Thank you and I hope you don't manage to spoil my streak.  Grin  I'm trying to be active around here as much as possible. Because the league is going on really excitingly and it is nice share some ideas about it. Maybe I'm on a solid winning streak but the points are still very close in top places. It looks like it won't be easy for anyone to finish the season in the lead.

It's a 14-man league, and an average of 21 points will put you in the top half of the table, which is exactly everyone's goal. You already have 12 points after just 4 rounds, and with 10 more to go, you only need three more wins to hit the point average for the season, which is a really bad ass move. I've won one of my last three games, and I'm currently looking for a "YES" for the F1 game to earn my second win of the season before playing you next week.

Although the odds are stacked against me, this is a must-win situation for me.

Didn't calculate and on the move now so can't really look back but I think I finished a point above relegation last season, or one extra position above it anyway. That is my main goal, to get the points to safety, then play a bit more relaxed.

Think I started similarly before too, though. Got a few good wins then took risks and failed in the last few games. So maybe best to just stick to being "regular" for majority of picks. Seems to be working out so far.

Not good that past opponents are bottom teams anyway, so I had "easy" fixtures at first. No offence ha ha

Man dont give me false hope please.
I already gave up this round but like phoenix bird I could return from ashes in last question, this is like losing in first half and drawing in the end.
It's hard not to when the last few questions have gone your way while i'm about to throw the biggest lead i've had so far this season.  Grin

I don't know what the track in Austria is like.
I have no clue as well, but I hope the other drivers outperform the Ferrari drivers since I also need that one final point to secure my second win.

The F1 question is likely going your way since Leclerc and Sainz are starting in the second and third positions.  There's still a chance that mistakes happen, but it's not a good sign for us who predicted "no".  Wink

Leclerc won the race last season so he knows the track very well and this was my main reason to think he is going to be in podium again.
Verstappen is in great form and I think he is big favorite to win but it wont be so easy for him this time.

Playing with CasperBGD is boring; he's never on this thread. I enjoy playing with Harkorede, buwatress, Slaman, LFC_Bitcoin, Slokovic, and arallmuus; all of these players are always giving me heat, which I enjoy. Banter makes the game interesting

I hope that you don't feel the same thing after you play against me as well next week. Smiley I made a quite lucky entrance to the season and managed to collect 12 points in 4 weeks. You are next now.

You're doing great, I lost to you last season and there is no better time to spoil your winning streak than now. If you're active on this thread you can't be boring for sure.

Despite the streak actually it is quite more difficult for me to answer most questions. Because the leagues have ended and I have lost one of my best fields in this league. Until the new season starts in the leagues it will continue to be more challenging for me here.

I didn't know about the update Ferrari were going to brought for Austria GP while I was making my predictions here. Because of that I picked No for that question. However I'm at least lucky to have guaranteed my first win in the season finally. I can watch the Grand Prix more comfortably as of now.  Grin

As long as Ferrari don't mess up with the strategies at least of the drivers should be on podium. I expect that driver to be Leclerc of course. He might even be competitive for being the winner of the race but his job seems really difficult. Verstappen put another great show today in the sprint race.

Yeah, I really just hope they can mess things up, because a draw with Slackovic for this round would feel like a loss to me to be honest due to the fact that I got fucked over by the Tennis issue regarding De Minaur, but I just want to believe that what are chances he would reach the final, and of course win the trophy, because since Cerendulo made it to the final and won the first tournament, I’ve taken it in good fate because now it’s justified, it’s time to move on and look forward to the next round of fixture.

I see the differente odds here, right before the start. Since it is pratically all the other players disputing 2 places, it is more or less unpredictable.

I already won the 3 points this round but I'm still disputing a free bet, if the answer is NO I win the free bet too.

This is a different bet, It's sprint race which is different from the main event, I believe.

The sprint race is current on, while the main race is going to take place tomorrow.

To Finish On The Podium        Yes     |   No

1. Charles Leclerc                  1.6         1.95
2. Carlos Sainz Jr.                  2.2         1.37
3. George Russell                  11.0        1.07

didn't check odds, but math based it is much easier to calculate NO probability, and it is simply 1.95*1.37*1.07, which gives odds around 3 for answer NO
based on that YES is around 1.4
so YES is much closer to be, but depend a lot on good start, and in case Ferrari duo starts well, I am close to a first loss this season

Seems like everyone with the YES on final question is happy, but you know they still have to race and win, and according to past races, not a lot of people are good at holding on to their lead. Either way, this is the chance for Ferrari to get their points racking up. Also very nice to see Norris getting a good starting grid!!

Personally didn't put any of those in podiums in the F1 pool but as long as Max wins, I should get more or less the points I need Smiley

Looks like we know the answer to that last question. Leclerc and Sainz have a chance to get to the podium because they are in the top 3 race positions. Cheesy

Does the racing position gives any advantage? And what's the chances of either of them not making to the podium? 2%?

I think it does racing position does give some form of advantage, prior to the qualifiers or it is test race it's being call, the odds for Leclerc to finish in the top 3 was well above 2.4 Odds, but now it's 1.60 odds the him not finish amongst the top 3 is valued 1.95 Odd.

When it comes to combination and permutation my mathematical skills isn't so great but for anyone that wants to know the chances here are the odds as at the time of this post;

To Finish On The Podium        Yes     |   No

1. Charles Leclerc                  1.6         1.95
2. Carlos Sainz Jr.                  2.2         1.37
3. George Russell                  11.0        1.07

According to the odds for other players, it's seem Leclerc is the best shot for those who picked, so unless Lewis Hamilton, Alonso and Sergio Perez can pull off some decent stunt, it's going to be a Yes to the question.

Wait... isn't the question will any of those three finish the rade on the podium? How does starting as second and third has anything to do with finishing on the podium? I know that it's F1, but there are changes to the starting lineup during the race... I hope one of them finishes on the podium so I get a draw against Harkorede. I don't like losing Smiley
I don't follow F1 as much, but the ones starting at the front have a better chance of finishing within the top 3 because there's less effort involved in holding their position.

When I watched some of the highlights back then, it felt like overtaking isn't always easy to pull off.

I don't follow F1 at all, but I know that it's easier for a driver that starts at the top to finish at the top. But I also know that there are tracks where it's difficult to overtake another driver and there are tracks where it's easier because of more straight parts of the track. I don't know what the track in Austria is like.

It is close because I had two correct answers but I dont think this is going to be enough for me to avoid losing this round  Tongue
Formula 1 can maybe save my ass, but if I lose it will be deserved and  I am hoping for a rematch in future.

What's with the F1 question? Is there any chance of a "YES" answer? I'm currently tied 5-5 with my opponent, and the F1 question will be the deciding factor since our answers differ.

Where are the F1 lovers ? Give us some update.

As long as Leclerc and Sainz don't have a big misfortune the answer will be yes.
