With USA it's 90% gold in basketball, 50% gold in volleyball, 2 25% golds in other sports and 1% gold in running.

Meaning to say, most likely draw. Second most likely China win. Third most likely USA win.

USA was like 1.05x to have most gold in the start. But they had too many silver and bronze in the end.

Yes in the end, it was a good instinct for Hull and for Sinner (somehow lately I have tried to go against the favorites as instinct, because of my poor relegation performances of past seasons).

Yep, only the best result across all Divisions in H2H questions earns a point for LMS. I have no chance of getting that by being smart with Netherlands - although they will be close.

Japan was personally a surprise, and France really underachieved. I'd say that 7 golds in swimming was an overachievement by Australia as well.

Afaik, you just need to be better than your opponent to get the point from H2H for LMS. Which you will if China wins the most gold medals.

They have more chances, but at only 1 event their are the clear favorites to win it and its the same for USA. My guess is that we either get a tie or China wins it, with the latter being more likely to happen.

I can't say I’ve followed volleyball in recent years (especially since Croatia stopped having any chance for competing at the higher level) but based purely on the odds, the Italians are the big favorites, so a gold medal in volleyball is unlikely to happen. That being said, I might put some money on the Italians.

There's still a bit of hope left for a comeback as long as Japan stays in fourth place for the gold medal question.
