Yeah, I also like to see how Ukraine is played, but decided to go with logic, rather than emotions and picked Spain.

common sense is to put Spain, I have put England on likeability, they were winning all without conceiving goal, but overall Spain is favorite in potential finals too

will be an interesting round, a lot could be resolved during the week, especially in my duel with darxiomi where we have different answers on all YES/NO questions

my boy Norrie won first match, but I don't think he will see second week on tournament, except from audience

Is Norrie's second game schedule for the second week, because the Norrie's questions involves him winning his first two games, not reaching the second week like it was asked for top four 4 seeds, perhaps, your statement isn't related to the question asked, but just your making point, right ?

I put Sri Lanka and Scotland, without even knowing the games was scheduled for today, but unfortunately for me, I didn't put who will win the finals, it still has everything to do with me reading the questions or interpreting it wrongly, and maybe not understanding the sport well enough to know there will still be a final between them, because these are the two teams that said is left to make it the world cup because question go thus "7. Cricket World cup qualifiers are going on, 6 teams are left in qualifiers and 2 will make it to the World cup later this year in India. The question is which two teams will make it to the final of qualifiers and who will win it? Provide your answer in the following form: Sri Lanka,  Scotland - Sri Lanka. This is a H2H question." So my brain probably stopped functioning at the 6 teams are left and only 2 of them will make it to the World cup.

(I'm going to be hoping for a huge Dutch victory but it hardly seems likely)
...

I went with them, I consider them as favorites here. Not sure how common draws are in cricket though Grin

I submitted late today, but for the life of me, forgot to change a pick from Zimbabwe to Scotland after knowing Scotland won and KO'd Zim out of the qualifiers haha. Submitted the form as it had been sitting since morning heh.

7 same answers, so almost same as Trofo/Ulven!

Funny enough, my opponent who put in his picks early foresaw that victory -- so he probably has that point in the bag (I'm going to be hoping for a huge Dutch victory but it hardly seems likely). Then it's only DOTA and TdF left, and I'm really not confident in either. Go Liquid!

Hey fellas,

the spreadsheet is now visible.
2 players from Div 3A did not submit on time (Coin_trader and MAAManda) so the picks from Rikafip and Saint-loup are hidden.

We also have our first VAR used - Omikfuse changed his cricket picks.

Hello! Thank you for the update. I believe the VAR feature is only available for tennis questions, which means we can change our answers in case of a tie, is that correct? I checked the data tables and found that my opponent has the same answer as me except for cricket and Dota answers. It seems that a tie result for this round is not unlikely. Grin
Dammit, I am playing against you. Now I don't even need to check the table or watch most of the events. I am not gonna watch cricket for sure so that leaves DOTA. Great minds think alike, I am smelling 9-9 draw incoming Smiley

I had a feeling this round will have many same choices across the questions but I never imagined we will have 8 same answers. First football H2H was doomed from the moment Ukraine won against France. We also have a lot of yes/no questions where there isn't many choices so it is more likely to pick same answer.

I have sent my answers, I finally won my first 3 points of this season, I hope this round goes well for me, since I compete on fb although I have a difficult time against the Cro2 Team who are very good in Dota and other sports.

Good luck to everyone

Slava Ukraini!
Not that I know much about cricket, but there's also a surprising amount of interest in the Balkans apparently... and even in the Baltics, where Sportsbet has a huge cricket presence at grassroots level Wink
Cricket in Baltics? I live there and never heard that cricket is played here. I'm also not sure that we have pitch were cricket can be played in this regions.
BTW, I saw in my Youtube feed stream of European Cricket league which is played in Hungary now. Tried to watch a bit, but still not clue how exactly it's played.

I really wanted to go with Ukraine against Spain in the Euro U-21's but eventually went with Spain.

Let's see how it goes, eh? Grin

There's actually a cricket tourney next week organised by Croatian Cricket Federation! Some big names there including a Sportsbet cricket ambassador don't know if you guys recall Brett Lee from early editions of Behind the Bet.

Did anyone else find the Wimbledon on-site "IBM Slamtracker" pretty cool? I don't seem to recall it being there before even in other GSs, but this one shows a much clearer draw path than others with nice dividers for rounds and even a "helpful" predictor (never trust them haha). Or maybe I never noticed it before?
I think it was available on previous editions of Wimbledon, but yeah, it's really cool thing. And IMO, Wimbledon have best website from all Grand Slam and ATP and WTA tours.

By far! AO and RG I remember using a lot but their sites weren't very logical, and results and draws were so hard to view properly, but Wimbledon itself has a really smooth path mapped out, I just wonder why it's so hard for the rest to just copy the formats haha.

Note to Cro2: Now that VAR's available, is there an option in Google Forms to also email the results to the email of submitter? I remember doing it before with Gforms but not sure if that's possible for BSFL. That would help us remember our picks and see if anything needs changing before deadline.

I just take print screen of the form before I submit, since I have dropbox they are automatically converted into an img and saved on the cloud.
Also I think I'll need to use the var given a recent result.

Hahah, this made me laugh. Yup, a fucked up round for us all.

I just submitted, I did it mostly on statistics but I do feel some of my picks will be different than the crowd's general direction.

Basically, if you want to receive replies by e-mail we have to store your e-mail address. That is a default form requirement, so either we do it for everyone or we don't do it at all.
We decided not to do it for privacy reasons.

I think they implemented an option in which a user can specifically request it - but I have to test it a bit before implementing it. Will let you know how it goes.

Thank you for saving the night; it may have been better if I had staked the game earlier; it was 11 odds, but I spent half of my ticket time looking for my free bet option, and I was only left with 5 odds. This is the first time I've ever used my freebte to my good.

Awesome! Glad I could help. Sometimes things are a little bit tricky at first, but once you know how to do it, it's pretty easy haha.

And ofc congrats to your sweet win bud. +$168.40 not bad.  Cool

What's the appropriate account? mine is in mBTC at the moment and it hasn't reflected.

I had the same issue when I won my first free bet.

Just change the currency in the options tab from BTC to USDT and you can use your free bet.

It’s a little bit confusing at first, but if you did it once you should be fine.

And I was absolutely surprised to see European countries like Netherlands and Scotland trying to qualify for the World Cup in cricket. I had no idea that cricket is a popular sport in those countries.

not that surprised about Scotland (it is commonwealth world sport after all), a bit more about Netherlands, but as one my friend that lives there said, stranger sport it was, it is more popular in Netherlands, nobody wants to play regular sport, it is not "urban"
although, they are traditionally good in football and volleyball as well

but Zimbabwe being on qualifications is really surprise for me, not sure how far they can reach
really didn't thought to see cricket in Africa

Under news section, got it lol thanks for the mention again, I hope to see the name mentioned more in positive tones for future, watch out Division 2! And LFC_Bitcoin come on, you can do it! Get a few more wins in Wink

Most interesting for Kokee to get 6 points and still lose, what a feeling it must be.

OK who here actually knows about cricket? I know a little bit, but very very shallow, in fact in family am the only one who prefers football!!

I know absolutely nothing about cricket except that it's a sport that is popular in... India? Or is it some other country? I see that Sri Lanka is killing their opponents. I expected India to be the best in cricket. And I was absolutely surprised to see European countries like Netherlands and Scotland trying to qualify for the World Cup in cricket. I had no idea that cricket is a popular sport in those countries.

congrats to Spain for winning U19 basketball, USA without medal in the end

And I wonder if it will be similar for football, replacing USA with England instead, cousins from a very distant parents, but it is very tight when it comes to Spain youngsters, although I know very little about them to make a pure judgment.

Well... I just submitted my answers. This is the first time that I didn't check the questions on Monday and then dwell on them until Tuesday as I didn't have my computer yesterday. I must say that we have a wide variety of sports this week, but I guess we should get used to it as the summer has started and with it there won't be much competition in popular sports. I thought that cricket would be the toughest question, but if you do your research it's not that tough.

I see that this week I'm up against jeremypwr who is undefeated in the second season. I hope that will change after this week Grin
