This is sports fanatics league and we will always try to have at least one question for true sports fanatics. We are also limited here by our own knowledge of the sports so please suggest something to us when you know some big event is happening. You can actually send us a question here or in the PM and if it is clearly worded and interesting we will probably include it. On the other hand we don't want to push away more casual players. That is why we have so far tried to keep a balance of about 7 football questions from top leagues + 3 questions from "other" sports. Seems like best we can do to give a bit of advantage to real sports fanatics and yet keep it casual enough to fill 3 leagues.

DOTA question this week really surprised me that some players left it blank. I feel it was very simple thing to fill with taking about 30 seconds on page like Liquipedia if you know nothing about sport. Same thing for tennis, you just open up a draw and pick first two seeds if you know nothing about sport and current form. Not perfect but both would get you at least draws in most cases.

I know absolutely nothing about Darts, Golf, Table Tennis or Sepaktakraw but if there is a big tournament we will maybe hit you a question from sport like that just to make you all broaden your horizons a bit  Us included.

Its all fun and games until most people dont really recognize some of those sports/event which kinda makes most of us will picked on random answers from it or leave it as a blank I guess. Even in this round, some players put in blank on that h2h dota question

Im wondering this, why is my #9 answer marked with green while jayce's marked with red. We both picked Alcaraz alongside with Tsitsipas and Medvevev as the winner but both has been knocked out so shouldnt it be a draw for us on this question?

Yep, definitely. You can help us with that, you can recommend picks for us.
Looking at all the leagues/sports/events takes a huge amount of time and if you tell us about something interesting going on we will consider it for sure.

Derby games from top 10 leagues or so are always interesting enough, we had Scottish, Dutch and Championship derbies so far. South american football definitely goes into that category.

There is the possibility that in the future we will have 10 questions 10 sports, there are many experts for the league, PL, so sometimes, please! I repeat, not always but those leagues have the greatest weight, I suppose that the sponsor is one of the causes.

This weekend, it is the South American classic Boca vs.  River, a football fan should know, a PL expert surely not. E.G.!

Honestly, I'm not so sure either about my F1 answer lmao. I was a sports fanatic with so wide knowledge about popular sports but not today, especially on esports. I was lucky enough to make right answers in previous rounds but this time I have no idea lol. The only thing I can depends on this round is just pure luck

You are still ahead of me with first two correct questions but I think winner could be decided in NBA and Bundesliga because we have very similar answers to other questions.
If New York wins against Miami again than we have a showdown in later stages, and Bundesliga matches are already starting today

It takes a lot of time handling all the stuff with campaigns and I dont know how this guys are doing everything, maybe they have wives and kids to help them  

It is much more engaging if you have the results as soon as possible. Same goes for prizes, I know I hate it when I win some pool and then have to wait 2 weeks to get the prize. Everything I am running and that includes all the stuff I am running with cryptofrka gets the payment as soon as possible. Don't know if you noticed yet but our Livecasino campaign now has payments half an hour after campaign cutoff time. Tell me if anybody else has a service like that

We are living in a fast world and everybody need to get the info and money as fast as possible. Due to nature of this competition we will always leave a small delay to account for possible mistakes but other than that expect to get your deserved prices promptly and results by the end of each day. 

Tsitsi really killed it for those who actually paid attention in the draw huh.

I know I always say he's gonna let you down, but seriously, there was no one left to stand in his way until Alcaraz. At this point, better to just put money on Coric or Karatsev the way the last ATPs have been going.

Personally, I feel you guys can take it easy with spreadsheet update. I'm willing to wait all week to see final results anyway, I check it myself from time to time just against my opponent. You guys got a life too!

You are a few points away from the prize position, and remember that the fewer the games, the more difficult it becomes. As we approach the end of the season, I expect a tougher competition as there are many clubs battling for euro competition spots, as well as 5-6 clubs battling for relegation, but as you said, you have nothing to lose, so you might as well start taking risks. I must agree that you are not particularly good at predicting correct scores. 



hahaha I know that, I'm also in a difficult situation, but I'm confident and proud of my picks so far; this is the most crucial round for everyone.

Wait... I just checked the Madrid tournament and I see that Struff is not out of the tournament. He is playing against Karatsev in the semi-final. How come that hakan2217's answer is red when he answered Alcaraz, Struff - Alcaraz? Is it because he was late to send his answers? I know that famososMuertos was late and hakan2217 is below him in the spreadsheet so I guess he sent his answers after famososMuertos.

Considering that 2 top seeds from the lower bracket are out (Tsitsipas and Medvedev), I assume most results will be draws.

I really expected more from Tsitsipas in Madrid. He had a dream draw until the final.

One question... What will happen if Alcaraz wins the tournament and I had Alcaraz,Tsitsipas - Alcaraz and my opponent had Alcaraz,Struff - Alcaraz? I guess that will be a draw between me and my opponent for that question, right? It doesn't matter that Struff was eliminated earlier than Tsitsipas, right?

I'm really relieved by Tsitsipas' being eliminated. Because I would have been very sad if I fell behind just because of my lack of attention. There are 3 questions left to break the tie between Slissy and me. In case I don't win I would lose my chance for the championship.


As cup champions get a chance to join the European Cup a recommendation like this came to my mind. However you are absolutely right here.

By the way, I want to prepare a weekly newspaper for the league. There are a few ideas in my mind like the important matches of a round, analyses of the previous round and interview with some members.

Yep, Tsitsipas lost me a point as well. The problem is that if you look at the draw, there's no one else to trust.

I think I'll lose a point in my F1 question so I need to get an advantage from somewhere. Funnily enough, I think I might get it from DOTA

Fritz lost to the unseeded 1-2 hours after I gave my answer so that was quite a bummer, but with Tsitstipas out that's saved me as Notblox had Alcaraz and Tsitsipas in the final. Tennis is always a difficult question to predict

I always thought that Man United would always face difficulties when they faced Brighton, but I don't know why I actually chose over on the answer because it turned out that United again showed how difficult it is for them to score goals when played against Brighton, so when they were able to beat Brighton in the FA Cup it looked like it was just luck.

That is just one of my biases towards some match up, not logical enough often, that's speaks volume of my current position in the pool, but as for that, I already have an aggressive  plan for 4 of the last 5 fixture, so I might either get up a few positions or drop the rock bottom of the pile, but nothing to lose.

I would choose Brighton to win versus United all day, as I did in the first leg in the other pool, in the FA Cup, and again yesterday in the sportsbet pool. Well, 21 people chose the wrong answer, so only a few people got it right, but it didn't matter here because I and my opponent both had the same answer.

I only use the esports page of Flashscore for checking the pre-live odds.

When it comes to anything related to competitive DOTA, I mostly use Liquipedia to check the playoffs bracket. For the other stuff like live scores, results, and news I use dltv they have a convenient schedule list on the side and you can check the recent result as well.

That by all means seemed like an Under 2.5 goals match to me outrightly, if the question had been to choose Man Utd, Brighton or Draw, I strongly believe the result would have been much more divided amongst participant, perhaps including because I likely might have gone for Man United to win the game.

I just need Jimmy Bucket back for the next Match up against New York Knicks, so that they'll take the very likely 2-1 lead for me, and Tundra Esports should also get eliminated from the Dota 2 major too, then I should get the W for the round

Had it not been a waiting to submit my entry, Medvedev was the best candidate to get to the finals besides top seed  Alcaraz, tbh Tsitsipas is a total let down and this has been the second time in a role picking this lad and failing to deliver...never again!!!

Brighton is not a team you want to face at the moment with the momentum they have, especially when they are on their home turf , and determined to revenge their last outing.. it was written that United will be approaching this game with caution and you could tell from uniteds players body language that they were ready to settle for a boredraw but unlucky Shaw handed over the golden opportunity to the Seagulls with his desperate attempt to clear the ball in the last seconds of the game. Coming to think of it,  sometimes you have to hate VAR lol.

Brighton looking impressive in the last half of the season, hope they make their mark against Arsenal..
