They have a good chance on EPL yeah but on UCL thats a different case. Real Madrid is probably the biggest favourite to win the UCL though and lets not forget that Bayern Munich could even make it to the top as well

agree here, or at least wish to agree
City had it hard way to win first UCL, but now that first one is out of the way, they will have it easier to get into final rounds and win UCL
not saying that it will happen this season (or at least I wouldn't like it to happen), but they are probably bigger favorite to do so compared to Real and Bayern
maybe Arsenal can do something on that matter, but they also have that "first" trophy problem, so City going till end seems inevitable

Nobody seriously believes City not gonna win the title right? Maybe another treble actually with full team healthy.

Manchester City potentially have 52 points if they play the 23rd game and win it which means they will stand on top of the pack but honestly Im not convinced yet because Arsenal and Liverpool still have a pretty decent chance though in case if they dont mess up.

Maybe another treble actually with full team healthy.

Third goal through Alisson legs but that's not mistake, just slow reaction. Any keeper is made by media to look bad if goal goes between legs, but it's totally normal thing happens every few saves.
The third goal took a slight nick along the way which changed the direction of the ball just a little bit. I would not go too hard on Alisson on that one.

It sucks how the English media does not allow Arsenal to just show a bit of passion. All clubs and mangers can get as energetic as they want, but when Arteta runs around the touchline he is tagged 'immature'. Klopp has pretty much run off into the field after an additional time winner and it did not attract any attention at all.

I didn't watch the game, but how did Liverpool get outplayed in one of the most important games of the season after smashing my club a few days ago?

The English media must eat, right? And the way to do it is to create unnecessary drama, send false messages, and spread propaganda. Only the bad guys get media attention, and since Arteta spoke out against the VAR and refs, he's gotten too much attention from the media. I recall Conte running on the touchline and frequently jumping into his daughter in the stands. It is simply passion.

Good job Slissy, kinda low scoring round with 12 points for yellow cap but I guess nobody predicted all the early draws which were all high scoring too, hard to get exact. You also climbed 5 places which is so precious as the season enters 60%.

For me, only 6.5 points and saved by Manchester City exact score.

Nobody seriously believes City not gonna win the title right? Maybe another treble actually with full team healthy.

I'm with un_rank here, passion for the game, even emotion, we need to allow it a bit more and forgive some transgressions. Media def harsh on Alisson, not sure how anyone can be perfect. Let the manager eat into them, he'll do it for sure.

Right then, City did their job. Pretty much the way we know they usually do. Hope that loss at Emirates smacks the poor form out of us. That was not a good match to blip on!

The goonerz are leading now thanks to some elementary mistake from Van Dijk and Allison. I think it was more of a Van Dijk mistake cause he should really be taking care of that.
Now we got to hold on for the win.

Well done for the win, I think the bookies said Arsenal were the favorites and they got it right this time.

Saw the mistakes. This was Van Dijk for sure. Alisson was coming to get it, but Van Dijk got barged and shifted Alisson. If he just took care of it instead, no problem. Why he did it when keeper has to come out of box is weird.

No matter which one was in fault I think we cannot point to one person specifically as football is a sport played in group and I think the fault is collective.I say the fault is collective because even for example let's suppose was Van Dijk fault then why the team of Liverpool did not react by scoring more goals to have avoid this bad results, this shows us that the fault in soccer is in collective and not individual, the mistakes are individual which are discussed after the game, the fault is common to all team.

Went against two seeded teams today and got rewarded for Wolves (but really, didn't expect them to score FOUR goals... Cunha hattrick? What planet do we live on?)
I went against one of the seeded teams, but the wrong one. Chelsea and United have been unpredictable, but so much so has been Wolves and WestHam, difficult to speculate how good or terrible their next performance would be.

Went against two seeded teams today and got rewarded for Wolves (but really, didn't expect them to score FOUR goals... Cunha hattrick? What planet do we live on?) and punished for doubting United at home. To be fair to myself, Chelsea were actually far more favoured to win by books than United so I sniffed the bigger upset. United have been finding the net now thanks to Hojlund. That 4-3 win and now a statement 3 points from West Ham. ETH will be breathing easy. Poch, not so much.

Haha Trofo's new Chelsea logo looks brilliant. Would have been funnier if Abramovich were still around, but there we have it. They might win the EFL cup though, so hey, not all is lost.

The FA did not let us win the last one, and if you believe they will allow us win this one, you are clearly unaware of what is going on. We're getting Anthony Taylor, and we both know what he does: the only directive given to Anthony Taylor is to not allow them win at all costs. LiVarpool will win the League Cup; it is already written in the sky. Russian Abramovich is gone. I don't see why we're still getting hate. Mourinho claimed years ago that there is a campaign against Chelsea and Abramovich, and everyone thought he was crazy; now we see it.

I never said Mou is crazy, he's absolutely special and absolutely right. I pay weekly membership fees to continue the secret campaign versus Chelski.

But seriously, you're not going to just give up on EFL cup? There's a nice 100,000 GBP prize money. It can help you pay 2/3 of Caicedo's weekly salary!

Well done Toon, you cost me 25mBTC today. You have to do something really special to concede 4 goals to Luton.

City playing on Monday, so let's increase the gap tomorrow. Arsenal doesn't look as good as last season, I feel confident we won't lose the game.
Thiago looked fantastic in training, I hope for a cameo appearance - he's a perfect fit for such a game.

Lost 4mBtc on spusy Spur. That Luton Manager needs a bigger job he's fuckin good on counter attacking football and he knows how to weaken the bigger boys..

That was a crazy matchup. Luton score 4 goals in 2 straight matches and now move a point ahead from the relegation zone. I also expected it to be an easy match for Newcastle since they were playing at home and were building a good run of form.

Aston Villa are on fire, all of their forward players have scored and it is still the first half.

Is there anyone who watched the Newcastle-Luton match? It was a crazy match which ended by 4-4. Luton Town are really doing a very good work in offense this season. After defeating Aston Villa away I was thinking that Newcastle would win against Luton comfortably. However I was wrong.

Spursy was the start of Saturday, Brighton appears to be doing something to arrest their slump, Newcastle, well -- don't know if that's a stain on them or a shine on Luton!

Everything doesn't matter until tomorrow though...

Now we are heading for the another super round with the biggest match is Arsenal hosting Liverpool and many other encounters are going to have good changes in league table.
Arsenal win definitely. Liverpool are in good form but I just feel that Arsenal will have the edge in this one and make the title race a bit more interesting.

Brighton is the team which I find to be most predictable these days. I would expect Crystal Palace to win owing to the poor run of form of the seagulls, but they could show up with a masterclass.

Congrats to hilariousandco for winning the Round 22 Yellow Cap

Congrats to our pool captain. Now I realize we are already past round 22 and this very weekend we are going to have weekend 23 which means it is already taking shape who is most likely to end in a winning position.Unfortunately for me it seems as I am stuck in the 32-35th range from quite some time and quite some distance in points with the prize spots. There is still time though to save the season if we happen to have some consecutive positive weeks.

Personally think he was great yesterday but you know being unlucky was the main highlights for him on that game. He made decent attempt with his shot but yeah compared to the other top EPL striker, he is not there yet.
He is a very decent player. Has lots of energy, good positioning, ability to drop deep and receive the ball and pushes defenders all the way during the time he is on the pitch. If he could add just a little more to his finishing he would be great.

I counted around 4 times that he hit the woodwork so yeah that was quite unfortunate for him but as for Chelsea
That was a new EPL record.

- Jay -
We can hope someone unluckiest will also break this record in near future because records have never been going to stay forever.
No doubt he is decent play but sadly fail to give his best in last season, but we can hope for the better future. Now we are heading for the another super round with the biggest match is Arsenal hosting Liverpool and many other encounters are going to have good changes in league table.

Everton try to catch with Tottenham and Brentford will also try to fight back after many poor weeks and now near the danger zone.
