It is time for our mafia boys to let us know the secret connections they have to Pep Guardiola! Trofo rocked that line-up question and - I think - won the round, right?
I was trying to find some info on whether or not some of the players will be part of the starting eleven, but I couldn't really find anything interesting. I wondered whether Guardiola would let most of the stars start and then give them a break at halftime, or whether he puts them on the bench and brings them on in case the unexpected happens and Copenhagen takes the lead. I went for the wrong bet here.
Congrats @Trofo, this looks like a head start as I am still at zero points and you got 3! I can only improve my goal difference from here for this round. Well played!
I was sure I have you on that question. Haaland to play and Walker, KDB on the bench were 100% for me. I was just guessing for Foden and Silva. Haaland always plays, KDB is often rested and Walker is playing in though matches against top wingers. Pep needs him fresh for Liverpool and Arsenal.
Yes it is interesting because there was one idea that led me to the wrong decision and that was that it's not always right to rest the players when you see that they are going perfectly well. In hindsight I was betting on you getting a "No" wrong where I got the yes. But really a difficult question.
In the case of Haaland, I obviously went with yes, but Guardiola has made some totally unexpected moves with him: I still have this sentence in my ears that Guardiola said "I substituted Haaland because he shouldn't break Messi's records too early in his career", which I think must be a horror for a player.
But anyway, well deserved win and I have to say that I didn't expect PSG to win their game away from home so easily. Sociedad is not in the best shape, but still I thought it would be much harder. But there we go again, Mbappe made the difference. His goals look easy, but they are crazy. His moves are so quick that you can't even react as a defender. Time for him to move on from PSG, but now I wonder how far they will make it this Champions League season.
