You know what I learnt today? Dejan Kulusevski is... Swedish!
I literally thought I was alone on this new knowledge, I had to doublecheck if it was the same Dejan Kulusevski, I don't know I didn't know for all this while, was this is first international cap ?
Just checked and it's 18 caps... stretching back to last EURO..! So I'm really surprised I didn't know it too, I really rate him as a Spurs player, just always assumed he was Balkan from his name, and also I do follow results, just never really paid attention to player names until his popped out last night.
So Sinner won against Rune and that should be enough for him to qualify for the seminar final. That's a point for me due to Buwaytress making a mistake while submitting his answers. But the problem is that Uruguay managed to win 2-0 against Argentina which us something I didn't expect. After all, Argentina is the world champion so I wonder what happened there...
Yeah, but to be fair, even if I entered correctly, you'd still win (my Rune vs your Sinner), so deserved point for you =) Now please Lewandowski, take it easy tonight and let me win =D
To answer your question, what happened to Argentina was Darwin Nunez. It's not just the goals he's getting in internationals but the way he plays there. Imagine Klopp pressing + Bielsa aggression (Slaman you were right about him, say what you like that he runs teams in league but he is perfect for international). Nunez literally terrorises defenders, and while Argentina are no strangers to that, this is a new level of Uruguay offence that is a huge departure from Suarez+Cavani style streetsmart football. It's the most direct lineup I've seen in recent times from S America.
