Ya really boring few days. Tennis should have made it more interesting but damn you Alcaraz whenever I go for you except one time, you let me down. He's becoming the new Tsitsipas for me.

I had to rebuy to stay in LMS and I doubt I have any chance at all to get 10 points gap in 2 rounds, I'm just there for the fun now.
We all had to rebuy, bit nobody did it like me for fun Grin
vd309 could be rich soon if he continues winning points in LMS.

I did it for fun too, 10 points gap with 3 rounds, it was very stupid but I hoped and hope did not win Grin

I think there are many rich guys in BSFL, from being smart and corrupt Wink

I see we have 6 different answers.
It's gonna be a very interesting week for us.

Finally I got off to a good start by getting the first point. just 5 different answers left. You have the advantage in tennis because you have USA and i got Spain. I should have used VAR on that question when I saw how badly Nadal played.

I feel confident that you will not get the F1 question right. It will either be Verstappen, Norris or Leclerc. The only ones I can see who have a chance are Sainz or Piastri.. But if Piastri is leading and Norris is behind him then it will come a team order to let Norris pass him..

The next big excitement isn't until Friday, then we either see a draw or Monaco lose😁

2, just enough for the title Grin
I think these are my first 2 in BSFL's history and yep, I don't like them.
I think you did something dirty to sabotage him, or you just bribed him.
Didnt both of you came from the same local board?  Grin

Spain is out, and Italy's chances of winning this are currently 2.00; it was around 2.70 yesterday when I made my pick. Missed the USA-Australia early kick-off; should be an easy win for the USA.
Poor old Nadal ruined everything from Spain.
I think Italy with Sinner is always the favorite and It would be sweet for me if they could win the title.

I had to rebuy to stay in LMS and I doubt I have any chance at all to get 10 points gap in 2 rounds, I'm just there for the fun now.

This VARsil (like we said to Brazil) is a joke, in everything inside and outside the pitch, avoid them like plague.

Its gonna be a boring two days, until the Monaco-Brest match for us, so many emtions for the weekend saved.

Not this Brazil though.

Yeah, I do agree. Then again, they were decent favorites by the bookies as well - and bookies usually know their shit.
Based on a feeling I went with an 'unexpected' outcome, but I assumed most of you would still choose Brazil with BTTS. I didn't expect all of you having Uruguay.

Yeah, if I recall, I actually fell for Brazil the last time they were on BSFL. Not anymore. It's not just their attack I think, even Alisson not being there is a big problem.

Wish I didn't go through the sheet, because I like my answers less and less. F1, what was I thinking? And Davis Cup, now I have to hope Italy lose, otherwise mv gets the leg up. And I thought going against Sinner was smart...

I need differentiators and this was a good one - no matter how bad they are, you expect Brazil to always win at home.
Not this Brazil though. Didn't watch much of them but seems to me only guy in their attack that is trying to play something is Raphinha. Vinicius for Brazil is nowhere near those levels he shows in Real and they don't have quality in the midfield. I mean Bruno G is ok player but not world class and than you have Paqueta who sits on bench for Gerson. Have no idea who he is but judging from the fact no big club bought him yet...

14 World Cup qualifying games, one goal and one assist for someone who is the face of Brazil in Europe, their best player, and the current face of the Brazil team. I'm forced to believe that Vini is a systematic type of player; take him away from Madrid and he may struggle elsewhere. Estevão Willian should be given more playing time than Vini, even if it means leaving Vini in Madrid.

I didn't think twice on that question, know Brazil is ass.

Problem is, my LMS nemesis already got 3 points. Never expected Turkey to not win against this Montenegro side. Germany was easier to get right and Uruguay was a slam dunk. That was only question in this round I was 100% certain of what to pick.
I was also very certain Turkey will win that I picked them to keep a clean sheet and cover -1.5 handicap. I guess sometimes pride is a big factor in the outcome of a match.

I guess that's something for Djokovic to consider, he should go out with banners still flying high and not force it down the stretch, easier said that done btw.
Just like Kroos did. There is something beautiful about being remembered at the top of your game with the lasting memory of you being you at the prime not gradually fading out of the spotlight while trying to show that you still got it.
Easier said than done as you said.

Everyone would easily forget him if he had lost the match, but the last guy who beat Nadal, or the guy who sent Nadal into retirement is a topic that would last forever.

What an extraordinary career, I wish the final part of his career hadn't been plagued with injuries, I guess that's something for Djokovic to consider, he should go out with banners still flying high and not force it down the stretch, easier said that done btw.

I think he took that part personally, at least he's going to get some kind of gift from Nadal for that last time.

Nobody want to leave while their banner is still flying - Djokovic is still in the mix, winning titles and competiting on the highest level, we're going to see him in couple of years before that happens.

Has any tennis player ever retired while their banner was still flying high?

...and well, this league loses one of the legendary tennis players, as far as we are concerned in the sense of appearing in the questions, well, these have not been his best last few years... a situation that has taken him out of the options (question-BSFL), so, When I saw the Davis Cup question, my thought " Vamos NadaI"... one more time.

Anyway, sport at its best shows once again that until the game is over, there are no favorites, an unexpected defeat for Spain... anyway, we all wanted to see Nadal say goodbye at least in the final match.

Van De Zandschulp didn't pay attention to the script, how can you treat a legend on his way out like that - 6-4, 6-4 in straight sets is wild.

The script was Italy vs Spain to play in the final until Van De Zandschulp ruined it  Grin

Nice that I was the only LMS guy to fuck this one up.
When I saw your answers, I was actually quite happy. I need differentiators and this was a good one - no matter how bad they are, you expect Brazil to always win at home.

Interesting that 5/6 of us have a draw in the Milan-Juve game. Didn't expect that one.

Ikr, considering that he is top 2 in LMS and division 1. I never would have expected him to pull that Montenegro answer. It was a bold move that should be usually pulled by someone that is desperate to catch some lucky point

-snip

Big risk, even bigger reward right?

Well it could also backfire if only Turkey ended up winning. Bold move indeed, I wouldnt even have any guts to pull that off if I on the same position as he currently is. There is alot at stake but it works out for him

Your targets are slaman29 and Saint-loup. In the case of slaman29, I have to wish him some luck against notblox1 as he can help me secure at least 4th rank (since I will win this round Wink ).

Thank you, I will help you as the best I can, since if I win this round, I believe I will successfully stay in the top division for the first time of my BSFL career!!

I don't wanna count chickens until they hatch tho

All answers sent on time, and I am facing slaman29 this time.
Dont let you his position in table deceive you, this is top class team still hanging in LSM, and I see we have answered many questions the same.
Good luck to buwaytress, darxiaomi and cls63, it is time for them to win their matches.

I had to rebuy to stay in LMS and I doubt I have any chance at all to get 10 points gap in 2 rounds, I'm just there for the fun now.

Everything is close, we have much the same, and as a result 0/2 so far Wink Edit: 1/3

And if that has worked the past weeks to have you still in contention for the LMS crown best to stick to it.

Now the Montenegro backers are a "whole" lot happier. Grin Grin Grin Grin

I know I didn’t back Montenegro in the game and I really wouldn’t still do it if I had all the time in the world to make a decision, I never expected Turkey to drop points against them honestly, while I wasn’t super confident in Turkey winning with any sort of huge margins, getting all 3 points was the least of my expectations for them.

No, 6 people (Da_Silva, Patikno, chi20, imarios, MAAManda and Trofo) have selected USA as one of Davis cup finalists and 4 of them (Da_Silva, Patikno, MAAManda and Trofo) have USA as the winner too.
Thank you. I should have just used ctrl+F to search for the keyword rather than eye balling it.

Didn't think much about tactic and went with my gut feeling that Italy will do bad here.

I think these are my first 2 in BSFL's history and yep, I don't like them.

How can you not like something that got you into your first division 1? And when things heated up, your Mafia brother granted you another free pass, stating he has no excuse for not submitting. How much gold did you give him to sit this one out for you?  Cheesy

Spain is out, and Italy's chances of winning this are currently 2.00; it was around 2.70 yesterday when I made my pick. Missed the USA-Australia early kick-off; should be an easy win for the USA.

Da _silva222 1:1 Igebotz - thank you Uruguay!!!
