What's the tie-breaker if two or more people have the same freebets points? In division 3B, famososMuertos, B1g4udge and I had 4 freebets points each and the fee bet was awarded to famososMuertos.
Is that due to the more correct guesses in questions 9 and 10? If so, what would be the tie-breaker if two or more people are still tied after counting correct guesses in H2H questions?

It's time to announce the freebet winners and the LMS losers.

In LMS 36 survivors had 2 points or less, meaning they have to rebuy in order to continue. There are 21 survivors, crazy round.
SATWAT was the guy to destroy a lot of you - and he was literally the last guy whose answers to Q10 I rated (last submission in Div 3B). If he didn't have 4 points, all of you with 3 correct picks would have gotten a point in LMS - which would have saved a lot of people from rebuys.

In LMS we play for the initial prize of 10mBTC + all the rebuys, rebuy is currently 0.25mBTC, if you want to rebuy you need to do it before Tuesday's deadline.
You simply send 0.25mBTC to the escrow wallet.
Considering it's a lot of people and we expect a lot of rebuys - if you do rebuy you have to DM Trofo with the TXID.

It's a tie when someone has China, USA and the opponent has USA, China... It's only the gold medals that count and not the ranking as per silver and bronze. That's why both get two points if understand it correctly.

Japan went wild in the end. But this question was far too speculative and not really a realistic chance to get it right. Whatever though, not much to celebrate for me haha! Worst round in a very long time aside from my failed submissions last seasons

Okay this medal race just got interesting, I have USA and China in that respect order ✅✅ then had France and Australia to follow...this could mean I got 3/5 placements correct and technically gives me  a point over my opponent should the order remain as is

To be fair, US men's and women's basketball questions could have given me 2 points for the finest margin. With 3 seconds left on the clock, US decided to just hold the ball and run the clock down. If they scored 2 more points, that would have been 52 and point for me. Then, France actually led US at several moments in their match AND could have won with last hit but bloody Williams inside the arc... Ended US winning only by 1 point when bookies were giving a 17 pt spread.

So it looks like we share points, friend. Barring some miracle in medals tally (like some disqualification heh heh). Epic. I don't like my position though. 2 points from Trofo and you sound pretty on paper, but it's better than a loss I guess!

"Thanks" to BSFL, this is the first time in God knows how long that I’m watching women's basketball. After watching, all I can do is quote Dwight Schrute: "What's the argument here? NBA, WNBA. One is a sport, one is a joke. I love sports, I love jokes. Room for all."  

Since France was unfortunately one step too far ahead in the last throw, the usa women won the gold medal in basketball, which is why they are now in first place in the medal table. Not good for me, but that's just the way it is. So here's to next week with new questions and decisions.

Man, i cant believe how i not ende up winning this round against you hahaha, USA lose so many easy gold medals for them in this last days. And also that Sinner playing more than one game in a day and losing in QF..... if it was a little b it more delayed it was also gonna be a canceled question i think.

I was equally confused at his choice, he was already tiring as well as his opponent from N. Zealand and it was the better decision to split it and leave an Olympic gold medalist. He may have been thinking about the prize money and how they will have to split tat making him want to keep going.

It does not matter much for me since my opponent here has the exact same answers on that question, meaning we will be tie at the end of the round if everything stays as it is.

If the USA women win in basketball, the USA could overtake China again, so it will be a very close story.

Japan have also been fighting their way forward over the last few days and I expect them to finish third.

So all eyes on the women's basketball game, personally I'm hoping for a victory for France.

It does says so and the odds for USA to win on this is like 1.05 so thats like guaranteed gold there so yeah 1st and 2nd would be USA and China


Damn thats a draw for us I guess. Sinner losing the game was really unfortunate for me. Kinda wonder if they actually stick with the original schedule if rain wasnt interrupting the game in the fist place, he probably would have win the game but oh well. You're right! I wanted this result, because I actually needed China to win to win my final H2H and secure this round vs darxiaomi but I don't like probabilities and mathematically, but with only 2 true medals left to fight for, the BEST US can hope for is a draw (well, actually they would be #1 on the medals tally for superior medals but in BSFL we're only looking at gold haha). But I need them to lose outright to win my H2H haha.

So yeah, China just won the weightlifting gold (which was expected) for 40 golds. As pointed out above by Rikafip and slaman29, USA actually has 1 certain gold (basketball). That would take them to 39. They have/had 3 other events today:

Women's volleyball (Lost)
Women's wrestling (Lost)
Women's omnium: Legitimate chance with a team of 2 gold medalists from the women's team pursuit. And I think US is now in a huge lead... they are winning gold now for sure. (99%)

So, darxiaomi, our battle this round is a worthy epic, and will boil down to basketball. If US wins, then we tie on our first 2 selections:

You: USA, China, Australia, France, GB
Me: China, USA, France, Japan, GB

So... we actually don't get anything from there, what a shame. I actually wish I had more faith in Japan to bump them up to 3rd.
