looking at score, and it is not a point for me, but I am no down either
TBH, draw was considered as main option for me, Brasil second, and Argentina to win was third option, IMO unlikely, but happened

-snip
Btw, what happened with Joelinton? I see he got a direct red card for violent behavior.

nothing much, I think that it was too harsh to give red on that, just mutual pushing
or at most yellow to both players

well, continuing this round on equal level with opponent, five more different answers to go

I was really struggling on whether to go with Brasil or Argentina in the second question, but finally chose Argentina and I chose well. The only reason was because Argentina is the world champion and they lost last game 2-0 so I hoped they would try harder to win this game. Didn't watch it as it was in the middle od the night, but Otamendi helped me get a 2-0 head start in this round. That didn't happened in thus season so I'm hoping for the best!

Good thing someone got a goal during that Brazil vs Argentina match because it was about to go 0-0 with the defensive pace it was going and I thought i'll be down early in the round. Grin

I'm also okay with the Division 2 fee if it becomes a thing in the upcoming seasons. The "penalty fee" sounds interesting as it could be charged through the rewards we get at the end of the season.

I'm glad to have gone with Argentina, even though I knew that a life long record is at stake for Brazil, as they've never lost a World Cup qualifying game at home, but that's gone now and also gave me the first early advantage.

I also thought this was going to be a goalless draw too, but the Brazilian players were playing overly physical, and getting unnecessary cards, I knew it was just a matter of time before a red card get issue, I was quite surprised that they were able to comport themselves in the second half until Argentina took the lead.

Man Brazil is my favourite team, so I had to go against my heart for this question. Plus they just aren't the same at this point.  Grin

All questions sent on time and I have green light for first one, Wales didnt win against Turkey just like I expected.
Turkey played with reserves and young players because they already qualified and I knew home team could not cope with this situation when they have to win.
This is just a start of the round round and I have many different questions from Strongkored, but team Notblox1 is ready for fair play.

Wales not to win was literally a consensus in the competition, I would have gone for Turkey to win or Draw if it was a 3 option question like that of Argentina vs Brazil, Argentina vs Brazil is the most divided question for the week, whichever the game goes there will a lot of players with points, I'm up against the newly promoted side Cryptofrka, and we've both got the first question correctly, while we have 7 question differences going forward, it's going to be an interesting one, I'm sure!

Better now than couple of weeks later. Really disappointed with all those people, it shouldn't be that hard to let us know you are not interested in playing and we could have had one Div 3 with engaged players instead of 2.
I know the feeling when you are expecting other people to be responsible  Tongue
Not sure why but I think last season was much better when you guys sent babysitter reminders before each round, maybe most people use telegram and receive notifications.

What? Hacking?!?! Oh my good heavens, serious crime! Thank God Liverpool has never been found guilty of hooliganism at a football final, leading to deaths and Europe-wide ban not just for them but for the entire English club football league.

It is precisely because we have been the most scandalous club that we can stand on the moral low ground and make fun of mickey mouse clubs that must buy success, and yet the only scandal they come up with is... paying atrocious money for peanuts. Chelski can't even get what Burnley pay for,

Gentlemen and Ladies LiVarpool fans are making fun of the 39 Juventus fans they killed in Heysel in 1885, which resulted in the league being banned from European competition for five years.

LiVarpool also attempted to steal data from Manchester City's scout database after City won the league title.

They got away with it,  no punishment or charges, but they want you to believe that Abramovich's Chelsea ruined football. Grin

It looks like we are saying goodbye to another 3 players from 3B who already had 2 penalties from before and didn't send their answers by the deadline…

That such a shame, I think it might be down to how stressful and long it would take to climb up the ladder but then everything worth doing is worth doing well, at least everyone new what they signed up for when they registered and they were well aware of the division they'd be playing in, so I really get it that we all have a huge and more demanding life outside this forum, but in as much as we spend every other couple of hours on here every week, that's more or less what it takes to fill the questions, but it could be understandable if they feel like the competitiveness download the ladder in division 3 isn't fun enough for them and it'll take quite a while to get as further as division 1-2, I think a better solution might be just two have to division and with something at stake for everybody, it wouldn't kill to have a 20-25 teams in division 1 and 25-30 for division 2, we can just increase the number of promoted and/or relegated teams, so a league of 2 divisions and more teams per division will surely increase competitiveness and some missing out on a week and getting 3-0 victory would not be as advantageous as it currently does. That's just my rant and 2 cent all in one piece!

Turkey played really very badly in the first half. I don't think at all that we can win this match if we don't change some things at halftime. We have exactly 8 different answers with darxiaomi. This is really so many. I must win this week absolutely after getting a draw last week. I hope that luck would be helpful for me.

I'm watching Croatia - Armenia but judging by the SofaScore graphics it looks like Turkey really changed something in the second half and started laying better. I guess this equalizer goal is the result of that and it makes me happy Smiley

We played much better in the second half and managed to finish the group as the leader by getting a draw. I'm very happy for being able to join Euro 2024. I must admit that the referee also helped us tonight. Anyway I have got ahead of Darxioami as Turkey didn't lose. But everything can change very quickly as there are still 6 more questions ahead of us. I hope that Brazil manage to defeat Argentina tonight.

@slaman29 we have 7 questions answered differently. This round could be rough if one of us fails big time. You are good to go for now with the Wales - Turkey game. I thought that the Turks would be much more active than that because currently they are relying on Croatia to score.

lol... Which I noticed just happened. While I was typing this I did a double check whether there has been a goal in the meantime. Now you took the lead in this question. Hoping for Turkey to have something up their sleeves!  Grin

Good luck!

I also hope that Turkey can at least end up with a draw because otherwise I'll be down a point. Thankfully Croatia scored, but Armenia showed some strength with few pretty good opportunities.

@slackovic it is looking good for us and guys I am not joking around, I just wanted to place a small bet because I didn't have much lying around and in the moment I placed the bet the goal was scored by Wales and the market went offline! Cheesy I thought what the hell is going on!

But then the goal was voided, haha. Now I got a second chance and hedged against slaman29. It is not much, but still would be a nice little bonus if it goes against me.

@cryptofrka I know you are sometimes hedging quite big right? But I like these opportunities when so little can make you so much while at the same time you win in BSFL if you lose those few bucks.

I didn't realize I submitted late and already really feeling ashamed for that. I also feel bad for my irresponsibility but rules are rules, and I will be eliminated after receiving the third penalty today.
The league and competition between users are unique beside the upcoming events in football sooner, and I regret messing it up like this. I truly hope someone else takes my place and uses it well.
I apologize for what happened and I will understand if I'm called irresponsible.

Slava Ukraini!
that would maybe open more space for basketball and Euroleague, tennis became boring as there is no player that can outplay Djokovic
Agree about tennis. After Federrer and Nadal got retired (yeah, I know that Nadal he still didn't retired officially), Djokovic don't face much competition. Only question how many Grand Slams he will win next season. I like new generation like Alcaraz, Rune, Sinner, but they're still far away from competing with Djokovic on regular basis.

@Saint-loup : Woah that literally last minute submission going to harm you one day. Happened to me last season when I was trying to always submit it a minute before the deadline  Tongue

I actually noticed prior from the rounds before that you always submitted your answers on last minute and not gonna lie, I was actually hoping that you overslept or something then you would miss the deadline but oh well  Roll Eyes
Lol, I wouldn't risk to play with fire in such way Cheesy Because shit happens sometimes, like internet connection can disappear or something similar may happen. So, better safe than sorry Cheesy.

It's sad to see that some users failed to submit answers on time again and got disqualified. C'mon guys, if you're not interested, there is people who would like to join into your place.
I also think that there should be some fee for Div. 2, not sure how much exactly would be right fee. While Div. 3 should remain free.

I just got home from a business trip and I checked the table. If I counted right, me and jeremypwr have only two same answers so it should be an interesting round. I hope this time I get more than 3-4 correct answers because I know that jeremypwr often gets a lot of correct answers.

As for the D2 fee, I'm all for it. I think that it brings seriousness to the competition and almost all places in the end pays for the entry fee.

I almost naturally lean towards fee for competitive events but BSFL does have a casual element that I feel is best expressed as Div3 participation. I can't say what the effect would be to impose a (refundable) deposit but if my experience on this forum counts, I suspect a small detrimental effect.

I'm not opposed to Div2 fee.

Is Trofo, Cryptofka, and buwatress aware that LiVapool was found guilty of hacking into the scouting database of another club? A fan base like this should not be making fun of other clubs' fan bases unless they have a questionable history.
