I was excited about that too, but thinking of how Cro2 sets up the questions the odds of picking the right answer stays the same and sometimes it is just down to which way it swings on the day.

Still some tennis question to get through in this round, hoping my luck pulls out there and I stay in the LMS competition without needing to re-buy, at least not this early.

Second round another loss from me . I guess im really bad at this answering tournament. First two matches and both losses and im dead last. If i dont start winning i dont see a way of going up. How much players are getting promoted? Thankfully cant get relegated hahaha

I'm quite happy with these two rounds but there are still many rounds that can change things, but hopefully I can still get positive results in each round

I need to check my head right cause tennis has been serving me so well, while football is serving me badly. This was a great round IMO, a lot of low scores so it was possible to win even with 3 points, and still survive LMS while half the field got eliminated but seriously, buyin at 0.25 mbtc is no brainer guys

Not gonna even look at questions today. I want fresh eyes and brain for tomorrow. That worked for me 2 rounds already. And now I meet the other evil twin........

I'm glad the Olympics is finally over, praying my luck gets better with the football questions back in the mix, and need to stop this early bleeding before it gets worse.

Thanks for making it clear, I was also wondering why I got eliminated and I forgot that this iteration of BSFL isn't the same as the first one.

For LMS you get 2 points - Q6 and Q8.
In your league you have the (tied) best score for Q10 - 3 correct teams - therefore you get a point in BSFL for the freebet evaluation.
However, in LMS only the best score across all leagues claims the point and that is SATWAT with 4 correct teams predicted.

We are no longer using the same format (Knockout for lowest score) - all with 2 or less points are eliminated and if all have more than 2 - then the ones with the lowest scores.


You continue playing BSFL regularly but are out of the LMS side - competition that we play for more than 10mBTC reward.

Maybe I missed some of the LMS rules somewhere in this discussion, but I'm not sure how I  had an overall score of 3 and was still eliminated, despite the fact that other teams had lower scores. Are we no longer using the Euro format? (Knockout for lowest score).....

The first tie-breaker is the remaining H2H questions. Remaining means those that did not serve to one or more players to get the equalizing point.
There were 4 of you with 4 points, you forgot SATWAT. He got the 4th point by having the best score in Q10.
That means that Q10 is ignored from the 'remaining' H2H calculations, and in Q9 you and B1g4udge have less points than SATWAT and famososMuertos.

If 2 or more players are still tied after the H2H questions are evaluated, the one that submitted earlier (with less info) is the winner - in this case famososMuertos.

Sorry fellas, we owe you the rewards distribution. We received funds from SB, we play the season for 173,75 mBTC (regular season, LMS and the Cup combined) and 2850$ in additional freebets so buckle up - there will be something for (almost) everyone.
We're basically finished with it but I don't want to post it so late without doublechecking. Will be tomorrow for sure.


Yup, it's the correct spreadsheet. Sometimes points can vary between BSFL and LMS because if you have the best score in your Division you will get a point in BSFL, but if it isn't the best overall score across all Divisions you won't get it for LMS.

Worst start into a season ever if I recall correctly. Two losses is pretty painful, but two wins a row can turn things quickly, so still all good. But a down spiral can become dangerous at some point.

This round was quite extraordinary in results though. Very close calls, many results on the edge or unexpected. LMS is indeed a bloodbath, but since it works via points accumulation, a factor to consider also is how the top has been doing thus far. imarios is at strong 11 points already. Though it's still early days, but it might be quite different when someone's survives rounds with 3 points all the time while someone else is 20 points ahead after 10 rounds. Literally no chance by then to make up for that gap unless a miracle happens.

What are you talking about? Anyone with 3 points can be eliminated if that point came from H2H. But I guarantee nobody that scored 1 point in BSFL is alive in LMS. It is all about correct answers each round. You need at least 3 to survive but H2H points count only if you are best among all divisions.

Re-buys in this early stage while they are just 0.25 are a no brainier. I expect to see a lot of them

Well the good news for you is that there will probably no dota2 related question atleast until next month after The International start. This is like World Cup for dota2 fans so expect it to included next month lol

Exhausting round for me because I was checking the medal tally like every 2 hours or so lol. Too bad France women basketball didnt win against USA, odds totally show how dominating USA will be but the actual score was pretty close between these two
