Some high scores in our pool so far this match week. I just about cling on to 1st place at the moment but it’s so close, even between the top 15.

Yeah. A lot of people did very well including me this time. Joint 1st at the moment. I got a point from every game so far which I don't think I've done before. I think Leicester should comfortably win today but the Man United/Arsenal game tomorrow will be tricky. United are too unpredictable at the moment and Arsenal are doing pretty well so I might go for a draw. United should win and I think they might just edge it but that uncertainty and unpredictability is turning me towards the draw.

I went -

Leicester 2-0 Newcastle
Man Utd 1-2 Arsenal

Thanks for arranging this for us again hilarious, really does make this part of the forum fun & worthwhile for me.
I’m really enjoying being a part of it again.

Seems lot of users got exact scoreline in this round, congrats on that. I just got one exact scoreline right, not a great week for me as usual 😁.

I was able to get two correct scoreline, Man City and Chelsea's fixtures those have been my saving grace this week. It's a big scoring week generally with 21 users already on double digits with 2 matches left.

This round wasn't the usual walk in the park for Liverpool and Manchester city. It was fun seeing them struggle to get a win, it makes the race more interesting and captivating to watch.
I really thought Liverpool where going to drop some points today as the 2nd half gets underway due to Sheffield's resilience, and I never doubted that Man City were going to win though.

It's great weekend for me so far. I went up to 3rd place from 6th. And I'm just few points behind you. Just 2 weeks ago I'been somewhere in the middle of table and it shows how everyone is close to each other now.

Mehn this sucks, so I'll be losing my yellow cap 😭 thought Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea could score more goals but they all disappointed anyways I'm grateful we got our first clean sheets and Lampard's first home win although I didn't predict a clean sheet but hopefully many more of those will come our way.

Liverpool is so lucky in recent games, it has a smell of champions all over them. Yeah, they missed some sitters today, but they can feel really fortunate to go home with 3 points - Sheffield really played some good football.

VAR against Chelsea, this today, it is all going too well. Grin

Tottenham in 4th is already 10 points behind, just another confirmation that it's again a race between City and Liverpool.

Farewell LEO: o_e_l_e_o

I've got 5.5 points from the 7 games, I'd say I'm doing great compared to last week  Embarrassed
My nightmare came true LOL. Do you see me here? Only manged to get 5 so far LOL

And on FJ majestic seven, I got Kane, Callum Wilson and Wood... while Raul Jiminez and Pukki let me done, still got Aubameyang and Aguero left, perhaps, I might get another 30 mBtc
Good luck on that. I already had 3 wrong pick so I am not going anywhere with this.

However my acca of 4 selection has two wins already.

I feel that I am going to have another bad week in this round too. I was expecting a correct score in Aston Villa vs Burnley match but the 2 - 1 score did not last more than two minutes. It's 2 - 2 now

Bournemouth vs West Ham looks like it's gonna be the better match to watch compared to the rest.
So does the Aston Villa vs Burnley match lol.

I went with a couple of draws though, but I went with the wrong fixtures  Undecided

So far a bit tepid here. No surprises at all from any of the games, if we're being honest. I really should predict more to expectations... can't remember the last time I had more exact scores than today (3). Then again, looking at week scores, so did everybody else haha.

My Villains couldn't pull through a win so pointless that I won the Liverpool and Chelsea legs of my parlay.

Even Everton to win is only 8/1 so I'm not going to bet on that, even if I'm hoping blue side of Mersey holds Citeh off. A draw's the best to hope for IMO but maybe we get luckier than we already have been.

Edit:  Well...  Expected.  Goal, 0 - 1 LFC.

I expected more goals scored by Liverpool
I’m waiting for the final whistle, cause I have a few tickets with Liverpool winning (connected)

Let me guess...  You bet the over 2.5 goals + Liverpool to win as a parlay?  Grin  I had the match at 1 - 2 at our pool tbh.  Happy to get 1.5.

Anyway, what you guys watching next?  Bournemouth vs West Ham looks like it's gonna be the better match to watch compared to the rest.

I can't remember the last time we finished a first half with 0 shots on target but well done to Gini, blistering shot and that's how you shoot from edge of box on a slippery pitch. Surprised we don't try that more given the range of driving we have.

Blades had a few good chances but for want of proper finishing, though they play like this against others they can win easy.

Salah should have scores. Mane too. And Bobby should have been selfish. 1 point. I bet a parlay on this game too I thought 1.4 away was good value booster so yay.

Pep at every Sheffield United save.  Lolol.

But seriously...  They've been really impressive intercepting Liverpool's attacks so far.

There could be no points for everybody.

Edit:  They're counter attacking is also superb this match.  Impressive.

Everton has lost in their last 3 games against Manchester City
Manchester City is in a 3-match winning streak

Today's match is an away for City, and my opinion is that City will win  this one

When playing at home, Tottenham is unbeaten against Southampton in their last 3 duels
Southampton is in a series of 4 away wins

My pick is 2:1

Have we all done our predictions yet? It’s getting tight at the top of the leaderboard, too tight. Still early though, we will know who is going to challenge for the paid spots after Xmas.

It'll probably always be tight. Was last year. There's so few points between results really. I think it should be something like 2 points for a correct outcome and 5 for a correct score, and maybe 2.5 for a close prediction. With getting 1, 1.5 and 3, there's not much in it. Getting the correct score should come with a bigger point allocation in my opinion as that's what's difficult and sets you out from the rest and with the current scoring system it makes it far too close. I think the BBC used to do 10 points for a correct outcome and 50 for a correct score and that was better in my opinion.

I will be doing mine sometimes later today and I hope this week I have a good round. It was shit last week with only 6.5 points I guess LOL. I will be also doing my pick for FortuneJack majestic.

Well you did better than most. I felt pretty confidant about my picks last week and only ended up with 2 total.

This week's games are really tough to call. I messed up in the last round, I seriously need a good one now and I'm clueless as to what to pick Grin

The 3 o'clock kick offs are tricky. Bournemouth vs West Ham, Villa vs Burnley, Wolves vs Watford and Palace vs Norwich should be close. Could go either way. Hard to choose between draws and home wins for them.

@hilarious -

I suppose it’d help a lot if United sold all the underperforming, supposed star players who are on obscene wages & clearly not justifying them. It’d be better to stick to youth, players who give a shit.

Man Utd need to bite the bullet, fire Ole & put somebody in temporary charge until they can get somebody who deserves to be manager. Look to Simeone, Pochettino, Anfelotti, somebody who has won stuff as a manager. Ole is a joke.

Why would anyone of these leave their teams to join the sinking ship that is United? Are they going to go through all the available world class managers in the world before they realise it's the players? The problem really isn't the manager and I doubt any of the ones you listed would do much better. I really wish Zidane had become the United manager rather than go back to Madrid just to see how well he would do.

Of course Solskjaer is not the man to bring United to former glory. But I think people are not really aware of how low United has really fallen and that it will take time for them to crawl back up.

They will just waste more time if they change managers after every 10 games, that club needs stability and currently I think Solskjaer with this team he is starting to build is doing quite ok.

Managers don't even get a chance to do anything these days before they're fired. They should start firing their squads instead. Maybe they should bring in a transfer window for managers to stop them being sacked after five games.

Hahah, I have to admit I did not see this coming.

Easier picks this week I believe- we will see - I really dropped last week, so hoping for a better week.
It’s not to tight at the top, seems to be one single front runner at the moment ...... Smiley, but I’m confident we’ll catch you up fella .
No, seriously, Keep up the good work  Smiley
