But to be fair to them they had been out of the champions league facing 7 times champions league winners and last years semi finalists away from home. A draw was an amazing result for them and sitting back to get it was a good decision, but I do not see them getting out of that group, maybe a Europa league finishing spot.

If they continue to sit back they will not be able to get enough point to take them to the Europa league.

Spurs are kinda vulnerable - they play quite open. I feel good about this game, we're the better team and will probably have control in midfield.
We were really impressive in the Cup yesterday - I think we're in a good period. I just hope Trent is back, there will be a lot of space behind Tottenham's defence to exploit.

Liverpool are always gonna be favorites again against this team but I think it's going to be all about how Spurs play rather than Liverpool. Scoring is guaranteed but no one except Chelsea have kept Liverpool out yet.

One way is you get lucky with one or two or three goals and then your opponents completely throw in the towel and the party starts, other than that you need to put in a half decent performance to win by that margin.

For us, this is the new normal! I've seen my team win twice in the last five months, so I'm not expecting much from them anytime soon. To make matters worse, these kids are on a life contract, so we won't be able to get rid of them anytime soon; it's either the project succeeds or we drown.

Value bet against Chelsea is always Under 2.5 or Under1.5 HT. Last match I took Aston villa +2 goal handicap to win.

Yeah I think that is why it surprised me,Newcastle a team which despite finishing in the top 4 last season they were not distinguished at all for scoring a lot of goals.They got there mostly of a really good defense rather than scoring a lot of goals and that is why it is surprising to me as a result.

As for those 9-0 results I had completely forgotten about them,it shows that sometimes some weak teams have a really bad day and they are punished in an extreme way by suffering these humiliating defeats with such results.

If I remember correctly, the quotes for such an outcome with the exact score should be more than 500. I can imagine the emotions of the one who bet (money, it seems there are no such crazy people in our poll) on the exact score 7-0 or 9-0 Grin

By the way, if we draw analogies, I remember how last year things were going badly for Liverpool, but they beat Bournemouth 9-0, but that didn’t change anything - then they lost points again and only reached a good level towards the end of the season. So it may still be time to bet against Newcastle.
