Yeah, you get a limited number of automatic picks if you forget to makes your own. I guess they have all ran out. Not great since we are only on week 6.

It seems I keep overestimating United. In my head they are still this great team that beats everyone and is a guaranteed 2nd place at worst. That's just not the case at the moment.

Honestly, the way they are going. They aren't even going to get top 4. They look clueless in areas. Pogba had a decent assist, and Fred finished nicely. But, they are just so timid in attack. Lukaku just isn't a top 6 striker in my opinion.

I thought this week I would have done terribly but no, I am still in 18 place and only 14 points difference from the leader. It just shows that things are extremely tight in this tournament.

This is strange to see this round 3 players didn't get any points. I thought the system made automatic picks for you if you forget, so they should have at least got correct scores for the expected winners like Manchester City? Or did they run out of picks or maybe forget to let the system pick for them?

Not that I'm complaining. Helps me move up the table to 19th Wink

My only exact score was United Wolves 1-1, thank you Wolves! Seems I wasn't the only one to predict that draw, so I don't feel so special now. I have a feeling I can get many points on United draws now.

Ooh damn I didn't hear about this story. I just know a few days ago he opened up about it, and that he had depression. Honestly, my knowledge of it is limited to the headline, because I didn't read it due to data issues, and haven't really been bothered to look at it as its likely just the newspapers spinning a headline off. I'll have to look into it later on.

^  There was a rumor that David Moyes sent Zaha back to Palace cos he was fooling around Moyes' daughter (prolly having sex).  I'm not really sure how true it was, but it went around quite a bit...

Fulham did well I think. They were on the ropes for much of the first half, and only really threatened on the counter. I think Watford will be the more of disappointed with the result than Fulham.

Wasn't Zaha from United before? I didn't recognize him from his face and I looked him up and he recently complained about being alone in his time at Manchester and was even loaned out after Ferguson bought him. Didn't even realize until I read him up now that he's no longer an England player (how is it possible people switch nationalities like that??).

He reminds me a little bit about guys like Jermain Defoe. Always reliable to score, and always gets bought by teams like Crystal Palace. I thought Benteke would also be that type of striker but good luck to him. I have a small heart for those type of underrated goal scorers.

Yeah, he recently complained that the Man Utd board didn't give him sufficient support during his transfer to CP. Zaha is pretty damn good, and I stand by my previous statement he'll likely find his way into a top 6 team. He's always got the unexpected in him, and I feel he's not getting the support he needs in the Crystal Palace squad. Fortunately, their style of play suits him down to the ground though. He's very effective counter attacking.

Well that didn't take long to get started. I almost missed it because I'd only just opened my stream and it was still buffering, haha. You can watch the goal here: https://streamja.com/gL6E

This should be an easy second half for Watford, and I would expect them to get at least another one. Fulham's defending has been absolutely atrocious. Shame I can't change my pick - I had put down 3-1 to Watford but I reckon 3-0 seems more likely right now.

Edit: Oh well, good thing I couldn't change my pick, haha. Stand by my statement that Watford should have easily had a couple more though. Entirely their own fault they let Fulham back in the game.

Watford have had a really impressive start to the season. They are looking pretty good against Fulham, but they do look vulnerable on the counter attack. I'm thinking a score like 1-3 to Watford looking at this game.

Yes Watford are good and this is from a Spurs fan. We lost to them 2-1 and even that 1 goal was an own goal.

And the way they lost to United still makes them look good,,, which in the end is what makes the team great, when the supporters are happy after a loss. I had very high hopes for my team Spurs to make it but after losing 2 games in a row, and then Inter defeat, we are all very worried, especially when we lose because we did not play well.

I love my team so of course I hope they can make it big somehow, but I do not want another 2nd place or 3rd place it is heartbreaking,,, better to get 4th place but win FA cup or Europe. Even Europa league if we drop from Champions League. That is not the talk of a fan I know but the reality is we are all very tired the players. Kane cannot play every game to the max. And he should not be expected to do that.

Thanks for the reminder! I was sure I got my picks in but I hadn't so all in now for the next 3 weeks.

Even when Palace are struggling Zaha always looks somewhat impressive. When they were against Liverpool? A few weeks back I remember him being the only one threatening. Honestly, I can see a bigger team coming in for him in the future. Even if he's only used as a backup for one of the top 6 teams. He's definitely capable of coming on, and scoring. Especially against tired legs.

I loved Defoe he was always good for our team. We have Kane now but you could always count on Defoe for goals. It is very difficult for English players now, they have to be superhuman to play for the club and then get disappointed in country games.

I've not won a single yellow cap Sad

You are not alone, I didn't either , anyway posting this to remind everyone, is action time this weekend for the EPL to be back and have some fun with this 10 games. Some of the teams are tired from Champions League so they are not to be bet on them a big amount of money during this weekend cause anything can happen. I have seen this scenario so many many many times in every major league so be cautious.

Meh.
Eh?  Yellow caps?  Are those like the 'crown' thingies at the World Cup pool that could give you some bonus points...?

I think it should've been indicated under the 'rules' of the pool.  Anyway it's fine...  I don't think it would have helped me anyway.  Lol.

The highest scoring player gets a yellow cap each week, it's only a visual that shows who was the best for that week, nothing to do with bonus points etc.

Not 100% related. But, considering I've decided not to jump into the champions league pool, and I'm keeping a very close eye on Liverpool this season, because I think they might go, and win the league finally...they made PSG look like school boys at times. Very impressive. They aren't even at top gear, and some of their star players aren't even sharp yet. Yet they are still getting results. Think they could do it?

I've not won a single yellow cap Sad

Fuck. I totally forgot about these things. I'm actually going to sit down like I intended on doing weeks ago, and make my predictions up until the beginning of November just so I don't miss anymore.

I had Wolves 2-1 Burnley so I get 1.5 points for ‘being close’. Think most people got points out of this game. I have Everton 3-1 West Ham for the 4pm kick off.
After two very poor weeks I am back in some good form and have same points like you now looking forward for this match hopefully this will also give some good here in this match you are going with 3 - 1 and I am going with 2 - 0 lets see whats happen as just 10 minutes and West Ham leading by 1 goal mean now you can go with full points and now I have chance for only 1 point  Huh
edit: we are going to lost points as West Ham leading by 2 goals today Everton going as very shity side

Yeah looks like Everton will be taking a fat L today. I expected them to win, West Ham have been terrible so far this season.

That’s football though!

Edit - At GMT 18:37 - The top 10
