Wow. This was our toughest game so far in the league. How did this team lose to United 4-0? The same team that fell to West Ham?

Adrian is a revelation. I still feel he's not as instinctive as Alisson, but whatever his faults, he has been every bit as important as our monsters on field in keeping that goal. Really important win, I got to admit we were riding our luck at times, I'm glad our front 3 seemed to have a bit of an off day. Salah should have scored and his control was not his usual at all. Mane also taken off early?

Kante beat City last season with a similar burst so hopefully he keeps one in the chamber for Citeh next visit!

And hey, credit to Arsenal to win the game with 10 men.

Who's Brainboss? 3-2 exact score, you deserve the yellow cap!

Loved him at Swansea, laughed at him at Liverpool.  No idea why, just felt he didn't belong there.  Kinda like Moyes at United.

Yup, he did not. Backstabbed his whole coaching team to get another year, then completely disregarded his gameplay and bought us Benteke.
Cost us Sterling by playing him as wing back.

I will remember that champions league squad in Madrid for the rest of my life. The happiest moment of his carreer is when we finally got rid of him Grin

Meh.
I took the bait on Superbru and bought the "premium" feature which would give more insight and suggestions, figured I'd try it out for a week and see what it's worth. Took their pick on all matches so far (except these last two games), 1 point out of 8 games. Hah!

Ronaldo-esque by Creswell.  Now hold please.  Smiley

And the camera is on Solksjaer's face right now.  Rofl.  He's prolly thinking who's going first.  Him or Lampard.  Cheesy

OGS magic ran out spectacularly, didn't it? I don't know if any club now will ever go back to their old boys after Dalglish, and then now OGS, to take them out of the wilderness.

I predicted a 1-1 Utd draw only because they've been getting penalties almost every match but now at 2-0, impossible.

I'll lose my Wolves/Liverpool parlay but I should still break even with a Pool Moneyline. So itching to bet on Aston Villa now. Surely Arsenal can't kill themselves AGAIN though?

[Edit:  Oh and it would've been 0 - 1 for United if Rash didn't hesitate.  Lmao.
And I could have another correct score for FJM. I have Rash to score in Utd match and Ayew in Crystal Palace vs Wolves match. So far I have 2 out of 3 from yesterday. Already lost the 1BTC race but expecting to have at-least 30mBTC. I was very close twice with 4 out of 7 both times LOL

Come on guys, toke and cryptofrka, we've got to be really fair with Rodgers. He did get the Reds to play some of the most exciting football we'd seen since the defensive mammoths of Houllier and Benitez.

And we were in a deep slump remember, something even King Kenny couldn't take us out of. 3 years was nothing,

And the way we ran the league ragged in that season of Suarez? 101 goals, come on, Rodgers definitely had something to do with that. Come on, he was weird but he is every bit a part of recent Liverpool history and deserves creditable mention =p

He gave Sterling his European debut, but yeah, maybe we should have just let him rot after how it all turned out haha.

But anyway, I got 4 points yesterday. Leicester gave me joy, and then everything else turned to ashes. I did win betting, hedging my predictions, so there's that.

Sure...  But put Eddie Howe in that LFC squad Rodgers had that time when they finished second at the league and Howe would still have the same results...  Same like how some people criticize Pep for having really good squads to get results than how good of a manager he is.

Edit:  Oh and it would've been 0 - 1 for United if Rash didn't hesitate.  Lmao.

Edit:  Wow..  Wan Bissaka is saving United's ass.

Edit:  Hammers 1 - 0.  One more to go.

I got a bad feeling for United this weekend and I could be the only one to get the whole three points for that match.  Lool.
Well I am expecting them to settle another match with draw. My pick for them is 2 - 2. Utd really is struggling in this season and paying price of losing points against Southampton, Crystal Palace and Wolves.

But anyway, I got 4 points yesterday. Leicester gave me joy, and then everything else turned to ashes. I did win betting, hedging my predictions, so there's that.
You have done very well compare to a lot of us. So far it's disaster LOL

I only got 2.5 points yesterday but it doesn’t look like many others did much better. Four games today so a chance for all of us to do much better.

I got only 1 point yesterday mate  Sad

I could have had 2.5 too, but I decided to change my initial 1 - 1 pick to go for Newcastle to win 2 - 1, It backfired. I already locked my remaining picks for the week.

Same. A lot of us did terrible so far. 9 of us all got a mere one point. Was annoyed at Leicester winning. Had the correct score until they got the winner in the last ten minutes.

Brainboss got 9.5 points which took him up six places. He got the correct score on the Newcastle 0-0 draw which helped. Nobody else predicted that though a handful got the draw right.

^  Heh...  There's 4 more fixtures to go..  So 4 more chances to acquire more points.  Wink

It's a hard game to call. I've gone for a draw but it could go any which way. I'm not that confidant about any of today's games to be honest. Gone for all draws with the exception of the Arsenal game. Don't know whether to change the Palace game to a home win though.

... (and I still got my soft spot for Brendan Rodgers) ...

I assume you are a Swansea fan then? Grin

It is the only LFC manager I truly cannot digest, the only one in club's history without a single trophy after 3+ years in charge.

Regarding today's results - well, it is a truly disastrous round for me so far.

He lasted three years?  Felt like two...

*Checks the internetz*

Yup three.  Lol.

Six matches so far and my collection is only 2.5 LOL
Not only me, there a handsome number of participants with the same scores. Only a good day it was for Brainboss with 9.5 point! Well done brother. Leicester vs Tottenham, Everton vs Sheffield both were big upset.

Let's see us minors can recover today 🤪

So far so good for me today.

I will lose the Watford match but I have a Leicester parlay with ex EPL boys Cardiff and Fulham both leading 1-0 at 10/1... And a Sheffield Utd 5/1 at Everton also leading through a really lucky own goal. No shots on target and leading 1-0. Premier League huh.

If all goes well it's a big day for me but of course everything to play for. Hope Watford at least get a goal back. Damn City.

They are in the seventh heaven already, I doubt there'd be consolation goal here. I'm gutted with Everton scoreline tbvh, I hope they can savage a draw, I have them on double chance on a parlay.

Oh man, I missed your post...who knows? Maybe I would've gone with your prediction and won my parlay today (which I lost, i was expecting a home win in this game).
While the over 2.5 market was a win but I was so wrong about Bournemouth. They deserved the win.

So far in the pool, I have no point after the upset in Tottenham match. The only hope I see is to get some points from City and Burnley match as Everon is still behind by 1 goal.
