley:    BRI 1 - 0 BUR
Man. United v Leicester City:   MUN 2 - 1 LEI
Sheffield United v Southampton: SHU 2 - 1 SOU
Tottenham v Crystal Palace:    TOT 2 - 0 CRY
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Chelsea: WOL 1 - 2 CHE

United actually played way better than the results suggest. I think they have enough to beat Leicester.
2 - 1, let's see if they can manage 3 points.

Newcastle, on the other hand, is one of the weaker sides in the league and one Liverpool found extremely comfortable to play against in recent time so anything but a clear win would surprise me.

Huge setback for City in the title race.
City should be doomed 🤪

Liverpool - Newcastle, my favourite for this weekend, my opinion is that Liverpool will win with a lot of goals scored but not with a clean sheet

I am looking at minimum 2 goals difference perhaps a 3 - 1 or 3 - 0. It could be 4 - 0 too for Liverpool. Liverpool is going for all in to get 3 more points from this match, so far their achievement is 100%

I've gone for 3. Not sure if I'd go any higher. Don't forget that Newcastle beat Spurs away last week so the game could be closer than we think. I don't think Liverpool will blow this though.

Reminder that examplens, LTU_btc, BitSat still need to put their scores in.

Thanks for the reminder to my own favourite thread! I THOUGHT I put in predictions but Superbru tells me I didn't, hmm!

@big_daddy. Sportsbet doing the BTC drop is big. They really got it going for Bitcoin don't they? Do they have a chatbox?

My favourite match is also LIVNEW... but only because we meet old boy Jonjo!

I put my biggest bet of the season so far on Pool to win +2 or more at HT. Nasty ask knowing how the Magpies defend against the big boys but Salah and Mane are fired up to hit two each =D

I am a regular user of sportsbet.io and I had never any issues with them
Just read carefully the terms and conditions to get the promo, it’s not for everyone, it’s for users only

They are best bitcoin accepting bookie for me by far. I am somewhat of a high roller and not only they do not limit my wagers they also give me back bonuses from time to time. Just yesterday I got Email from them notifying me that I will get 40 mBTC if I reply to it. I was a bit skeptical (phishing) but since the mail required just my reply without any information from my side I replied and got the money inside 10 minutes. Hope they will keep it up and that other sites will try to match their quality.
Look like right now sportsbet.io is most active and good sportsbetting site as they are giving too many gifts and promotions for regular users I also need to create account and check if its working for me as well and at least we have EPL back and now time for using skills again as just start but competition is tough for many I need some good matches for going back in top five. Cheesy
