I really wasn't expecting another cup round just yet, I think my team isn't really prepared for this round, I guess it's probably due to the nature of questions we've got here. However, getting pass this stage (both rounds) automatically guarantees a prize right ? Hopefully that will motivate the team well enough to just get through this no mater what it takes

That was much a needed 3 points for my team too, after what went down last week.... It's a great way to bounce back even though it wasn't much of a great performance so to say, but all that matters at the end of the day is those 3 points, thanks to Man United for putting up a mini fight and not concede load of goals like the awful team they have been all season long
It was very close match between us but congratulations on your win.Arsenal was much better team and they had few more chances to score second goals but result remained 1:0.
I was first thinking of choosing 1 goal difference answer but I took more risk with this one and I lost.
Fight for title in Division 1 continues, and I am waiting to see updated table.

3 points for me this week, not too shabby for +2 SD. Anyway, I thought I would lose this round especially when Im behind on question #10 but Latvia scored on the overtime which makes it a draw on that question. Arsenal also scored their goal on 21st minute so I thought this could pretty well cover up -1.5 handicap for them. We got Onana as the goalkeeper so yeah whats stopping us to lose to concede more than 1 goal against Arsenal lol

Although I doubt it is gonna happen, a win for Austria against Switzerland would save me the draw I think. When I first checked the odds a few hours ago, I thought what an idiot I was to not do some more research as Austria was at 9.0 I think. But they are still above 3.0 despite the lead they have now. But let's see, wonders may happen!

Jesus, I really got my ass kicked this round, loosing 6-2 at the moment and it could end even worse for me. I really chose the worst possible time to underperform.

Finally Latvia finds themselves in front after chasing the game from the first period till the third period when France got the first goal..and with less than 3 minutes to go this result could just secure my much needed draw as this would have gone against me and landed me another defeat ..but I get to survive this one

That's true. But they couldn't compete in the Austrian league because sponsors were hard to find. Then the KHL offered sponsorship for the first three years (if I remember correctly) and it looked good until those three years passed. Then again they couldn't find sponsors.
But let's face it. Croatia can never be an ice hockey nation with three ice rings out of which one was built with private money. That's a shame because Medvescak games had a great atmosphere! I loved it and because of it I actually started playing ice hockey for fun. It was a great experience until I got kids and didn't had time for trainings.

Not done yet I think, but yes, happy to be in the lead. Even if it ends different, at least we both gave it good answrs.
Honestly it's hard to have faith in Chelsea or Spurs anymore. Even next season will be the same I believe.

I have a terrible score in the ice hockey question. I have 0 correct answers out of 3 games that were played so far. Fortunately a point isn't is lost yet because mitchr4 and I have different answer for the Latvia vs. France game. But I think he has one correct answers so far.
I used to follow NHL and international hockey in my youth so I am not really up to date.But after checking your hockey predictions I would say that you will most likely win 2 points.
Austria and France were always and I still think are awful hockey nations.

After today we both missed the chance for point in Dortmund match, I expected they would hold a draw but they are thinking only about Champions League final.Arsenal vs Man United will decide if you are going to win or we play a draw and my ass is saved from defeat once again
I think Arsenal is a huge favorite, just look at the list of missing players for Man United
Yeah, and I most definitely hate to have my fate in the hands of Man United yet again this season, they've been the team that have burned me the most all season long, but the fact that I could no longer lose the game gives me quite a ray of hope, other than just being completely depending on them for me to get a draw or lose the game.
Man United have won more difficult game imo, or at least get a draw when you expect them to lose woefully, I just hope this could be one of those days.

Oh shit! Mainz really ruined me in this round. I never thought that they can win against Dortmund, but mitchr4 did and now he equalized our score. I hope that Oklahoma and Boston can win 4 games because currently I have worse score in the ice hockey question. Maybe I should have listen to Trofo and not check the score until the end. But I can't... It's too exciting for me to just let it go
Yes and in the German Bundesliga pool I was the only one who went with Mainz and in the English version it was a hand full of guys who went with Mainz. But guess what I was a coward in BSFL and picked Dortmund and in retrospect that decision does at least surprise me because it was so obvious that there was tons on the line for Mainz and nothing at all for Dortmund. No Dortmund fan cares now that they lost this game. There is nothing to play as everyone is looking forward to the CL final anyway. What a stupid choice I made...
@Strongkored, you are very close to giving me the second loss of the season. Only the hockey question can help me to tie it, but you have to be very unlucky now in order for that to happen.
