It looks like I managed to decrease Slissy's lead to only one point after Durant scored 35 points, while both Tatum and Curry scored 15 points. Slissy I won't let you win that easily Grin

Damn!! I knew I should have chosen Durant!! Omg now I'm having flashbacks from the last time we played, I was leading 2-1 and there were 2 questions left and both were on Sunday, The same is happening right now😂

Haha. And I hope that the same result will happen again in this season. I don't see why it wouldn't Grin

I just check the DOTA playoff schedule. It's weird to see that the top two teams play against each other in the upper bracket final, but I guess that's how it goes in the bracket format. Anyway I hope Falcons will win it in the end. And of course, I don't see why Watkins wouldn't score one goal in the game against Liverpool. They need to defend five point difference to keep the fourth place that leads to the UCL next season.

CLS63 had I known Falcons were all-stars, I'd have picked them to win, but on hindsight, I want an OG to prove themselves. Never mind, I'll consider you win DOTA and we have 3-3. That leaves Ollie and Liverpool to take me home. Books only give City the slight favourites edge but that's too much respect for Liverpool squad in tatters (Konate also got injured last night). If I were a neutral, 22/10 on City? Absolute value.

Thanks for the update, I have totally forgotten to keep tabs on the DOTA question, I think I now have a very good edge over mitchr4, because Shopify Rebelion have been eliminated, while I have both Falcons and BetBoom to reach the finals and Falcons as the winner,  I just need Falcons to at least win the first upper bracket playoffs against BetBoom.

Trofo and cryptofrka, what happened in the Real - Leipzig question? I see that everyone that answered "Under 2.5 goals, both to score - no" got a green check while that's not correct answer since the game ended 1-1. That means that the correct answer should be "Under 2.5 goals, both to score - yes", but no one answered like that. Did I miss something here?

Yeah, I fell asleep mid-game and then marked incorrectly.
Going through the thread now to see if I messed something else as well, seems that this was the only thing.

We would have seen this eventually though - we always make additional checks.

Sorry for the general absence as well - this and next week are crazy tempo for me. But you've got Mini Me lurking around ready to assist.

Dinamo-PAOK in ~20 minutes. Can't wait.  Grin

PAOK was horrible but fair play to Dinamo as well. Looked like a routine win, let's hope there won't be any surprises in Greece.

Durant was the obvious NBA pick for me, shame that Jinetics1111 had him as well. I am a goal up and the worst I can do is draw, it's all in Ipswich's hands.

Don't know much about NBA (actually, know next to nothing) but my pick was based purely on average points per minute of the last few games and Durant was so far behind I didn't even consider him. Then he posts a haul way above his average. That's how it goes for BSFL, doesn't it?

Liverpool in the past have had stronger lineups, I don't ever recall ever getting odds lower than 3/1 versus City. That's just sentiment going to the market. Sadly, I'm part of it. COYR!

And they are out, like you said, and as I predicted too. Now the only thing is that I still need Falcon to get to the final to get my point here, the worst is if BetBoom wins then it becomes a draw anyway Smiley

3:2 for me now, I would prefer a better start but it's always tight in BSFL Renato!!

Damn Steph Curry!

You have 90% won the Dota question, I did not analyze that question, I only chose as it was in the question and that can cost me, I do not like Dota that even the team loses the semifinal, then then they have another chance to reach the final.

We are 3-3 now thanks to Durant, we will see what happens.

And now I'm sure that Trofo will write some stuff why they probably won't be in the final to crush my dreams Grin
Falcons are by far the best team in this tournament so them winning would be sort of expected. Of course, anything can happen and there are teams like Gaimin Gladiators or Spirit that are known to raise they game as the stakes get higher. So I would say only Spirit can stop them now if they decide this is important enough to play their best game.

Oh, I definitely didn't see this coming. I expected something like - yeah, they were good until now, but their best player just broke his middle finger in the last game and he can't play anymore Grin Anyway, thanks for confirming my expectations. Of course anything can happen just like Leverkusen almost lost last night game against Qarabag if it weren't for that last minute goal.

I can’t say Durant putting up 35 points was a fluke but then to be very honest Steph Curry and Tatum scoring 15 apiece seem more like a voodoo at work, I didn’t by any chance considered KD to be up for a pick for this match up, Booker is out and Toronto Raptors are the weakest opponent of the 3 opponents, but these are the games Tatum and Curry live for and it was quite an odd outing for both players.

I'm not following basketball at all so I really had no idea who to choose. I just checked their stats for this season and went with Durant because I think he had the best stats. Being voodoo or not, I'm happy that I managed to come closer to Slissy. We still have two more different answers (Aston Villa and DOTA) so it will be interesting. I hope that Watkins will score one goal which would make us even before the final DOTA question. I see that Team Falcon is still undefeated in the group stage with "goal" difference 14-1 so I like my chances. And now I'm sure that Trofo will write some stuff why they probably won't be in the final to crush my dreams Grin

I'm starting to lose my footing in the duel, and now arallmuus is only one point behind to tie the scoreline.

I need Sheffield Wednesday later to have a miracle performance and force Leeds to a draw or maybe an outright win.  Grin

Now we only differ on City lineup, NBA, Liverpool-City, plus DOTA, where I feel I have small advantage as you chose Shopify Rebellion who lost to Spirit yesterday, now they are in dangerzone.
Shopify Rebellion was terrible yesterday, totally disjointed and missing simple plays. Second map they heavily out drafted Spirit and had game in their pocket but still managed to loose by feeding one core after the other.

In my opinion there is no way they even progress to lower bracket. Gonna get destroyed today again. Or at least I hope so since I backed it with big bet.

Kevin Durant was the ideal pick why? Raptors defence stinks plus Devin Booker injured. Steph was on a b2b and Jayson Tatum had Aaron Gordon on him locking him up and Denver is an overall good team.

meanwhile Bayer Leverkusen are down by 2 goals to Qarabag, who could have anticipated that ?!
They probably underestimated them since they beat them two times in group stages already as I see many usual starters on the bench. Or maybe Alonso is playing it safe and focusing mainly on winning Bundesliga so they don't end up loosing on all three fronts, like it happened back in 2002. What an unlucky end of the season that was for them, and what a great team they had.

It might not have been the perfect result for Leverkusen at the end of the day, but I think them being able to snatch a draw from being 2 goals down would be a result to be highly contented with, with the 2nd leg to be held at Germany. Not to underestimate Qarabag like I did before today's match though, but I'm not sure they stand a chance now to secure the upset that slipped through their fingertips in the 2nd leg away from home.

I on the other hand went all "Yes", and my decision was simply influenced by the fact that it was a home game for Man City, and there wouldn't be any issue or level of tiredness from travelling and logistics wise so, I supposed Guardiola perhaps would play all these players but just give them an early rest in the second half. It's was just business as usual for Guardiola, a team rotation roulette  Lips sealed
My initial thought was all "No" but then I started thinking it through a little bit more. Tiredness is not the only issues there is always a chance for some stupid injury and some like KDB are injury prone and im sure Pep will be very careful with him.

I even think that I answered "no" at first and then changed it to "yes" because I saw how good he has been playing lately. I figured that Pep will put him in the starting lineup to keep the momentum Smiley I guess Pep thinks that with a 3-1 win they have secured their overall win.
I did exactly the opposite.  Grin

I first answered "No" for Fodden but then I started thinking that considering them having 3-1 from the first game, and having played the game vs Man Utd last weekend and then playing against Liverpool in 4 days, he will probably rest him. Guessed 3/5 of while BitcoinHunt3r answered all "yes" so not a bad situation for me.

Roma ML felt quite like some free money, alongside 1.6x Odds for a Liverpool win against Sparta Prague, I guess I was right after all, both teams are 2 goals ahead and it's almost halftime sure there shouldn't be any drama here, meanwhile Bayer Leverkusen are down by 2 goals to Qarabag, who could have anticipated that ?!
